Locks are so hard to install, but I didn't have a hard time with this one.
As someone who just used this kit to install a deadbolt through a metal door, I suggest you clamp the jig in place very tightly and check to make sure it stays in place the entire time. It can slip and result in an angled cut if you're not careful. Also, if the hole saw gets stuck to the arbor, you can use an impact driver to get it free, there are several videos here on RUclips that show how to do it.

Did lots of research and settled on this one. I did not set up the piece to sense when my door is closed, ended up not needing that feature. I love that with Bluetooth it automatically unlocks when it can tell I’m approaching the door (when my phone is in my pocket).
It's so convenient to come home and have the door unlock automatically for me. I have it installed between my garage and the entrance to my house, and it works flawlessly.

Did the camp holding the jig in place get in the way when drilling the larger hole? Seems like the clamp is in the area of where the drill bit would come out through the door

Installation was a breeze for me. I am replacing existing keyed deadbolts. So no need to align a door to a frame. The lock itself easily installed in the existing cutouts. I didn't even need to replace the door frame strike plate as my old one works fine
