PVIII, Thank you for taking me back to the 1990's when I traveled to Japan for work. I remember the taste of Sapporo from the tap being so evenly balanced with the hops being more subtle than you described. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Man, I love Sapporo. The flavor, the feel of the can. I used to get two or three of them to start the evening of a few beers before moving to a lesser beer later in the evening, which was Bud Light. lol.
Japanese beer brewed in the US. In a recent visit to the market, I found every Japanese beer sold in the US was brewed in the US - or Italy for some reason.
If you have a deathwish, you can try Stillwater artisinal's "Surf" beer, brewed with lobster (if you can still find it)...not as bad as it sounds...more of a lemony sour. Or try an oyster stout (are oysters shellfish? I dunno...)
Oh yeah - a brewery up in Alaska makes an oyster stout; they call it "Matanuska Thunder Shuck." Which is on-brand for a brewery that also makes beers called "Panty Peeler," and "Pleasure Town."
Not only did he find their hid-a-key but he went and had a copy made so he could sneak in and do these videos when they left. And for that.......we thank him.
Even regular Saporro is damn good beer. Was a surprise the first time I tried it, beer isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you think of 'things the Japanese are really good at'
Part of me knows for absolute sure this is all schtick and a brilliant put on because I googled around and found PV3 in a commercial playing a doctor- but part of me is scared dude is actually living in his car… because goddamnit his takes on booze are always dead nuts on and actors seldom inhabit a character so thoroughly for so long…
Once you get above 500,000 subscribers, you should go on a tour and do stand-up, and sell PV3 Merchandise. You could possibly get an endorsement from a wine company and have your own beverage! I believe in you, Mr. PV3!!!
If you're looking for a good buzz and a decent percentage of you're daily calorie count, I'd highly suggest a Narragansett Beer Tall Boy 6 pack. It's only $5.89 (on par with PBR pricewise, but better in the flavor department IMHO), so you can enjoy a filling tasting menu at a reasonable price.
don’t get me wrong, I love hearing pv3 sh*ttalk the trash drinks as much as the next guy, but it does make me happy seeing him get to drink something he really likes and can really sink his sommelier teeth into :)
Hey, I'm allergic to shellfish, too! I found that out when I went to Bubba Gump shrimp on the Santa Monica Pier in LA and my throat constricted to the width of a straw! (the paper straws, because it IS California, after all)
Anyone else waiting for the eventual reveal that this is actually just a creepy, horror RUclips series where PV3’s family & ex aren’t real but a fiction made up in the mind of some guy whose name isn’t even Preston to cope with dark things that have really happened in his life & is now going from house to house killing & disposing of the owners & sometimes his Preston personality is acting out beings former wine sommelier that now makes youtube videos drinking whatever the homeowner had available? No? Just me?
there are things i have and have not done for this channel i have been here since 10k subs and i will keep being here even when there is 10 mil subs thanks PV3
I don't know if you can get it in the States, but 'La Fin Du Monde' is a Quebeçois beer in a bloody big grolsch bottle with lees in the bottom. Also would enjoy a review of Big Drop's 'Galactic Dark Noir' non-alcoholic beer.
xD "jerky from the recliner", I actually relate to that line pretty hard, jerky from the recliner pickles from the jar and whatever beer I can afford are my Friday nights.
Sapporo is like a working man's beer in Japan, there's a number of good beers I prefer but it's pretty solid(as opposed to asahi which is like Budweiser but somehow worse). For masspro stuff I like Kirin ichiban the most, now that's a good fkn beer
“I feel like we are overlooking product placement as a viable way to stay within the framework of most people’s reality.” Wait wait wait. Is PV3 just an AD???????
"The best merger of German and Japanese talents in history." Thats a good joke.
Heil PV3.
"One would say, the best!"
Significantly better than the last German-Japanese project circa 1945
Lmaooo

"The best merger of their talents in history" i love your nuance lol.
Japanese beer? With every video, we grow closer and closer to soju lol. Keep up the good work, King! 💪🤴👍

Mmmhmmm the 420 xx pale ale.. numnums
Oyster Stout 👌

The delivery of “she sprinkled shrimp dust all over my spirits “was very JD from Scrubs!
It's nice to see you review a product that you actually enjoy every now and then.

You should try some Japanese Whiskey if you haven't before. They make some good shit.
It is good! Haven't had it in ages. Going to buy some tomorrow!
@@drstrangejove637 unfortunately Japanese whiskey prices seem to have gone up at least here in the uk
I would try other japanese beer if you can. I find that saporro is on the lower end of japanese beer. Asahi, Orion and kirin are some good ones
@@40kaze718 I prefer Sapporo to asahi but imo they're both pretty great
One of my favorite beers. Never seen the tall hourglass shaped cans, but I do prefer bottles regardless.
It's a real heavy gauge metal can also. If the twisted tea incident happened with this can the guy would've been dead.
It's always nice to see a return of Happy Prescott.
Need that Korean Soju next lol
あのビールは美味しいです。
Ano bīru wa oishīdesu. Good review. Happy to see you....enjoy something.

With over 100k subs, he can make a living doing nothing but this, if he chose. That ad company didn’t feature PV3, they were able to land PV3.
Once you get above 500,000 subscribers, you should go on a tour and do stand-up, and sell PV3 Merchandise. You could possibly get an endorsement from a wine company and have your own beverage! I believe in you, Mr. PV3!!!
You should try the Sapporo Black, great taste!
Sapporo is a top tier beer! That and Tiger or Asahi are my go-to beers
Fun fact, Sapporo for North America is brewed a couple hours Northwest of Toronto
I really like the flavour of Sapporo. One of my favourite beers. Great review. Just from smelling it, you managed to remember all those stuff.
“Adults who watch anime” I feel attacked 😅
:30 was gold. Was that a Canadian Sapporo? Not seen the real thing in the US. Also, PV3, it was 7 Samurai, not Ran, seriously?
Another good Japanese beer is Asahi. But it seems to translate pretty poorly into cans
But out of a bottle, I’ve always found it super refreshing.
On your next trip to Japan, review the automated draft beer machine in the airport lounge!
Sapporo is my go to beer along with hofbrau original and Paulaner hefe wiezen
He would so be my choice for a modern day John Arbuckle :D
Birddog. Salted. Caramel. Whiskey.

ayo he drinkin' real drinks now
I'm drinking one now. I think it might be a new favorite.
don’t get me wrong, I love hearing pv3 sh*ttalk the trash drinks as much as the next guy, but it does make me happy seeing him get to drink something he really likes and can really sink his sommelier teeth into :)
Sapporo takes me back to hole in the wall ramen and gyudon spots and running from shore patrol after curfew in Okinawa. Good times
When I visited Japan I would buy a can at the 7-Eleven for about 380 Yen. Fill the tub with hot water and just relax while drinking the beer.
I need you to review every flavor of good day soju at once.
You know what would be another great merger of talent? HTD and PV3 crossover episode #algorithm
I'd rather see a Whiskey Tribe crossover with PV3.
3:47 Prescott has a meta moment.
Hey, I'm allergic to shellfish, too! I found that out when I went to Bubba Gump shrimp on the Santa Monica Pier in LA and my throat constricted to the width of a straw! (the paper straws, because it IS California, after all)
I still thank you for showing me this beer. I have it whenever I'm eating ramen or okonomiyaki. :)
Great beer aside, I really like that shirt! Where can I get one?
So even though PV3 hates topo harx seltzer, it's not bad. Had it recently and it has no fake sugar.
But glad he got to try a good product for once.
"Ran" is such a good movie!
Yeah that last merger kinda got a world wide angst reputation
i love this channel so much. thank you for being almost as depressing as i am :D
I love Saporro and Kirin.
I love PV3.
I’ll have to give Sapporo another try. Also commenting for the algorithm.

Great video my friend, very enjoyable.
Drank this in Japan too, with fried oysters.
i drank mine with fresh baby blood.
adrenochrome infused.
your turn.

Still need to try Strong Zero. That'll knock you off your feet after two cans
xD "jerky from the recliner", I actually relate to that line pretty hard, jerky from the recliner pickles from the jar and whatever beer I can afford are my Friday nights.
I was wondering what on God's green earth is an onion volcano‽
A quick search reveals that I have never been to a Benny Hanna's.
You should start reviewing chewing tobacco so you can introduce another character: Spitter, Spittoon’s wayward brother.
Japanese Budweiser! Not all the bad/good! The job it gets done!😃😉
Life may be in disarray but a little PV3 brightens the day!
Tumbler glass? Are you sure it's not shaped like a pilsner glass?

Mini-Spittoon?! You have my attention. #Spittoon #Algorithm
U should do a review for tipsy bartender creation one day gonna be fun. 2 clashing personalities
those cuffs though
Sapporo is okay. It's basically just Japanese Budweiser.
You want a quality beer review, try St Bernardus Abt. 12 or their Christmas Ale
Please try Asahi Super Dry I prefer it over Sapporo
I wish they would export Suntory's "The Premium Malt's" - turns out those guys can brew beer just as well as they distill whiskey.
I'm surprised you didn't do a flight of Japanese beers. They are pretty good
You can pair this with theeeese nuts
Asahi Super Dry next!!!
Sapparo is my second favorite, Asahi is my number 1.
Sapporo is delicious
I'd love to see a video where you did all beverages that receive a 100 out of 100...does that even exist? Is that only wines? Let us know.
The *second* best merger
Hey, this is a solid brew, I'll drink it all day everyday
“I feel like we are overlooking product placement as a viable way to stay within the framework of most people’s reality.”
Wait wait wait. Is PV3 just an AD???????
Haha, I like Sapporo and gave it a 79 as well!
I think it should get at least an 80 - a B- instead of a C+
Good beer with sushi.
As someone that usually dislikes beer, Sapporo is very pleasant
are you sure you werent on a bukake tour???
commenting for the algorithm
You're the best, man.
That's a favorite of mine
Can you do a review of Tennents lager?
Brewed in Japan like Fosters is brewed in Australia?
Based akira Kurosawa fan!!
I forgot you do positive reviews too
You should do a video with Hoovies Garage
While Ran was a great movie, Akira Kurosawa’s best film is The Hidden Fortress.
Nice video as always 👍
Late to the party this time but I can excuse this by using PVIII's crappy car excuse.
Crappy family, crappy wife, crappy car. The Trifecta!
No matter how shit my day is, you make me feel better by having it internet worse😄
Looks yummy
Grey Poupon wine review please!!!
Miller beer of Japan
looks very much like Smirnoff Ice, i doubt its as good though
You started speeking marketies you have practiced ..kurasawa ..7 samurai all yhe way
I feel like he's at Ikea lol
