Such a great video Dianna! You explained GTM strategy in a unique way that other RUclipsrs don't do. It really helped me feel more prepared for my job interview today 🙂
This video is so much better in terms of the cognitive load that the previous videos had. You fixed the background visual overload by sitting in front of an empty wall, removed the background music(even though that was almost inaudible), and fixed the frame height so that your hands are visible(since you are an expressive person in general). My suggestion would be to lower the brightness of your fill light as you are filming during the day and match the text box color theme to your clothes or furniture. PS- Excellent videos which are so informative and to the point. Keep them coming. :)
Hi Dianna! Recently discovered your channel and I am HOOKED! On the topic of GTM, if you would have to choose between two roles: PM vs GTM manager which one would you go for if your main goal was to learn how to launch commercially successful products to the market?
Interesting question… PMs do end to end product launches so you’d learn more from user needs to launch. But GTM managers have more depth on various strategies to do it and see patterns of what works across a variety of products. I’d probably say PM because one of the most important things for a successful product launch is a solid product- if you don’t have that, doesn’t matter how you market it
nice video, though I think it is targetted more towards product marketers, for a PM things like designing A/Bs, iterating and relaunching are more relevant
Your explanations are super clear. Well done! I’m curious though, beyond the interview how often do you use the same framework when building real products in your company?
Dianna, thank you so much for this amazing video on gtm strategy! Could you please make another episode focusing on how to do monetization for a new product or how to improve monetization for an existing product? I appreciate all the efforts you put into the videos, and they are so helpful to me!!😀
