loved how natural and personable she is- but if assessing this interaction, she had a ton of prior experience and domain expertise in the fitness space. under normal conditions and interviews, i doubt someone asked to build something is lucky enough to "happen" to get a question about a space they are well versed on. would like to see her tackle a market space she is not as familiar with for authenticity ie: not having practically expert level understanding of the competitive landscape and firsthand knowledge of pain points.
@@richmparker19 @Billoybong2 Just commenting to motivate people. I had this same question when I interviewed at Meta (before this video was recorded) I structured my answer and came out strong just like she did. Infact I even suggested to the interviewer that we should execute on our fitness plan by buying Peleton (they had a massive stock drop at this time). My advice follow Diannas frameworks and know alot about tech and businesses. This is def doable! (I got the offer)
first time i see one of your interview mockup videos. Really liked that you had the whiteboard at the bottom of the screen, made it a lot easier to understand. Really liked the comments popping up, would have been interesting to address them in real time and capure how the interviewee replies to them.
What tool does Trish use for the notes/white boarding? I am looking for an easy to use and clean structure tool that allows both typing and using a stylus. Any suggestions?
Personal trainers will help set goals and provide education too. I don't know if the pain point is unique. Now at the price point, it might be, that should be a dimension
It's good to follow a structure, but I felt this interview is even more textbook-ish. At the end, if you really look at the solution at 22:00 it felt very artificial
She did a good job imho except the solution part, she could have come up with more innovative ideas for that part. I mostly don't agree with Dianna's comments though - feels like she was pushing hard to find something negative, didn't like that part. Overall, very insightful and educative!
The tinder style is just finding a 1:1 trainer? Don't see anything differentiated here unfortunately. I don't think the solutions were unique and you wouldnt ship any of them individually.
🤩Comment below: ✍what question do you want to see Trish solve next?

Your content is top notch. Better than exponent! This is a token of my appreciation of your help in my product management job search.❤🙏
Aw that means a lot, thank you for the support! 🙌🙌 and keep the suggestions coming! Always looking for ideas on video content
Hi Dianna, did Trish receive the question beforehand? She seems super ready and very smooth with her ideas
Same thought I had

@@richmparker19 i like how the conversation really flows but am also pretty sure it's not thought on the spot.
Really love this video. Especially appreciate the feedback you gave both during the video and at the end.
Really hope to see mock videos from you.

Wow Trish said months to prepare! I had about 10 days between the screening and initial interview and these videos are helping a lot!
How'd it go?

Looking for same. What tool is this?
It is called excalidraw and it is used in meta interviews
@@scoutee does excalidraw allow for stylus to be uesd?
what is the "blue app"? Facebook App?
You said her strengths to leverage were generic. What would you pick as Meta's strength?

this is extremely helpful
how are people scheduling interviews 2 months out?
this is super helpful!!!
This is so helpful!

Overall okay but over-the-top hand gestures and speaking too fast. I would prefer a calmer and composed approach to the interview.
I agree, at @5:00 she talked so fast that she almost had to catch her breath...
that's fair but it's not what you're evaluating.
