Didn't personally attend classes at school most of the time as I was working in a hospital so I only had these videos as a review material. Only ever went to school for quizzes and exams. It was a quick 3 year and I graduated with my second bachelors. Now I still work as a hospital pharmacist as the pay is much higher than starting as a junior engineer but now currently working on my Master in Engineering Practice.

@@skitzer5195 It just depends on what your high school course load was in high school if you're in the US. If you didn't take precalculus/calculus in high school, you'll just learn it in college. It also kinda depends on your major.

Great instructor and great video. For example 4, p was defined as the distance from the focus to the vertex. Distance is always positive, Then we can use the formula for a parabola that opens to the left (y^2=-4px) and it will lead us to the standard form. This way we use the original formula y^2=-4px and not y^2=4px. Just my opinion.

I just gotta say this video is way better than following the video Limespring is giving. The instructor assumes we know way too much and you can see where his mouse is pointing so when he talks your eyes just go all over the place trying to find where he is at. The next thing you know you're watching a 13 min video for 40 minutes. lol my bad rant over
