Thank you for you help.
I was trying and trying all day .
Watching you video .😂 My English and technology is very poor but finely I did it. I think it was a little different from yours bcos my ring is 3 years old. But I did it
Thanks again
Your English sounds great, at least reading it. You are doing great
Just what i needed and right to the point. Thank you.
Hey there. Simply wanted to say "thank you" for posting these clear, concise directions. They really helped me out today when I changed the name of our home network. Thanks a bunch, my friend.
Glad we could help
Just plain, simple, straight up how it. No fluff. Easy paced and easy to follow. I loved the double screen to see the speaker and you highlighting the app steps on the phone.
In addition to being able to see the speaker it was very beneficial for me to have you holding the device and showing those parts of the steps too.
Well done.
I hope your channel grows and grows.
Thank you so much for those kind words. Really means a lot
Thanks for the help i needed to up date my cameras with my wifi extender and you helped me get the job done.
Very clear, no nonsense explanation. Thank you!
Appreciate your kind words.
Straight to the point, no fluff! (Not all heroes wear capes! Thanks!
Such a helpful video! Thanks!!!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for an excellent video, easy to understand and we had no problem reconnecting to our Wi-Fi. One needs to know the 5-digit Pin (on the back of the doorbell under the QR code) and password to the Wi-Fi.
Thanks, very clear and concise.
I would have never found this on my own... "device health".... would have never guessed to look there. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly!! Been trying for 4 days to reconnect this thing 🤬
A life saver. Thanks
Welcome!
Thanks, tried to find it by myself but didn't. Was helpful.
Thank you so much I was Lost trying to switch to new network, you were very easy to follow!!!❤❤
The app changed its location and name of choice.
Its still in Device Health menu.
But its near the top now, fourth choice.
And its just called Change Network
Ty for the video
You GOATED
I don't have "change wifi network"
Mine doesn’t either ? Did you get anywhere with yours ?
Mine either .
I would make sure you're you're running the latest app version as well as the latest version of Android. Lot of updates have been rolling out lately
SO HELPFUL! I really like your vibe/energy....please post more Ring tips..do you have video of unscrewing doorbell to reset with new password. I bought the screwdriver set....
I just follow your instructions and it works 😂 Thanks
I don’t have that option listed on my app. It just says it’s “offline”
I just had this issue yesterday myself. I had to reset the whole camera then go through the set up process again
@@smarthomestarter how do you reset it
No where in my devices settings does it say “change WiFi”. I upgraded my modem/router last week and had to reinstall both cameras but now the notifications do not respond to motion even though I reset the notifications.
Ring changed the app. You now have to have the device in your hand, unscrew the bottom and press a button. Very annoying.
@@bernieweinkauf1043 hell yeah I’ll take apart a iTunes an iPhone X
Thanks
Ty
ThankYou!
Glad it helped
Great job! Love when I get on RUclips looking for help and run into someone like yourself who has the perfect advice. Straight to the point... exactly what I needed. Awesome. 🙏
Thanks dude
Happy to help
Just so you know on lots of ring cams now you have to take down the unit and press the reset button. Might want to update the video.
Which ones? That seems like a hassle
Most of them, the ring doorbell 2 and the cams.
Yes, true, now serious job to be done instead of being simple after it was already all set up! Not easy if you had to upgrade your modem!!!
the best explained video
Thank you sir
Welcome
You are awesome thank you!
I just upgrade my Wi-Fi to Deco axe 5400 mesh system, I use same ssid but none of my Ring devices will connect, I tried so many times to connect them no luck
Thank you!!!!!
Any updates on this??
My App does not have the option to “
change wifi network”. Plus my camera is up on the ROOF! 😮 not very easy to climb up and hit a reset button.
You have to log in as the user that originally setup the device. If you are logged in as a different user you will not see this option listed.
My ring home doorbell 2 Alexa app doesn't show "Change Wifi Network" it just shows "Change Network".
Now obviously it's the same thing as there are no other options in that field. But it's not working. So there might be a new update(which I also just did to hope it fixed it) that didnt' actually fix the problem.
Thanks!
Thank u this helped
Device health is so intuitive. Not! That's the last thing I would tap. Thanks man!
I have an upper 50's rssi, I'm guessing that is the reason for my grainy video. I may need to reposition my router or get a new one. Thanks.
Thank you so much🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thank you 👍😀
Perfect! Thanks!!
Got it Thank you 😊
Excellent video
Thanks
Nice work. Total fail that it's not right in settings. Thanks.
Thank you so much!!
Pressed change wifi network. It didn't let me go on network page?? My wifi 2.4 and 5gz is intergrated. Does connect automatically to 2.4 gz Help me?
Yes but mine is on the door already screwed in
Thanks man. I have to hook my driveweay cam to a WiFi extender and didn't know how.
So if you’re not seeing the Change WiFi Network option you want not be logged into the account that the device is associated with.
This seems to be missing a step my Ring is prompting me to do, which is to push the pairing button on the camera.
Super helpful
Why does one camera have change network but not my 2nd camera?
Do I have to do this to each and every camera (8 cameras) INDIVIDUALLY???.... or can I do it to all of them at the same time? Thank you?
We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
Jeez why do they hide it? Why not be like every Wi-Fi enabled device and just have a Wi-Fi section with all the Wi-Fi networks?
I set up my ring video in a foreign country and it's works fine while I'm here in the UK, but an engineer has changed the router and there's no connection now, is there a way I could change the router name and password while I'm here in the UK please? 🙏🏾🤔😱
I can't believe I have to do each device manually instead of account wide, I have many cameras I set up, my wifi modem had to be upgraded, now it won't reconnect unless I manually do each one!
That’s one benefit of Blink. It’s one and done
I don’t have blinking blue light. My light is constantly blue on setup mode. Why?
Press and hold the reset button for 20 seconds. Then start the setup. It just worked for me.
When switching, you would have to put in a password tho! You didn't show how to do that!
Why are these ring doorbells so difficult so set up I’m going to give it one more try if still won’t connect it’s going back
Ugh. Ring has completely changed the app. Now I have to a ladder and climb near the roof to press a button on all my cameras. Ugh.
At least you have a ladder.
Now what if the light doesn't flash and your device is too high to reach even with a ladder?
Well, that’s tough. It got up there somehow. Maybe try adding a WiFi extender?
What if the old WiFi network is no longer online?
Mine doesn’t flash anything
I don't have the 'change the wifi network' option.
Is there a menu option that says “Change network”?
Can I take one of my cameras to my MIL's house and connect to her wifi and I would see the videos on my phone?
Mine keeps asking for a code and I can’t find it
you can get the code from the back of your camera in the s/n bar code right after the c usually 5 digits
Yo te prometo que voy a buscarte
My not finding network
Are other devices able to discover the network?
Why do we need to see you? The screen is too small on my phone to see!
Because I’m so handsome
