Thank you for putting this together! Very helpful. (I will say, I think for this kind of product video, you'd be better off widening the frame quite a bit. Much of the time the helmet is out of frame or cropped making it difficult to appreciate)
Disappointed with airflow in head up flying position on G35. Lens fogged up in freefall and remained fogged up entire skydive - only disappeared on track. Disconcerting as I could hardly see through it. The antifog on visor also had zero effect. Brand new with 3 jumps on it.
You can't go wrong with either of these. If you want the impact-protection, go with the G4. If you want a helmet that can have a camera added on later, then go with the G35.
The G35 has the option of an integrated cutaway system if using their utility plate and camera mounts. Everything else is really just differences between the G35 and G4...and you would have to figure out which is an advantage for you or not. The G4 is impact-rated, while the G35 is not. You can read about more differences here: www.chutingstar.com/blog/prime-time-for-cookie-g35-helmet/
Not specifically to fit the Cookie Roller, but there are mounting options for that camera available from Jairo Garcia at this link: www.adrenalineworkshop.com/dji-osmo
According to the information I need a size M helmet. I tried one of these yesterday and it struck me as odd because I could easily slide 3 fingers between the helmet and my chin. Does it have to be like this?
You'd want to try on a Small and see if that fits better. The chart is just a base reference, but the actual size that is best for you can sometimes be 1-2 sizes different...just based on helmet shape vs head shape as well as different personal comfort preferences. It also could be the Medium just needs a tighter chin strap adjustment for you and would fit fine.
The video goes into those differences. Some of those include a full visor seal for the G35 vs a partial visor seal for the G4, rated impact protection for the G4 vs no rated impact protection on the G35, an integrated optional cutaway system for the G35 vs no cutaway system for the G4, $459 for the G35 vs $479 for the G4, different sizing charts for both helmets, darker visor tints for the G35, smaller outside profile for the G35. This is the first time we've heard of a fogging issue with the G35. If you contact Nick of Cookie at nick@flycookie.com he can help you sort this out.
This will be my first full face skydiving helmet. I’m new to the sport, so which one would be a good choice to get in my case? Thanks in advance.

When comparing a G4 and a G35 of the same size, which is larger in volume?
@@karna0120 The G4 helmet is physically bigger around the outside vs G35 helmets. The inner size charts are different too for sizing inside.
@@Chutingstar Thank you. That was helpful.

can a g35 visor fit on a g4?
Unfortunately no. G4 visors only fit on the G4 and G35 visors only fit on the G35.
G4 it's orange or red?
The one in the video is red.
“Ahhhh” whole video
G35 look better
