Dear Ian, Thank you for your very kind comments. Unfortunately the church building was demolished in 1996, a block of flats and houses now occupy the site. I gave many recitals on this organ in the 1970's and 80's many of which have been recorded. I shall post a few more recordings when time permits. JOHN
Very glad to hear that the organ survived and still thrives. Does the church still stand? I ask because many fine 19th/early-20th century churches fell victim to "comprehensive redevelopment" and to ignorant prejudice against all things Victorian. Enjoyed the fine playing!
