- Kate, Kava and Jim rockhound a new (to them) spot on the far east side of the Yellowstone River. While visiting the Seven Sisters Wildlife Management area, Kate is delighted to find agates waiting for her in the vast gravel bar. After sharing her finds, she opens a gift from a viewer that has fantastic shell fossils, Holt Canyon jasper, and some amazing chunks of BLUE AGATE from Fiddler Canyon. From beginning to end, SO MANY BEAUTIFUL ROCKS!

The agate is a beautiful shade blue and the jasper is an awesome mix of colors and both should polish up beautifully. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
Thanks for watching! :)
Super fun finds! Gosh, I wish I lived near those stunning agates. I look forward to all of your videos. Keep rocking!
Also, what a lovely parcel ✨
Thanks for the 🎥
Stay Crystal 💫
Thanks for watching! :)
I have these blue agate all over my property in central Texas. I have some in a tumbler and have been interested in finding out what kind of rock they are. I figured it was some type of quartz but the red and orangish colors inside had me guessing…
Wow, that sounds great! I would take one of them to a local rock shop and see if you can get it identified - blue rocks are generally pretty rare!
That red and green jasper is gorgeous! Love the blue agate too. Aliso Creek is day trip distance from me, looks like it's time to explore!
Explore away! :)
Be interesting to see if those blues hold any color after slabbing.
Those blues are just beautiful
I actually have an oyster fossil with the pearl still in it! Found inTopanga canyon !
Amazing!
Boy, the nacre on that one fossil shell was surprising. Nice gift😌
It was!
I’m excited & waiting…❤️
Hi, Bebo! I'm glad you're excited. :)
Nices finds and gifts! I hurt myself on our last rockhounding trip, so my doin' is watchin' for now ha! Take Care Katie.
Oooh, take care!
So many nature's beauties. A pile of glowing gems.
You found some really pretty stones along the river. It's nice to have good friends. You got another good haul without having to carry it back. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
Thank you, Sand Maker!
I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for what you do.
Another beautiful video!!
Congratulations!!
Thanks for watching! :)
Those blue agates from Jim are gorgeous. I would love to see you slice one of them up a few times to see some slabs.
Yes, I'm going to be doing a substantial amount of slabbing over Christmas break. :)
@@KatyDidRocks Yay, I like seeing what those babies have hiding inside them.
That red and yellow jasper is super cool, such Bright colors.
Thanks!
Nice agates, tumbling in the trunk now I see, lol! Such a nice gift. The shells were amazing.
Plenty of room left in there.
LOL, I wonder if you could arrange some kind of trunk tumbler... maybe powered by the wheels?
@@KatyDidRocks cement truck would suffice..lol!
@@robbybobby6483 Great idea!
Blue is my Fave. Hope those work well & make fabulous pieces.. I would wear a pendant of it all the time.. So Jealous.. Dry rivers makes great hunting.. So Cool..~ James, whoever you are ~ You are an amazing Friend...
:) Thanks for watching!
None beat Jasper when it comes to colors, right? :-) Nice gift and you found a LOT of big Agats too.
Thanks for watching! :)
New to your videos, they are great! Putting so many names to the stones I find in the nearby rivers, thanks!
Welcome! I'm glad you find them useful. :)
I found a small arrowhead made of agatized wood there once..
Ooooh, that would be so cool!
Nice faind tahnks for sharing this video
Thanks for watching! :)
Last time I went hunting with my toddler, he might have smelled like dead things by the time we left.
LOL, the struggle is real!
It is legal to rock hunt in the MT state WMAs?
Definitely, as long as you are on the riverbank!
I wonder if those blue agate are iris or not
I don't THINK so, but maybe?
First the dog gets a bath, and then the rocks!
Ha!
Could the red/green be mudstone? 5:04
No, it's definitely jasper - super hard stuff. :)
That was a nice box of rocks.
It was!
📽️🎬📹🏆🏆🏆🏆👏👏👏👏👏👏
:D
Gorgeous agates!
Thanks!

Look at the last frame of the last rock you picked up. In the upper left above that rock is a blue rock and you didn’t pick it up. I doubt it’s an agate but still incredible light baby blue.🤎🙏
That was a pretty rock. I always see rocks I would have picked up that she doesn't. Just goes to show the difference of people's likes.
Yeah, what type of rock was that? It was beautiful!
@@katpillar4131 I don’t know
@@katpillar4131 Kat, that rock was a "Leaverite".
Yeah, just leave er right there.
My favorite find is that quartz pocket surrounded by agate. I like the blue agate. Beautiful gifts. Keep on doing you Katie. Thank you for taking us along your adventures.
Thank you for joining me!
