If you press and hold the edc switch (the tall tail switch) for more than 10 seconds it will then flash 3 times and disable the proximity sensor. That's what I did with mine and it says how to in the manual as well. Also the light does lockout. Just have to rapid tap the same EDC tall button 5 times.
@DarrenYeoYT you're welcome! After I heard you mention it I quickly pulled up my manual because I could've sworn you could turn off the sensor. I'm glad that worked, love the light!
Dude, your review video is awesome, can you review the YC8001 flat flashlight? I want to know what you think of it before I decide whether to buy it or not😁😁
Thanks mate, I haven't heard of the YC8001 until now. Reminds me of the Wurkkos HD01. Because it's a relatively new brand, I can't comment much on it but if you can get it for a decent price, might be worth the gamble.
Also the side lights on this design provide questionable utility. For white light to be useful I need a way to fix the light to something. Unlike Auroras with magnets all around, this one does not have that. The red is also more useful for me when pointed in the direction of the main light. These days I mostly use red filters on the lights with standard size bezels, but I have a few lights from a gone era like Nitecore P18 that have a red LED to complement a main one.
This happened with another RovyVon I had. For some reason the battery didn't charge fully the last time, so if you have been using it regularly it may not have enough voltage in the battery anymore.
perfect you see our of all these 5 flashlihts you showed in the begining are great except for the O-LIGHT one go figure and O-LIGHT is sapost to be the best lol yeah wright maybe the worse

I'm not a Olight fan either. There is nothing ostensibly wrong with their product but I just don't care for the over saturated advertising style. The Rovyvon reviewed here is top notch along with their other lights as well
Please tell me this isn't actually 118€, cause it's what the sites showing me. Such a beauty though. Thanks for the upload and i appreciate your replies 🫶
Hi mate, yeah it's not cheap. Might want to shop around on different sites. I hear you guys have to pay import taxes as well!? That's new for me, I've never had to for personal purchases like this.
oh right it looks like big A includes import in the price. wurkkos so far did the opposite: they paid the import tax and did not charge me extra. such angels! i saw a similar light at wurkkos, might get that instead 😁

Thanks for that man, that will probably change the game for a few people watching this. I updated the video description.

Thanks man I want trying to light up the guy doing donuts at 1 am outside my house but the window kept triggering the proximity sensor.
Lockout and disabling the proximity sensor are both available. Love the light and your reviews
Thanks mate, yep I added this into the video description after - missed the bottom part of the manual 😅
appreciate your reviews and insights. Really enjoying this light
Would be interesting to see it side by side with the original lights the body design was "borrowed" from - Nitecore EDC 27 / EDC 25
Yeah they look sorta similar. One big difference is battery capacity (double in the E30 Pro)
The Streamlight wedge was one of the first lights with this body shape style
That beam profile is perfect for EDC. They got this right!
Pretty throwy too. I do wish there was a proper ML mode though.
I'm glas finally you make a review for this. I think E30 Pro is better flat flashlight compare to EDC 27 / 25, Arkfeld, and Arkflex.
Yeah it's my favourite of the lot too.
Is it the same size as those competitors?
Just got mind. Have yet to play around with it.
Nice. That tactical mode is really bright...

that's a very good size for edc..not the other one which are too long😅😅😅
wish they will release other colors such as black👍
Thanks for watching! They do have a black version but it comes with two white LEDs and UV I think.

Be ok as a dim walking light, clipped to the front pocket
Is the back of the light so horrible that you won't show it? I wanted to see what kind of clip it had but that was impossible.
Hmm, I thought I did show it. Guess not. Nothing wrong with the back, might wanna google it or check their website.
My flashlight won't go into turbo mode anymore, any ideas?
Hmm no clue. It's fully charged? Maybe contact RovyVon.

love it

I used to think they were just an over advertised hype monster, but i have 2 of their lights and I like them very much.

There’s a German site (selected-lights) that sells it for €95.
Mukama also has it for €90
