Hey, I just received this bag I bought from AE. It has slots that hold flashlights perfectly. Zips up and has a handle so you can carry it easily. It's perfect for bringing along a bunch of lights to test. They come in camo, army green, black, desert color. It was cheap too. I really like it!! It's made for a handgun but works perfectly for lights.
I just bought a bag that fits flashlights perfectly! It has 9 slots to fit your average flashlight perfectly. It was like $6.50 on AE. They have black, olive, desert, camouflage. It zips up and has a carry handle. It's called a pistol range bag. I'm loving it. I can carry like 6 flashlights simultaneously and not get them scratched up.
I don't have as many flashlights as you but the Wurkkos HD15R and Convoy S8 are the ones I carry most often and I also use the HD15R as a charger for my S8 battery when I travel.
@@DarrenYeoYT You know you have a problem when all you really need at home is three torches tops, but end up with more than twenty and spend two days deciding which ones to bring on your vacation. 😀 Guilty as charged, Your Honour! 🙋♂

@Hyuga_Genza, Wurkkos HD15 is a very nice flashlight, I can see why you use it a lot, very handy with the dual bream setup, magnetic base etc. Lovely in the red version also.
Nice selection of lights with excellent commentary on their pros & cons. All very interesting choices. I travel with two lights, Emisar D3AA and Wurkkos TS10. They have gotten me through month long trips to Europe without carrying a charger.

Hahah. Your writing always comes across as so animated 😂 I brought along the PM1.F1 model - it's almost got the same range as NM1.F1 but double the output.. ! Thanks, I might see if Marco from 1lumen is free to meet up.
@@DarrenYeoYT Ta, mate. I'll take that as a compliment. When you're nearing sixty, you don't want to lose your wit.😀 So are you saying you've got two S8 torches in both emitter versions but prefer to bring the PM1.F1 for "tactical"reasons? 🤠💡
@@StratmanII you're far from losing your wit and sharpness mate. I find my mind tends to go off on tangents and I'm distracted easily. Yep, I have both versions but after using both I realise the extra candela of the NM1 isn't crucial at the ranges I use it at, and in close up confrontations, the larger hotspot may be advantageous aim wise.
I wish it had a momentary switch so I could also use it as a tactical light. I find it can accidentally turn on in my pocket somehow. So I keep it locked.
Thanks Mario! Yes the SK05 Pro has the upgraded SFT25R. I think the normal version has the SFT-12. But 2x 18650 config in a relatively small light like that is awesome.
Hi Darren if it's not too much trouble can you make a video about which Convoy flashlights can use batteries with USB C? Since batteries with USB ports are usually longer in size, maybe you can try installing a 18650 battery with USB C in a Convoy 21700 flashlight. I personally want to know if the Convoy S21G and M21B can use 18650/21700 batteries with USB C.
Hi mate, I don't have access to my collection right now but never had issues with fitting a large range of batteries in my convoy lights due to the tailspring design of most. Currently I'm carrying around a convoy S8 with a USB-C 18650 battery. No issues.
I was thinking of the same thing too! Sometimes I forget that I have an IF23 since it's my least used flashlight. The IF23 would be my choice in a travel flashlight if I'm limited to carrying just one. With an extra 18650 backup cell for emergency and the 18650 adapter sleeve, the entire kit should weigh less than three separate flashlights. 🙂 🔦🔦🔦
@@StratmanII I use mine a hell of a lot around the house. I wish the main LED was a warmer colour temp but I still use it a lot. I'm not sure why I like it so much, but it is versatile, has the 21700 battery for some stamina. I've resisted buying the IF24 as I don't want to go backwards to an 18650.

It's funny how even when you have 100+ lights, you still go back to the basics of what you need, and feels easy to carry.

Nice! The TS10 was another I was thinking of. So many choices out there.
TS10 great, but it can't have a key ring attached? I have a Sofirn SC13 attached to my keys, very handy little thing.
Nice Review. LEDLENSER ML4 is a good travel EDC Mini Lantern. Came in handy a few times when the power went out.
That's cool, I didn't know they made lanterns, let alone a mini one.
Those are some good edc lights! I need to try out that Convoy C8. That’s insane that it can throw up to 600 m for such a small light.
The S8 you mean? Yeah it's nuts. And only 15 bucks too. I like lights that punch above their weight class
@@DarrenYeoYT hey Darren,
Everybody keeps talking about this new SFT 25 LED. I’m waiting for convoy to start putting it in there C8 light.
I use a ts25 for travel and an olight baton 4 premium. Both have powerbank capabilities and timer mode.
Nice suggestions! Timer mode is important too if you don't have reliable access to electricity.

was hoping you include the wuben x2 😀😀good choices anyways.. awesome review mate 🔥🔥
Ah the X2 pro would be a contender but haven't reviewed that one yet. They might send me a sample next month.

I want the Acebeam terminator. Just gotta wait for a sale. I recently bought a Nebo edge 2k
They're pretty pricey due to the LEP module and lens setup!
Ordering an s8 today. What led would be the closest thing in distance compared to the nm1 that's not green?
Hmm, I would say the white version of the NM1. But I'd go for the white PM1 as it produces twice the amount of light and similar range.
But ... are they GAME-CHANGING?!?
Honourable mention to the Sofirn IF23, but I guess it's a little chunky compared to your other choices.
