@@JonathanWinbush Do you have any tips on how to get the turntable to become active in the sequencer? I created a new photo studio and added a turntable and it works great in PIE, but I can't seem to get it to work after I hit "prepare level sequence" and drag it in there. Thanks!!!
Finallyyyyyy. I got it as soon as it came out. It's fkn amazing. Love it. And it's getting better every time. What is up brotha... Happy you doing well. Cheers
@@JonathanWinbush yes. I think I am. I love this plugin but the name still not clicking, metashoot was way cool.. I wondered what happened? hahaahahahaha..
I may get it but would for sure if it had better options for outdoor cinematography, super especially if it was helpful with moving/walk and talk shots like laying dolly track splines to a character path, locking both lighting and camera to the path, things like bounce boards etc attached to a dolly. In that instance I could see it being amazingly useful. However the limitation of being primarily for studio photography, while neat, isn’t practical enough since I’m doing cinematics in a variety of locations. I do a lot of lighting on my stuff and often find a need to augment outdoor stuff. Having something that automatically tracks with the actors and has similar functionality to what I am used to in RW photography would be game changing. I hope the creator reads this and continues to build it, as I do think it’s very cool and has tremendous potential.
Yup I understand that for sure. You could use all the pieces separately like the cameras and rigs don't have to tie into the lighting studio then the target I'd imagine you could attach that to your character it's always following them or you can hand keyframe it as well
Looking nice. Can you also just use the Sequence(camera) and render settings on their own? So that it can render any scene with passes. I mean you already that is not optimized for outdoor scenes...
Yea for sure I guess it depends on what the scene focus is on but I mainly use and HDR, Directional Lights, and Exponential Height Fog. That'll usually get me in a good starting point
Hey just bought it! awesome plugin, just a noob question, I need to add a keyframe to the camera to move it and also to some other objects in the scene, how can I do that? where is the level sequence?
Thank you for this Video ! Have you a solution for the missing Stereoscopic 3D Camera (Not the VR who is so much distorthed optics) in UE 5 ? I want make Stereoscopic Side by Side Renders for Movies like Avatar vor the Big Screen, NOT for VR Occulus. In every CG Software is a Stereoscopic Rendering Camera available, in Blender, in Cinema 4d, in Redshift, in Octane... ...only in Unreal Engine i can not find this kind of Stereoscopic Rendering Cam.
Would be interesting to see how the light and other model scale in a gigantic scene. Sometimes I use not real-world scale objects, wonder how the light box look in this situation: can I still click on it with ease, or will it stay small and hard to click on?
Somethings that's bugging me is how I have to go to detail attribute panel to change light panel size, compared to just dragging a UI dot in the viewport to change light size in DCCs like C4D
They should of went from studio environment right up to creating solution for world environment. Horror, swamp, sunset, rain, wind, dusty... To compare the 350 price to some of the top sellers in ureal marketplace, you could get 2 or 3 of their assets for that price and that includes models with 100s of parts,8k textures etc.
Hey, Man! Awesome video as always. How do you think that this plugin holds up in comparison to the DMX packs (by SalvoNostrato) that are found in the marketplace? I'm wondering if it is worth it to spend a monthly fee as apposed to just buying the lights for a set price.
would you suggest this for set design images? Im looking to add Unreal to my workflow but I dont know much yet and I dont have a lot of time to get up to speed... I currently use twin motion and then do a lot of paint over in photoshop... The sets are usually quite detailed and often large, Im assuming you can increase the scale of those studio setups?
aayooo, this is reaaaally cool, even cooler than I expected!!!
Thanks for the shout out bro 🙏🏾🙏🏾
You made that!?! 😍 so cool Keyframe!
more keyframe and winbush collabs plz
@@LoganPinney yea that's me 😅! a friend of mine @cheriebrew did the design
Thanks so much for showcasing Atlux λ!! Amazing video 🙌🏽
Just purchased this and it is one of the coolest plugins I have ever seen for Unreal Engine. This is insane and so easy!
Glad you like it! I've been using it like crazy for setting up lighting it's hella simple to use

Yea it's solid big update from when it was Meta Shoot.
I'm good man you hitting NAB this year?

I agree with you, the attention to detail is just amazing :)
nerver hear about this plugin...nice discovery :) thanks my friend
Ya it was released last year as Metashoot but they redid the whole thing and rebranded it to Atlux but its pretty solid
Followed the link and played with the web app version. VERY cool!
Oh snap I forgot to mention the web version lol

Thank you Winbush.
This tool looks amazing indeed. Im Looking forward to put my hands in it .
Awesome man let me know what you think when you do 🤙🏿
Looks really promising! Is it compatible with custom startup projects? E.g I have one that has custom variables and a few other settings configured.
I'd guess so but I dont have any custom setups like that to test the waters that might be a better question for the dev
Yes, totally, you can add the plugin to any previous project and use the assets and interface in any level, not only on Atlux λ photo studios
Looking nice. Can you also just use the Sequence(camera) and render settings on their own? So that it can render any scene with passes. I mean you already that is not optimized for outdoor scenes...
Yup you can do that it really simplifies the rendering proceess
@@JonathanWinbushThanks. Sounds really helpful. 🤙
Very cool. Too bad it's not really capable of doing outdoor scenes. What method or workflow do you use for outdoor scenes?
Yea for sure I guess it depends on what the scene focus is on but I mainly use and HDR, Directional Lights, and Exponential Height Fog. That'll usually get me in a good starting point
Just what I was looking for, thanks Winbush. can you still add your own lights and sequences to the studio.
Yup 100% you can customize the lights too
@@JonathanWinbush Perfect. I just bought it. Thanks as ever. Always useful to have a tutorial. D
Amazing!!! I was just looking for something like this. Are the light fixtures hidden from the camera or do they render out?
Yea theres an option in the ligthts to where you can hide mesh if you dont want it in the final render
Great vid as always 💡

I'd hit up the discord I think Valle has some internal documented videos on getting started there
Very nice plug-in and tutorial in the 360 camera it does support pathracing?
I don't think it does
That comes onto my wishlit :) reeeeeeaaallly awesome Plugin!
Good choice!
How is this different from Lumen? I though Unreal Engine already had this capability built within itself.
Not sure I understand the question
It's a plugin for creating lighting setups
Thanks!
cool !! is there a trial version ?
I'm not sure if there is anymore I'd ask the dev in their discord

@@JonathanWinbush dope thanks
Where can I get that Tee please?
They sent it to me about 3 years ago in a package when I did work with them
$350 is insane for literally just a "save you a couple minutes" manually setting it up plugin
Usually when i get a plugin I make sure the gig I'm on will cover the cost that way I can use it as a tax write off as well
@@JonathanWinbush that's fair. Thanks for the explanation
it is expensive in some scenarios but for a perpetual license isn't that bad, some developers won't even let you purchase a perpetual license..

Agreed, I kept waiting to see something special here, but this seems like a very expensive plugin for what it does.
Special thanks man
Sir, how to make a perfume bottle inside fluid shader can you explain please

Honestly I've never used that pack I'm not sure
it is gonna much easier for Product visualization or Mograph
THE PRICE!!!! the price is insane just for a plugin, if these guys would add 360 stereo camera with lumen, that would be worth
It has a 360 camera I showed that at the end
@@JonathanWinbush its mono, I'm talking about stereo )
Is it free?
It's not
Who would buy a subscription for this ffs. Why does every little plug-ing need to be a subscription now.
You can sub if you only need it for a month or 2 or you can flat out buy a perpetual license as well. There's options there
