Lou still feels burned by Mick Jones taking the whole 100% (songwriting) ratio on "I want to know what love is" and he said Kelly Hansen during the 40th Reunion when they were on stage together just talked too much. Lou got no opportunity to talk and thank the audience for coming.

"Mr.Moonlight" is a GREAT album & yet it's overlooked by vast majority of fans - (Record Company's fault !!!!) You were lucky to be there Marisa, as I think by 1994 most folks thought they'd finished in the '80's I really DO wish that "Mr.Moonlight" had FAR more exposure, as there are so many GREAT tracks on there.... "White Lie", "Rain", "All I Need To Know", "Running The Risk", "Hole In My Soul" & "I Keep Hoping" ALL magnificent !!
I was there, i took Mick and the boys arround Teotihuacán and we drinked and had a good time in backstage; Mick got my chalchihuites, pretty stones (jadeit beads) for him, He gave me a bottle of wine with all the signals, I already missed that bottle.

I would be interested to see if he is a good teacher because what he has can’t be taught. yes he had good technique but that alone doesn’t make this range and power possible. this concert is nearly 20 years after he started touring and recording regularly, and he still has close to his boyhood range. but, i’m sure he still has a lot of good, usable, advice because of his life on the road.

Just saw "Foreigner" on the 70s Rock and Romance Cruise...Kelly Hanson sounds great, my wife loves them but she can't come to grips that at this point they are a tribute band. Mick is no longer touring, zero original members. Still entertaining but not "Foreigner" by any stretch.
Mark Schulman is the Drummer, Bruce Turgon - Bass, Jeff Jacobs - Keys, Mick Jones - Lead Guitar & Keys.. And Lou Gramm - Lead Singer. I'm Pretty Sure that the Sax/Guitar is Played by Tommy Gimbel (His Name Isn't in the End Credits)
The bass player was Bruce Turgon he's a Rochester native from NY like Lou. Bruce was the bass player in Black Sheep (with Lou) before Foreigner existed . Bruce was the main songwriting collaborator (with Lou) and bass player on Lous 2 solo albums READY OR NOT/LONG HARD LOOK and Bruce was also with Lou as the songwriting collaborator and bass, keyboard player in SHADOW KING. Lou brought Bruce to Foreigner in 1992 after Rick Wills left to join BAD COMPANY. So yep, the bass player was very good, he knew his business and he was very loyal to Lou . Too bad Foreigner wasn't loyal to Lou. He was Mick Jones( the lead guitar players ATM MACHINE ).
@@waltersimmons946 Thank you Walter for providing this important piece of information. I'm from Rochester, NY and had the very fortunate experience of meeting Lou in 2007. Foreigner is my all time favorite band. It was pretty cool that Lou brought Bruce into the band when Rick Wills left and yes Bruce was an exceptional bass player and song writer. As far as Lou being Micks personal ATM machine, there is a lot of truth behind that. I think in recent years all has been forgiven. I really hope they are soon enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame where they deserve to be.

Mark Schulman is the Drummer, Bruce Turgon - Bass, Jeff Jacobs - Keys, Mick Jones - Lead Guitar & Keys.. And Lou Gramm - Lead Singer. I'm Pretty Sure that the Sax/Guitar is Played by Tommy Gimbel (His Name Isn't in the End Credits)

@@HIGHLANDER555 I heard that Jones had put Hansen in charge of the band. Hansen does most of the interviews and he's basically the spokesman.

The bass player was Bruce Turgon he's a Rochester native from NY like Lou. Bruce was the bass player in Black Sheep (with Lou) before Foreigner existed . Bruce was the main songwriting collaborator (with Lou) and bass player on Lous 2 solo albums READY OR NOT/LONG HARD LOOK and Bruce was also with Lou as the songwriting collaborator and bass, keyboard player in SHADOW KING. Lou brought Bruce to Foreigner in 1992 after Rick Wills left to join BAD COMPANY. So yep, the bass player was very good, he knew his business and he was very loyal to Lou . Too bad Foreigner wasn't loyal to Lou. He was Mick Jones( the lead guitar players ATM MACHINE ).
@@waltersimmons946 Thank you Walter for providing this important piece of information. I'm from Rochester, NY and had the very fortunate experience of meeting Lou in 2007. Foreigner is my all time favorite band. It was pretty cool that Lou brought Bruce into the band when Rick Wills left and yes Bruce was an exceptional bass player and song writer. As far as Lou being Micks personal ATM machine, there is a lot of truth behind that. I think in recent years all has been forgiven. I really hope they are soon enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame where they deserve to be.

Drums sound terrible, too flat and cymbals everyone else sounds great.
