ശാരദാമ്മേ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രണാമം. ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ സിനിമയിൽ നസീർ സാറിന്റൊപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ച ഷീലയ്ക്ക് സാറിനോടൊരു പുച്ഛം. എന്നാൽ ശാലീന സുന്ദരി ശാരദാമ്മയോ. അതാണ് ആഭിജാത്യം. ഷീലയെ പോലുള്ളവർ കണ്ടുപഠിക്കണം ഈ അഭിനേത്രിയെ.

ശാരദാമ്മ നസിറിനെ അവസാനമായി കാണാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ ഉണ്ടായ മാനസിക പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ വിഷമം തോന്നി. നസിറിനോട് അത്രയൊന്നും താൽപ്പര്യം ഇല്ലാതിരുന്ന പഴയ കാലത്തിലെ മലയാളത്തിലെ ഒരു പ്രശസ്ത യുവ സംവിധായകൻ ഒരു നിർമാതാവ് നിർബന്ധിച്ചപ്പോൾ നസിറിനെ വെച്ച് ഒരു പടം ചെയ്തു. അതിനു ശേഷം വീണ്ടും 2 -3 പടങ്ങൾ കൂടി ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ സംവിധായകനോട് ഒരു ചോദ്യം ഉയർന്നു. The chat with Sarada , brought to the fore her memories , which has been narrated
by her in her own peculiar style , with so many anecdotal stories and thrilling experiences. The actress, who ruled the Film industry during the 70s, and bagged so many awards for her depiction of numerous characters on the silver screen , remained candid and straight forward while answering the queries. While talking about her mentor, the ever green hero, Late Prem nazir , she turned emotional, and spoke high about him essaying her reel life experiences with him. What ever Sharada spoke, in broken Malayalam, one could realise , came out straight from her heart.

When I stumbled up on this interview, I couldn't stop viewing it the entire length ; couldn't stop feeling that there can be quite a few universal attributes of real worth and virtuousness for humans ( politics or no politics ,at least as we perceive it! ) .
Actress Sharada, who had received Urvasi award at the age of 22 for the performance in the Malayalam film Thulabharam reminisces about Prem Nazir who reigned Malayalam cine stardom for many decades preceding 1980s and with a title like ' the evergreen' hero of Malayalam cinema .
Interestingly, one also meets Sharada here not as an accomplished artist but as an intelligent lay person who who would tell you best what could be the real meaning of 'virtue' !
