best way to clean it is to put it in reheat mode to 150F than let it sit open for 2 or so mins. Than wipe it with a damp but not dripping cloth and the grease etc wipe right off. If you do it cold the grease is impossible to remove without using some type of degreaser or serious elbow grease. i give mine a quick minute wipedown after use after im finished eating and doing the dishes so it doesnt get caked up and become harder to clean.
To all the people saying it is big. It is the size it is supposed to be. It is bigger than air fryer but an oven is still 4 times bigger than this thing. It is perfect for small family or single people. No reason to heat up 4 times the space if not needed. Yes I did measure my oven and do the math.
and it doesnt heat up your entire kitchen and home if you live ina smaller home which is a bonus in the summer time. Also cooks alot faster than my regular oven and preheats far faster and like you said there no reason for me to heat up an entire oven to cook myself a pizza or roast a salmon filet and some potatoes. less dishes to wash.
Great video…. Totally agree with all the points you have raised. Living in the UK the model without the thermometer was only available. I purchased it when I saw your first review. This is a fantastic oven and 6 months later no issues still works fine
Mine lasted for 13 months of almost daily use. There are no ninja certified repair centers and the best ninja would offer was 30% off a new unit. I did buy another one after doing without it for 10 months. It’s just a great appliance. I think the key is to keep it clean.

It seams all the functions have there own sound. So the toast function has its own but nothing stood out to me, but the toast taste good! Lol. 😊
Fantastic video! You are such a lovely person. I appreciated the way you covered all aspects of this oven to give us an honest review. I was thinking about getting one, now I KNOW I'm going to get one. LOL!!!
I was looking to get this but I am in a super small six by six kitchen and It would consume the entire countertop space I have in the kitchen. I would have to get a rolling cart for it. Its about twice the space that my toaster oven takes up. I also would not have enough clearance under my cabinets since they are mounted low. The other concern is that My current toaster oven often trips the breaker when heating up but is fine after I reset it. So these may be a series of concerns for certain condos, apartments or older buildings. Ugh - my husband did chicken wings ONE time and I have not been able to get the back fan area clean since. I am so mad. LOL We got it for Christmas and I was able to keep it practically sparkling for months until he did those darn wings.
you can take the rear assembly off from the back and get access to that area. jsut make sure to not tear any wires etc while scrubbin or leave any moisture back there once done.
Some people have ordered a splatter screen from Amazon to cover the fan. There's also a more rectangular one that covers more of the back. I haven't bought one yet, so I don't know how much it helps. This oven used to come with a screen to cover the fan, but it was discontinued for some reason.
I love my ninja foodi oven 10-1, however I must say that Toast-7 has never even made a bagel brown, let alone browned. I do toast-7 and then 2min broil. Oh well. I'm a big fan of air roast, and the insert thermometer. For the two of us, it is our primary oven.
Normally with a toaster oven I would say that there is no way I would scrub it down after every use. But this thing has such a huge glass door that it's easy to see inside so if you leave it dirty it makes the entire kitchen look dirty

My replacement Ninja XL oven from Ninja just died after 8 months. It will turn on, but when you press Start, it doesn’t start the cook cycle. I am beyond unhappy. Going to save for a Breville oven. I use my oven every day. 😢
I honestly think that the thermometer version is not necessary, save your money by getting the cheaper version. If you have a grill thermometer, just use that. I use a $30 one and works just fine.
Hi, thanks for the great review. I heard that you can't turn the fan off and the fan makes baking not perform well, also heard about the rusting problem inside the unit. can you please share your experience on these issues? thanks again.
Thanks for a awesome review. My two concerns were cleaning, which you addressed, and how much smoke during the cook which you didn't address. I live in Florida, we don't like to run the oven much indoors. Because of your informative review I am leaning towards the Ninja XL. its really a convection oven more than a air fryer. I wouldent place this under your standard toaster air fryer combo oven catagory but actual mini oven that has air fryer capability. can it do what a toaster oven and air fryer can yes but it can also cook whole chickens 14lb prime rib roasts bread loafs and things a standard oven can. And at 1800 watts it has the power and capability to do so.Pretty much every other toaster airfryer oven on the market is 1000w-1200w so this has upwards of 50% more power.
Can you turn the fan off even when cooking in all settings? Is the fan required for cooking in the other settings? I am not concerned about the cheese, I'm concerned about the seasonings blowing off
compared to a normal oven yes very lol. compared to toaster ovens no this thing draws 1800w of power which is on the higher end of the spectrum for these small appliances. However it does preheat and cook your food extremely fast so that may factor into efficiency

Hi Kelvin. Please contact the manufacturer to see if you are missing a piece or if you have a model that does not include the thermometer. I have found Ninja Kitchens' customer service to be very helpful. Thanks for watching
the perforated rack is for Broiling. like doing chops or steaks as for use on a counter... I would not use ANY toaster oven or airfryer oven UNDER an upper cabinet. There are usually codes for the distance between the underside of a cabinet and the surface of a heat source, so I'd have mine moved to the top of the island for use, or put it on a moveable kitchen cart like mine. As for cleaning there are products to clean out the inside.
Great points, Shelly. The instructions in the Ninja ovens do not recommend these for use when plugged in below the unit as it would be on an island. They recommend plugging into a wall outlet like the one beneath the cabinet. This is a safety precaution so passers-by don't snag the cord accidentally resulting in pulling the unit off the counter and causing burns. I'm showing the unit as recommended by the manufacturer for safety purposes but I totally understand what you are saying. Thanks for watching
My ninja foodi grill made perfect salmon it was hard to clean so I discard it. Researching to see if I should get another foodi grill or the 10 in 1 or the 12 in 1 oven. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated I mainly want perfectly cooked salmon. Soft flaky internal and crispy edges omg the foodi was amazing to me

Just got one, I hv a question the interior like looks like it should have a glass cover over it mine came with the bulb visible when looking into the unit is that Hotmail or was a cover not added st the factory? Thank you
When you start to cook, does the rod turn red? Mine does not turn red, also compared to Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer Oven, this is taking more time. Is that the setting or mine is a defective item?
That’s the point of it, it’s bigger to cook more while having a bit more function. If you don’t have an oven it’s great if you do don’t get it simple as that certain products are for certain demographics
Thanks for the video and great insights! I just got mine (w/o the thermometer) and am still learning. Do you know if I can use a stainless steel cleanser on the outside? It seems to stain easily, like any stainless steel appliance. Thanks!
You can cover the cooking pans in foil, but I don't really see how it would keep the splatters off the walls. You cannot cover any part of the oven itself in foil, including the crumb tray.
@@parnianpayvand8491 that's what I meant too. If you mean covering the food and not just lining your cooking dishes with it, then yes, it's fine to do, and it might keep splatters off the oven walls.
I would like a review of the new ninja oven Model # DCT401 because I was very disappointed with the model in your video due to the poor quality of its internal materials I love the ninja brand but this oven has terrible quality materials. That's why I would like an honest review of the new model to see if its materials have improved
You must have a better Ninja Foodi XL pro which I don't have probe. Mine didn't get above 425°. As for cleaning, yes. Can't use air fryer function because it will cause grease to splatter everywhere and it very hard to clean. Even though they say nonstick that doesn't matter because it's still hard to clean. After 6 months my Ninja Foodi didn't look like yours. Mine after that time wouldn't even get to 350° and was so dirty I threw it away. What a waste of money. I have a Breville pro now and it's also very hard to clean. I spend more time cleaning than cooking so guess better to use a regular oven. I might try COSORI ceramic oven as it looks better to clean which to me easy cleaning is better than cooking which most reviews don't cover. You are but even though I wiped down after cooking like they recommended it still was a waste of my time. Very over priced as Breville.
i watched some other influencer review about this ninja product, I've seen yours and its very positive, now if i relies on to The Last Honest Influencer review video about ninja foodi dt251 he said it cannot cook anything but chicken wings, it heat a pizza and will come out burnt on one side and it taste disgusting like with a hint of a factory oil, it cannot roast a beef or roast a whole chicken, and in your video you show you cooked the whole turkey without any issues. now whose is the honest one here?
Different people have different experiences and opinions. It's up to you to decide how to proceed with the information provided. Thank you for watching.

Oh no! Please call Ninja customer service for assistance. It may still be under warranty
La puerta del horno cierra bien con el cable del termómetro???
اذا سمحتي
انا لا اعرف ايها افضل لكي اشتريه هل الفرن ام القلايه الهوائيه ارجوكي ان تنصحيني
Does it have a rotisserie inside it?
No, this appliance does not have a rotisserie inside it. Thanks for watching
The noise could be from being near water as in the sink. Is it next to the sink in your home when in use?
the perforated rack is for Broiling. like doing chops or steaks as for use on a counter...

My ninja foodi grill made perfect salmon it was hard to clean so I discard it. Researching to see if I should get another foodi grill or the 10 in 1 or the 12 in 1 oven. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated I mainly want perfectly cooked salmon. Soft flaky internal and crispy edges omg the foodi was amazing to me
Hi Keisha. I have a new video comparing 3 different Ninja Ovens. I think the SP301 might fit your needs.
Please take a look at this video and let me know what you think

not many know
Salmon can be prepared perfectly in a steamer,
It is much better and healthier than cooking, frying, or grilling,
And all the values of the fish are preserved,
Any points on cleaning the inside
Just got one, I hv a question the interior like looks like it should have a glass cover over it mine came with the bulb visible when looking into the unit is that Hotmail or was a cover not added st the factory? Thank you
When you start to cook, does the rod turn red? Mine does not turn red, also compared to Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer Oven, this is taking more time. Is that the setting or mine is a defective item?
Sorry but my oven maybe better, I love ninja but this is like having another oven. I feel it is to big
That’s what I like about it, I don’t have dual ovens in my house so I can do some major cooking with this thing lol
Thanks!
Hi Chris. I haven't tried a stainless steel cleaner so I'm not sure. It should work but test a small area to be sure
Thanks so much for watching
Chris....use 00 Steele wool . Go with the grain of the Steele. Do not go in circles with the Steele wool.
Yes you can. On the exterior only.
Hello! Has anyone ever tried using two air fryer baskets in this? Is that possible if you can get an extra air fryer basket?
had mine just over a month only complaint it hard to clean the back of it unless you have any tips
Can you use aluminum foil around roasting dishes to prevent grease from splattering and covering the air fryer walls?
You can cover the cooking pans in foil, but I don't really see how it would keep the splatters off the walls. You cannot cover any part of the oven itself in foil, including the crumb tray.
@@angiepattillo3599 I mean AIR FRYER walls not kitchen walls!!
@@parnianpayvand8491 that's what I meant too. If you mean covering the food and not just lining your cooking dishes with it, then yes, it's fine to do, and it might keep splatters off the oven walls.
Beautiful unit but big as hell!😬😬
It is HUGE! I'm trying a smaller Ninja oven soon. I'll let you know all about it!
@@sweetsavant Excellent. Thanks!
What would you estimate is the cooking time comparable with a traditional oven?
Can I open the upper heat only or down heat only not together???
Does the smaller model 301 (I think) is also difficult to clean?
How I can buy it
When the house is cold it will make that noise
I got mine from Costco . Is it normal the air fryer fan to be so loud ?
Can you cook greasy food inside those oven bags? I guess that would resolve the problem with the cleaning!
Ninja says no.
Does it make a loud noise?
Interior fully stainless steel?
Can I use it as a microwave??
I am debating this vs the Breville. Tough call.
Can you grill with this?
What do u clean it with?
Nothing will clean it completely.
I would like a review of the new ninja oven Model # DCT401 because I was very disappointed with the model in your video due to the poor quality of its internal materials
I love the ninja brand but this oven has terrible quality materials. That's why I would like
an honest review of the new model to see if its materials have improved
Did you get really hot on the top?
