Hi, thanks for the video. Strangely, when I'm in magnification mode, my R5 leaves this mode instantly when I use autofocus, either with AF-ON or shutter button half-press. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure you're not in Servo AF mode. I may have forgotten to explicitly note this, but the magnifier only stays magnified when auto focus is run, when the AF system is set to one shot AF. In Servo Mode it automatically zooms back to 1x magnification on the assumption that you want to be able to track whatever it was you're focusing on.
