The 1.5 liter petrol creta is not much better than this car if you look at it from a performance perspective. I think that's the model this goes after.
Wats the point of releasing a bigger car at higher cost while interior space is kept same as brezza? Creta or seltos are anyday better options. But if mileage is the only priority, then this is the right option
Review was great , eagerly looking forward for a comparison video on which one should you consider buying . Also when can we expect the mild hybrid from Toyota to be reviewed.
Brezza with the same engine feels underwhelming, this one would be worse. Maruti cannot sell premium cars with such engines. Customers are okay with 17/18 kmpl also if the engine is powerful. A 1.5L Turbo with 140 hp is what required for this segment. All other competitor have it.
1.5 naturally aspirated engine is very reliable engine with long life, less maintenance. Connecting turbo to this engine wont do any better thats why suzuki dint do it now expect maybe later
It defeats the point of this mild hybrid. Of course some other company could provide whatever you want at extra cost but it's Maruti Suzuki unfortunately.
So in one word: Underpowered. maybe in the facelift, they will increase the power just like what tata did with harrier, Everything else looks pretty much sorted. One complaint is that at least in hybrid they should have provided better power and torque specs. Currently, all new 1500cc Maruti cars are not good highway performers. This will in fact push people towards the diesel version of Creta/seltos.
Maruti Suzuki has done it.... It has created a mo-ped. Ruined Brezza's look, and ruined Vitara performance. Strong hybrid is probably going to be pricey.
1.5 liter with 103 hp for such a vehicle, which is powering the smaller Brezza.. and the reviewer says that buy this because of hassle free ownership.. hehehe he should outright say go for Creta, Seltos and those who want driving pleasure go for Skoda VW... The engines from Toyota and Suzuki are seriously under powered...
Maruti ka Trump card hai mileage..kitna deti hai. so essentially maruti will never choose power over mileage. so this 1.5 na petrol engine will do business in all the future cars from brezza n upwards .
A good package let down by the unexciting and underwhelming mild hybrid engine....strong hybrid would be my pick...only meeded to know is Global NCAP ratings

if this starts at 12 lakhs then why shouldn't I choose seltos with 6 airbags and music system which starts at 10.5 lakhs?
Overall package is just good, wish if they could have provided some more power to the Grand Vitara. In future Maruti might think about more power।
Autocar >> Anything else
Sir. Please advise, which strong hybrid to go for : Toyota Hyryder or Maruti Grand Vitara?
If they manage to ex showroom price base model below 10 lac then only it is VFM otherwise above 10 lac and Creta diesel base will become preference..
Strong hybrid check. Mild hybrid check. Next looking forward to AWD review.

Ideal Indian family SUV.

wanna see the actual pricing to this. Especially to compare with the Creta SX variant (petrol and diesel) which provides more power.
What watch are you wearing, Nikhil? Very classy. Please do share.
Good looking car
Review was great , eagerly looking forward for a comparison video on which one should you consider buying . Also when can we expect the mild hybrid from Toyota to be reviewed.
We need a SUPER MEGA ULTRA comparo of these mid sized SUVs!
2M special....
Maruti Suzuki went from Espresso to this, commendable!

I find it very ironic that the Grand Vitara review from a few days ago has over 400k views while the Ferrari 296 review only has 60k views 😂
That's cause vitara is more relevant to indians!!!
Ironic? People buying Ferrari don’t waste time on RUclips 😂

The mild hybrid should have come with atleast a turbocharger. This should be a big miss from Suzuki and Toyota.
That will come at the cost of fuel efficiency

Its against the philosophy of MSIL

i wish there was a 6 and 7 seater varient as well
We have a winner! Best seller for sure.
Sir, which colour is better gor grand vitara, nexa blue or chestnut brown? Please reply ....
How can we check sigma battery charging icon ?
Why are you guys not including the bloopers at the end like done before.
compare Grand vitara with 1.5 NA petrol of competition, not with their Turbo petrol
Is skoda kushaq a good car?
GV or Hyryder? In terms of looks
Performance wise which one is good. Hyundai N Line or Vitara mild hybrid?

I'll b paying 17+ lac for a re modeled brezza?
More than that
Uk s cross 1.4 turbo has 22 kmpl.
9.7 sec for 0 to 100
Why not in india
Completely Underpowered yet Overpriced pathetic
Maruti soo scared to put a turbo on their cars !
It is an SUV version of XL6.
It'll be priced on par with XL6 or probably at a ₹50 K premium, variant to variant.
Maruti Suzuki has done it.... It has created a mo-ped. Ruined Brezza's look, and ruined Vitara performance. Strong hybrid is probably going to be pricey.
Expensive.
Anything other than Alto 800 is expensive.
We already know MS makes underpowered vehicles
Very Expensive
Expensive SCross.
Nice & Thanks :)

A Normal Headlamp could have looked better on this car.
With that engine and output, they should have chosen a different name and not Grand Vitara
If Grand vitara with 1.6 ddis engine 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Creta n seltos better then this variant
Maruti ka Trump card hai mileage..kitna deti hai. so essentially maruti will never choose power over mileage. so this 1.5 na petrol engine will do business in all the future cars from brezza n upwards .
Grand Vitara, the "Over Priced" SUV
Hardly overpriced over the Korean twins!
even base models are loaded in this car while rivals base models are barebones.

@@lemedico really? the stupid maruti engine for 18laks is not overpriced?…..one can get much more better engines at less than 9laks

5 sped gear box manual in a such size suv , what a joke, this is purely old uncle car
very very under powered....in long run it will be a No No
Grand vitara is no more grand
Bilkul S cross lagti h
Surprise package from Maruti Suzuki 😸 But still a Maruti in many ways 🥫
