Japanese ideology about cars is mostly about ferrying people from point A to point B. Hence, when it comes to making cars, they'll focus mostly on fuel economy as the entire Japan as a nation has always been concerned about energy crisis. So, they make sensible cars for the entire globe. Though there have been legendary exceptions like Supra, GTR Godzilla, Civic Type R, Lancer Evo, Acura NSX and LFA. Switching focus to Deutschland and they have the concept of Autobahn with no speed limits. Till date the Germans are known for their performance-oriented cars where fuel economy numbers are not much of a concern. Hence the difference is obvious. A case of power & fun to drive youngster package vs a sensible uncle friendly package 🤣🤣🤣🤣

As a reviewer, can you give scores in each metrics and generate an overall score like safety metrics will have higher number of points followed by reliability, mileage, power and performance, features .... So on....
Simple maths says buy a 4 cylinder natural aspirated mild variant of vitara rather would cost 14lac on road than going for a 3 cylinder turbo costs 15.5 on road, whatever VW and skoda have to say at the end of the day it's a 3 cylinder compressed engine which has to Handel a turbo charger the pressure will kill it before time does and the 1.5 lt is way too much expensive.

Not 10% down on performance, don't go by the max HP number, that number is misleading as it's quoted 92.5HP(Engine) + 59HP (EV). But at a time only one stays active, in bottom end EV power is used , that's why it's peppy off the line, but in mid end and top end they use the Engine, and that engine is not strong enough to push a car of this proportions comfortably. He compared it to the 1.5 Taigun, but I seriously think that the 1.0 Taigun would be faster that this car and also cheaper by 2-3L based on your SKU.
Engine is strong enough to push that size of car. It's the acceleration where it takes time which is something compromisable if you are family man otherwise for person who is looking for fun then 1.5 tsi obviously is there in taigun. So all boils down to your requirements.
I've driven a VW polo, a maruti Swift, Hyundai i20 and a 2007 maruti 800. While it was the slowest, the most rigid and the cheapest, on some roads driving the Maruti 800 was pure joy that no other car was able to match. In the end, when choosing a vehicle, always consider how it makes you feel.
Theres no sense for an enthusiast in India especially given the traffic conditions . Turbo power will hardly be utilised whereas the hybrid power and the excellent fuel economy it provides is the defining factor in indian conditions. So taigun in my view and majority of the buyers views dont make any sense as majority of Indians are going to tackle the traffic conditions and given the highway I think hybrid power and even the mild one is aptly sufficient.
Are you convincing to buy maruti for even highways? Dont make a template statement. taigun gt makes 0-100 in around 8 secs, try the same in maruti and then think about it. This video is made with so much passion. Taigun gets all the power and vitara has more bells and whistles.
So therefore europe has very high carbon emissions per capita

@@ram62836 Nah. The 1.5 has no major issues
A comparison I was looking for. Both the cars are different than the rest in the segment in their own unique ways. Loved your Vanilla vs Banana Split example.

Because the video was edited a few days before the announcement. Also, the GV hasn’t had a crash test yet.

That’s 1000% correct. It is a superb thing though.

Of course it does. It’s the exact same segment.
Lol what
So in what segment it wil be???

The way he presents feels and sound very similar to the old Top Gear ⚙️ days with the trio
In short ... put your money on the Vitara ! It’s 90% better on every front 10% down on performance front that too if put against the Taigun Gt .
@Land Auto's Shorts Wow, it seems like you're the one who knows nothing. What he said is right, combined horsepower isn't always active
@Land Auto's Shorts haha, I said the truth, you were just too salty to accept it. Also, work on your English. Good luck kiddo😙
Engine is strong enough to push that size of car. It's the acceleration where it takes time which is something compromisable if you are family man otherwise for person who is looking for fun then 1.5 tsi obviously is there in taigun.
So all boils down to your requirements.
@Land Auto's Shorts 😉
this is what i was expecting from your content there is no one lyk you how does such good car comparison on yt
Highways in India are improving and 0-100 is a measure of how soon you can lose bad drivers, long lorries in your way. Also, Safety ratings!.. oh people forget that when they compare with maruti.

In India, average speed is 80-90 kmph. Don't know why everybody needs high turbo power to go at 160 all the time. People might hate it but Maruti makes practical car for typical Indian driving conditions. Japanese makers strive for reliability for longevity.
Hi Shiva, but I would like to correct a misunderstanding here. You dont need high speeds to enjoy a high powered car. You can enjoy the massive torue that the engine produces even before you hit 50 kmph. All diesel car owners love this about their cars.

If only Maruti did the same thing what Honda is doing with their Hybrid engines. Honda uses Engine to power the motors for low end performance while Maruti does the opposite by using Motor to save the engine power .
