I was so mad about this car. They FINALLY made a gorgeous one after so many years and one year after this facelift, they kill it. The idiots at GM have no clue what they’re doing.
I agree totally!. Actually, this car was kind of a sleeper and I never noticed it until the great styling refresh... then when I was seriously going to buy one, they stop making it. I was mad at Cadillac over that ( for axing a car that they finally got perfect) I ended up buying a Lincoln. ' wish I had this car!
And to make matters worse, they not only still make this car for the Chinese market, they just came out with a new version of it that will never make it here :(
Had a 2017 this is my second 2026 I can't believe it though discontinued it who cares about China who wants to deal with people like that GM sell the people what they want not what you want for your Bing counters I had a 2017 chevy SS and the 214 chevy SS best cars ever have in a discontinued Jim you're idiots
Joe Hammond I certainly hope they do continue, they are incredible cars which deserve to be built! Especially after the refresh. But it seems like the market has shifted away from sedans but I’m sure that it isn’t permanent! Thank you for the comment Joe!
@@JW_Reviews I have a sneaking suspicion that it will take gas prices to shoot above $4/gal for base gas (like it was in 2008) before these automakers that are killing off all their sedans regret doing so...
I'm glad you like it! It is an absolutely beautiful looking car. It's probably my favorite looking modern Cadillac 😁 Thank you for watching the video, Luke!
Great review! This is my second CT6 and I love it. My wife and I have traveled through the states and it’s a great travel car. Plush, luxurious and comfortable. In a nutshell: it’s very quiet, smooth & fast.
No kidding! Do you usually use Supercruise during your trips? I wish more than anything that my car had it! I feel like it would make long road trips a breeze! And I'm so glad that you're happy with the CT6, I'd love to have one someday. Have you had to fix anything on the car and does it have a good amount of miles on it?
@@JW_Reviews I'm late relative to your review's origination but I just watched it and thought I'd chime in anyway. I've used Super Cruise for thousands of miles at this point and yes it's a fantastic road trip feature. The one unexpected limitation I've found is that during certain times of the day on North / South roads sunlight coming in over your shoulder will 'blow out' the steering column camera, preventing Super Cruise from engaging.
Very nice! I love how the CT6 looks fantastic in any trim level and no matter what options you get. Thank you so much for commenting and for watching the video, Rowen! 😁
As of now I haven't heard of the car having any problems. It'll be interesting to see how it'll do down the road but I think it'll be fine since it has an improved transmission and a relatively popular engine that probably won't develop any abnormal problems. Thank you for watching the video!
Absolutely stunning beautiful car, there is no better looking sedan made in the last 30 years,I'm a fan of the 1sr and 2nd generation CTS as well as the ats and the CT4 and CT5 are very nice cars
It is absolutely beautiful! I love seeing these CT6's in person as they look like nothing else on the road. And I agree, those are very nice cars too! Thank you so much for watching the videos 😁
Great review! I LOVE the polished chrome wheels with colored crests in the centers--they really compliment the look of this model. Cadillac ought to be still offering this model for the USA market!
117ColeH Thank you so much, Cole! I really appreciate it 😃 and those wheels were one of my favorite designs, the owner didn’t like the other wheel option that came with the car and he chose this one which was definitely a good choice! I couldn’t agree more, I wish that it was still offered as well. I that Cadillac is planning on making another full size sedan but that it’ll be fully electric. I think that because Cadillac wants to be a full electric brand and bring back actual names to their cars they decided to get rid of the CT6. I guess we’ll see what happens!
I have a 2017 CT6 and I love mine as well. The 2019-20 version is actually starting to grow on me a little although I still like how the 2016-18 model look a bit more.
Very nice!! I do actually prefer the grill treatment on the 2016-2018 CT6 Platinums. They stand out much more because of all the chrome which I like. Thank you for watching the video!
avincb You’re very welcome! I really appreciate the support and I’m especially happy that you enjoyed the video :) my goal my goal has always been to make the video as informative and as detailed as possible!
I do as well! I hope that Cadillac will continue to improve through the next decade. A good bit of their competition is making nicer and better performing cars (but I'll always prefer Cadillac). They definitely have the potential to be the best again! Thank you so much for the comment and for watching the video
Thank you for such a detailed review. Besides, You are very simple person, not a show of guy like many anchors. And cudos to the effort to reply every comment. Keep going man👍🏻. Love from India ❤️
You're very welcome! I really appreciate the support you've shown, it truly means a lot to me. And I enjoy talking to new people more than anything which makes every video more than worth it 😀Thank you so much for watching the video, stay safe and healthy during these troubling times
Fantastic video!! All my questions were answered, Feel you covered every detail, without being boring, I also appreciated your honesty, regarding features you liked and didn’t like. I actually agree with you on the dislikes. Thank you, this is an classic example of a perfect RUclips tutorial. I gave you A+
purpe34 That’s so kind of you, thank you so much purpe34!! When I watch other car reviews they don’t usually go over the little details that I want to learn about so my goal has always been to cover each car with as much detail as possible so that others will get the same experience that I crave for in a car review. I’m happy to learn that you got a lot out of the video, it makes me very happy :) thank you for the comment!
Excellent CT6 review. I've owned so many of the classic Cadillacs over the years, everything from the 69 Coupe Deville, both hardtop and convertable, 69 Eldorado, 71 Eldorado convertable, and aside from the lines and styling of those classic cars, I've always loved the innovative features. Fast forward to modern times when there is so much more to consider now when buying a car, such as fuel economy and features that have only to do with the times we're living in now, and wow! I was watching some XLR-V videos, as I'd like to pick one of those up, for obvious reasons; and I came across your review of the CT6. You had me at styling! So many newer cars either have a great rear look, but shoddy front design, or a great front look, but shoddy rear design; but not the CT6! I love the headlight and tail light design improvements that you discussed. Also, there are so many exceptional features on the inside, for comfort and safety, I was taken aback! Myself, having been a Cadillac lover since high school, when I traded a car to my mom for her 1969 Cadillac Coupe Deville, it is so exciting to see Cadillac being fined tuned to the pulse if the modern era, while keeping the class and innovation that Cadillac has been known for over the years. And your indepth knowledge of the features and benifits of the CT6 made your review a joy to watch. And your passion for the Cadillac brand reminds me of someone I know. And for me being a lover of Cadillac, I'm embarrased to say that I had no idea of all of the great innovations packed into the CT6. And yours is the first video that actually explained to me, how hands free steering workes; cool! I'm so impressed with this car, that I've now added it to my list of favirites to own. Thank you for taking the time out to educate me on what a great car the CT6 is, and I look forward to watching your future videos. :)
Thank you so so much, Michael! I love hearing about people's history with the Cadillac brand and it sounds like you've had a great one with all those nice classic Cadillac's you've owned! And I LOVE the XLR-V! It is actually my current dream car. I actually had the chance to review a 2009 non-v XLR and it was fantastic. I am convinced that the XLR-V is an even better car! I'd definitely recommend you watching that video 😁 And yes, the CT6 is a very impressive and technologically advanced car. This wasn't even the Platinum trim and it is impressive. The Platinum trim is my favorite and has even more standard features, including nice creature comforts for those in the rear including massaging, heated and cooled, and adjustable seats! I'm so glad to hear that you got so much out of the video, it really does make me very happy! I hope to hear from you in future videos, thanks again for watching!!
Excellent review I don't think there's anything you left out are any features you left on this car I wanted the V8 but you Make me feel comfortable getting a v6 thank you very much😊🙏🏽👍🏽👌🏽
Thank you very much! There definitely isn't anything wrong with the 3.6L V6 engine as it provides enough power and is refined enough for casual driving. There is also a more powerful 3.0TT V6 engine which I'm sure is even nicer. Although I would love having the V8 engine, these V6 engines are more practical and fuel efficient. Thank you for watching the video 😁
Great review! Very well done and you provided nice indepth information. I was looking for a review for this exact trim, so thanks! One small thing about your video- the sound seemed on the low end and muffled at times. Even with my volume all the way up, it was a bit hard to hear you at some points. Other than that, bravo! Looking forward to watching some of your other vids (this was my 1st).
Thank you very much! I'm glad you found it informative and it was helpful for what you're searching for 😁 Are you looking for one with Supercruise too? And unfortunately the sound is a problem, especially in these older videos. I'm hoping to get a clip-on mic someday which would be closer to me and make it easier to hear me. And I'm glad you're interested in watching more! Enjoy the channel 😁
@@JW_Reviews The SuperCruise is pretty sweet, I can't lie. But if I had a choice between that and the Panaray sound system, being an audiophile I'd have to choose that lol. I watched a few of your other videos and have subscribed. I look forward to seeing more content! Love your channel!
I totally understand that, I'm definitely a fan of both. (I especially like the name Panaray. It sounds classic but also luxurious) I did notice that you watched and commented in other videos too, I'm so glad you like the channel and are supporting it!
Thank you, James! I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. I agree, it is a shame that it's discontinued. But my hope is that there will be a replacement for the CT6 someday. Although if there is a replacement it'll probably be electric, I'd still like to see Cadillac build a somewhat affordable full size sedan again!
Bobby Kuntz There will certainly be more Cadillac videos coming :) as well as other cars hopefully! But the next video I’ll do this spring will hopefully be a 1976 Eldorado Convertible. Thank you so much for the support Bobby!
I hope so too. Cadillac going back to actual names soon is definitely a start! They really do need to do it, I think it'll help their brand image. They certainly have the potential to be a success. Thank you for commenting, Ed!
This is a beautiful car! The front end is very sinister looking but also luxurious! And that's a very good point about the ELR. It is very underrated. I think it is the best looking modern coupe that Cadillac has made! It's a shame there weren't many made ☹️ Thank you for watching the video!
Pipon amyriel I’d certainly love to! Is that the new generation Yukon Denali you’d like to see? And I’m talking with a “soon to be” owner of a C8 corvette to try and review. We’ll see if it works out, I’ll try my best! :)
A real aspirational vehicle, love it - so sorry Cadillac dropped it. Sure hope they come out with more "cars", I'm not into SUV's. Thanks for a nice review
Thank you, Martin! Yes, I'm very sad that Cadillac dropped it as well. I wouldn't be surprised if a similar electric sedan comes someday, but I still like the CT6 very much. We''ll see what happens though! Thank you for watching the video 😁
My 2st car was a Cadillac. The best 1 ever made. 65 coupe. I own 1 now & love it. The CT6 is hot. The only thing I wish Cadillac would do is bring back the old crest & some of the names from the past. Deville, Brougham, coupe.
Wow! Very nice, Cadillacs of the 60's were absolutely beautiful inside and out. And I agree, this is a very good looking vehicle! Maybe in the future Cadillac will bring back classic names. The good thing is that they are at least bringing new names to their cars. It would be kind of neat if they had an option to put the older Cadillac emblem on the cars! Thank you so much for commenting and watching the video, Tonia 😀
Thank you, Charly! I really appreciate the support, I try to work hard to make as informative and detailed reviews as possible. And I'm extremely excited to see that the video has reached Spain!!! 😁
James Wasylyshyn makes the most informative videos. I have watched all of them numerous times and learn new things. So proud of you. Looking forward to your next review!
Beautiful design. My only exterior change would be to integrate the tail pipes so they aren’t as noticeable. You want a luxurious, sophisticated look and a bit of sportiness when driving a flagship luxury sedan. I always say their new cars looks like an old Cadillac impregnated a new Benz 😂
It truly is beautiful! That's a good point, I never thought of it that way. It makes sense to hide the pipes on the luxurious models but maybe to have them out for the sporty ones! Thank you very much for commenting and watching the video, Cease 😁
Rudy Melendrez The CT5 certainly has a different look and I definitely will have to get used to it. I just hope that it’ll be a success so Cadillac won’t discontinue it!
CaptainWafflez That’s the goal! It’s actually one of my favorite things to do when making these videos, I think it’s very fun to do. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment 😃
Very nice! This is one of my dream cars too, and I was really disappointed that it was discontinued... But they will go down in value and I'm sure that you'll be able to afford one someday soon! Thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment. I appreciate the support! 😁
I actually like this gear shifter better than the one that they’re putting in everything. This one just looks seeker than the one in the CT5, XT5/XT6, and Escalade. They’re all better than the first generation XT5’s gear selector.
Very good! I actually didn't realize this one was different from the rest, I knew that before the refresh it was a different selector that was bigger than this one, but I'm glad that you like it! The first gen XT5 selector does seem confusing, I'm glad they updated it with its latest refresh. Thank you for watching the video 😀
This is a wild car. Love how it looks. Tail lights, headlights both like a V and lowered to the ground. Long and wide. It's a cool car but it's expensive.
@@JW_Reviews I have a cts 2016 vsport, had it for 5 years. Upgraded the spoiler/body kit. Exhuast. Etc. Looks like a cts-V. Just half the power. The 16-19 rendition of CTS was very beautiful! Eventually i need a new car, and indeed this is what I keep seeing on the road that is so beautiful the 2019 and up CT6 not to be confused with the earlier models. The newer versions got the look spot on.
I love this car I have a premium luxury white ct6 which has carbon fiber instead of wood on interior mine is a 2017 which I just bought with only 14k I was going to get a 19 for same price with 10k more miles but didn’t due to the fact I don’t like how the front bumpers are pushed in on the 19 and 20 models everything else though is great watching your vid is kind of making me regret not getting that one now being black is the only color that you don’t notice the presses in bumper on newer ones but I really wanted a white car for once being I always get black cars great vid definitely my favorite on the ct6 I really get so many complaints on it and don’t know how more people aren’t buying them so many people are saying such good things about them I really hope they change the bumper on the 2021 version though I would definitely consider trading mine in for one if that’s the case thank you for taking your time out to really show us an in-depth video on one of my favorite cars Cadillac really made a comeback when they made this in 16
Thank you very much Michael! And I wouldn't regret your decision at all, it sounds like you've got yourself a very nice looking car. The older CT6's have a very classy style that isn't as aggressive or as "in your face" like the newer ones. Unfortunately, the CT6 is now discontinued so I'm afraid we won't see any more updates to it... However, Cadillac could very well make an electric version of the car and I'm sure it would have new looks too! I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. Thank you for leaving the comment and for watching! I really appreciate it 😁
I couldn't agree with you more! There are so few cars that are built with softness and luxury in mind. I think that most people have forgotten what a comfortable car should feel like. They seem to have confused "sportiness" with "Comfort" because just about every car has hard seats with terrible suspension. Maybe someday people will be knocked back to their senses. What was ever wrong with having a soft car? I know of plenty of people my age who would want one!
Sad to see this vehicle go, but I am hopeful the new flagship will be even better ... rear power window shades would be nice ... as well as a long-wheelbase version.
I completely agree! I'm sure that the flagship will be leaps and bounds better especially considering its rumored $200,000 price tag. Hopefully we'll see the Celestiq soon and its unique features! I am also hopeful that there will be another car that'll be similar to the CT6 in price though because few people will be able to afford the Celestiq. We'll have to wait and see. Thank you for watching the video, Trey!
James Wasylyshyn I understand why they and Lincoln can cut in both this and the lack of an air suspension on top of the dampening controls, but I still disagree given that it’s designated as their flagship. Yes they are in between the 5/7 series and E/S Class, but believe if both manufactures had gone a bit further we might have seen a different outcome. Nonetheless, I’m very happy with both vehicles and the direction they are going. Would like them to continue the RWD/AWD platform and possible V8
I am glad to know this car is more of a luxury car. Because of the nomenclature I thought this car was more of a sports car. Thank you very much for the great review.
I love this car so much James. Like you, it's my favorite and I really wanted to buy one but I could not find one with low enough miles in my price range. Just finding one for sale is a challenge in itself. Awesome video as always!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it so much 😁 That's a good point, owning discontinued luxury cars makes them very unique and fascinating. Thanks for commenting and for watching the video!
*I came for the car review..but stayed for the cute guy with the awesome personality! Thanks for a great review. I plan on buying a platinum edition when it depreciates in a couple of years. And I totally agree the exterior refresh made a huge difference. Take care my dude!* 😉👍
That's a fantastic idea to buy a platinum after a few years! I've been watching prices on those lower through the years and it makes the car such a fantastic bargain. Let me know if you get that car!! Thank you so much for watching the video 😁
@@JW_Reviews Thanks James and will do! It's going to be a fight between a preowned Mercedes Benz S550 and the Cadillac CT6 Platinum. Both have wonderful self-driving programs..and while the MB is smoother with a more powerful and refined engine..the Cadillac offers the best bang for the buck features wise. So it's going to be a hard decision..lol. Stay well buddy! 😉
Thats awesome, Gar! I really appreciate that and it makes me so happy to hear that you enjoy the reviews so much 😁I hope to hear from you again in some of my upcoming videos!
We have a lot of Wasylyshyns in Western Ukraine. Wasylyshyn means a son of Wasyl (Vasyl). it comes from Greek Basileus. And Basileus means "king", "emperor". Wishing you to be a king on RUclips among car reviewers. :-)
That's right! I didn't know there were so many although I've heard of a few others. Thank you so much, we'll see how far I get haha 😆do you live in Ukraine?
This is the independent rear suspension and rear wheel drive car that Cadillac couldn't produce in the 1970's and BMW and Mercedes surpassed them. Fortunately, Bob Lutz came to Cadillac in the early 2000's and brought the GM Holden independent suspension from Australia and produced a sedan to compete with the Germans. He was a maverick like Lee Iaccoca and that is what GM needed.
Thank you! I unfortunately didn't show it while driving at night time (which I wish I would have, maybe next time haha) but I do show what the night vision screen looks like while the car is stationary at about the 14:12 mark if you're interested. Thanks for watching the video!
Very good review. I have watched quite a few. I like how you really enjoyed the car. It was so nice to share that aspect. Most reasons why we buy cars, especially at this price point is because we just ‘like’ what is happening with the vehicle in a sensory way. It is not alway about the about the numbers, technicals and the common sense facts. I am spending 90 K. I want to know if I will enjoy the vehicle. You convinced me that I will. Thanks!
Thank you so much, Weha Tisot! This car is certainly very enjoyable and very special to me. Although I may be a little biased to like it because the CT6 has been my dream car for a long time, I feel like this is a car that anyone can appreciate. It's unique, beautiful, and a well-rounded car with many capabilities. I'm sure you'll come to love your new car and I'm beyond happy to hear that I had a part in it :) thank you again for commenting, it really means a ton to me!
Me too! I think it'll help differentiate the vehicle and I think there are a lot of people that would like to have a diesel. It's too bad that the big SUV models have been delayed... I was hoping to see some on the road soon!
It is my all time favorite car brand too 😀 Certainly nothing like them! I'll see what I can do about those retro models, I may be able to do some more models from the 70's. We'll see what happens! Thank you so much for watching the video!
James Wasylyshyn great review and thanks for the reply... beautiful new CT6 my favorite vehicle with the CT5 and CT4 second and third ... what I meant about a retro model was for Cadillac to make new a retro Coupe de Ville ... would be amazing but unlikely to see that happen.
Of course! I'm glad to hear you like them so much, I like their sedans a lot. I also like the new Escalade and would love to see its interior in the next sedans! Do you like the Escalade as well? Ah that would be neat for them to do but unfortunately it likely wont :(
Only thing I would have done different is added an indefinite mode to the engine turn on/off switch so you wouldn't have to re-engage it every time you stopped and started the car..other than that ??Everything else was near perfect..Great car with the looks to match! 👍
Exactly, that is one of my only complaints with this car. It is very annoying to have to turn it off every time the car is started. Luckily lots of other Cadillacs have moved over to a permanent switch but the CT6 really missed out! Thank you, it really is a fantastic car. Thank you again for watching!
I couldn't agree more, I especially like the Blackwing engine and I very much wish that it was used in more of Cadillacs vehicles, especially this one! Hopefully Cadillac will replace the CT6 with another sedan soon, which I think they will do at some point. But I'll definitely miss this car! Thank you very much for the comment and for watching the video :)
Nice video but, Newton meters has nothing to with electric torque output. It's the torque of the car measured in Newton meteres regardles if it's gasoline, diesel, or electric. Newton meters is the measurement used on all European vehicles.
Interesting, good to know! Is it used more prevalently on electric vehicles? I unfortunately don't know as much about Newton Meters as I should, this was the first car I have ever seen that uses it.
Huston McKinney Thank you so much, Huston! I’m very happy that you liked the video and thank you so much for commenting. I’ll be sure to create and upload new videos as fast as I can!
This looks great, cuz! Do you only review Cadillacs? My breath was taken away when driving behind a new Tesla 100 sedan the other day. I would love to get a look at that!
Teresa G Thank you very much Theresa! Is this Teresa Grodi? It’s great to hear from you! And I’ll review anything unique that I can get my hands on, but so far they’ve just been Cadillacs haha. I’ll certainly review a Tesla 100 if I get the chance to, they’re very nice cars :)
@@JW_Reviews Yes, it's Teresa Grodi! Aunt Annie shared the video via email :) I absolutely love beautiful cars and planes. I look forward to you videos!
Wow! That is a very hefty price. That probably makes the car uncompetitive unless if its competitors also are shipped there and have big price increases. Is the Platinum trim level also much more expensive?
Diesel Buddys at Geissler Transporte Oh yeah, Cadillac has certainly changed a lot in the last 20 years 😂 believe me, it certainly takes me a long time to get used to new luxury cars because it’s so different from the Fleetwood Limited. Thank you so much, Roger. I really do appreciate it :) have a happy new year and enjoy your STS! Also, I think it’s so cool that you have an STS in Germany! There must not be very many new Cadillacs there but especially not many from the age of yours! Do you have trouble finding parts for it?
Thank you for the great video. I just purchased a 2020 CT6 premium. Did I hear you correctly when you were describing super cruise that you need to have On-Star in order to use it?
I agree! Cadillac has been at the tip of the spear for just about any new technology or experiment that GM has had for quite some time now. Since the brand is now known for making sporty, exciting, and luxurious cars, the idea of Cadillac going electric makes all the more sense to me. I think it'll even draw in new buyers from other brands and it'll be the perfect opportunity to make Cadillac better than it has ever been. Although their plans could fail, I'm certainly interested to see what happens! Thank you so much for watching the video 😁
@@gb2828 Give it tradational styling but make it electric. Imagine a 1966 Fleetwood but with modern technology and electric power...that would be amazing.
Seve Sellors Thank you very much, Seve! That makes me so happy that you enjoy watching the video 😃 it is a fantastic color for this car, it’s very sinister but also luxurious looking!
Seve Sellors No kidding! Were many CT6’s sold in the UK? I always heard that Cadillac wasn’t a huge seller but I’m not sure if it was true or not. Do you know what model sold the best?
James Wasylyshyn we never sold too many as we kept changing policy, we also sold Corvettes but left hand and Pontiac Trans am's. This new CT6 I think would sell better because it has an European look and the technology and quality looks great. It's a shame GM have pulled out of the European market having sold Vauxhall and Opel. Only the Ford Mustang is available although I believe you can get the new Corvette.
Seve Sellors Wow that’s so interesting to me! I figured they wouldn’t be very high sellers considering that they were left hand drive and probably harder to drive because of it. And it is very European! It is a big shame but I’m thinking that with Cadillac going electric they may try Europe again considering how popular electric cars are over there. The next ten years will bring some interesting stuff! And you’re right about the corvette and mustang. I’m curious how the corvette will fare!
Seve Sellors Actually, how do you think the new corvette will sell? I’m guessing it’ll be more than previous generations. I hope it’ll end up being a success!
James Wasylyshyn yes new Corvette could do well because it's rare and different. American cars are a cult here, so although not huge sales there are people who want an American car. Interesting how the SUV and pick ups have become popular too. We always joked that what happens in the US happens here ten years later! Keep up the great videos your presentation is excellent!
I have to say...Cadillac is coming up with nice sedans again. I wish they didnt get rid of the XTS and just revamped it to an XT8 and made it flagship...but the more I look at Cadillac its making German sedans look more unappealing. I'll wait to see reliability outcome in a year.
They certainly have been! And I haven't thought of making the XTS a flagship, although it might not be big enough it has a unique shape to it and I can see it being a top of the line model. And we'll see what reliability will be, I think it'll be much better than the 2016-2018 models. Thank you so much for watching the video!
Oh my goodness, that is much more expensive! But that makes sense considering how far the car has to be shipped to reach you. The sad thing is that it would be the same price as a Platinum trim in the U.S.! I can't imagine how much that would cost in Finland 😅Thank you so much for watching the video, Kaj! 😀
12krinson Thank you so much! I’m happy to hear that you really liked the review :) unfortunately it was actually the premium luxury trim and I so wish it was the platinum because then it would have had the Blackwing V8! Oh well, maybe next time ;)
Thank so much for this review. Fantastic. The only thing I think is a let down is the trunk space. This is a fullsized car. The trunk should be at least 16.6 cubic feet. The trunk should be larger. This car has a lot of features. Most impressive. It is a shame they( GM) only sell this in China now. They redesigned it as well.
Thank you Kenny! It definitely looks pretty awesome. I think the wheels really set off the dark color of the car! Thank you for commenting and watching the video :)
And it is a pity they’re discontinuing them... my hope is that they’ll bring back another full size sedan someday. Even if it’s electric I’ll be happy they at least have one!

Cadillac needs to continue making sedans, this one is amazing.

This is big chaotic energy
Ummm..How fast ??! lol!
CADILLAC IS DOING THEIR OWN THING FROM OTHER CARS AND TRUCKS AND SUVS. KEEP CONTINUING DOING Y'ALL THING CADILLAC. I LOVE IT
They certainly are!! Thank you so much for the support and for watching the video, Jamel :)
@@JW_Reviews YOUR ARE VERY WELCOME
A NEW ERA OF ELEGANCE!

I have a 2019 premium luxury that looks just like this one, I love it.
Very nice! I love how the CT6 looks fantastic in any trim level and no matter what options you get. Thank you so much for commenting and for watching the video, Rowen! 😁
Is it reliable ?
As of now I haven't heard of the car having any problems. It'll be interesting to see how it'll do down the road but I think it'll be fine since it has an improved transmission and a relatively popular engine that probably won't develop any abnormal problems. Thank you for watching the video!
hey do you have adaptive cruise control
The front-end redesign looks fantastic.
I want to be like you
I like the ct6 I love a platinum version
Great review thanks for showing the Cadillac Love!!! I have a 2016 ct6 and I LOVE IT!!! LONG LIVE CADDY!!!!

Your was the "most detailed and information review on the 2020 CT6 I have seen. Thank you.
avincb You’re very welcome! I really appreciate the support and I’m especially happy that you enjoyed the video :) my goal my goal has always been to make the video as informative and as detailed as possible!
I have a 2017 CT6 with 13k miles for sale in Boston.
I prefer Cadillac over Mercedes, BMW and Audi, the ride and sense of luxury spoiled me.
Great video! Really amazed by the ability of the car’s cameras to create a top-down rendering of the car’s position! Keep up the good work
Tabitha Escalante Yeah, it’s some pretty impressive stuff! Thank you so much Tabitha 😊
Cadillac should hire you to demo their cars! Great job. You didn't miss a trick.
Thank you!! That would definitely be an awesome job that I'd love to do 😁
Excellent review I don't think there's anything you left out are any features you left on this car I wanted the V8 but you Make me feel comfortable getting a v6 thank you very much😊🙏🏽👍🏽👌🏽
Thank you very much!
Great review....Love the car...Pathetic that GM decided to discontinue this car. They should have given it more of a chance...
If u keep coming out with Cadillac videos u have got a new subscriber.
Bobby Kuntz There will certainly be more Cadillac videos coming :) as well as other cars hopefully! But the next video I’ll do this spring will hopefully be a 1976 Eldorado Convertible. Thank you so much for the support Bobby!
i hope and pray that Cadillac will bring back the deville and the fleetwood and all the big luxury sedans and this car i see as the begging of that .
I hope so too. Cadillac going back to actual names soon is definitely a start! They really do need to do it, I think it'll help their brand image. They certainly have the potential to be a success. Thank you for commenting, Ed!
Gorgeous car! I really love Cadillacs. The ELR is amazing.
This is a beautiful car! The front end is very sinister looking but also luxurious! And that's a very good point about the ELR. It is very underrated. I think it is the best looking modern coupe that Cadillac has made! It's a shame there weren't many made ☹️ Thank you for watching the video!
Awesome car! thanks to Cadillac for creating this car again good job Cadillac!!
Pipon amyriel It certainly is a brilliant car! It’s definitely one that I’d love to have someday 😜 thank you for the comment Pipon!
Can you review GMC Denali Yukon Denali 2020 and brand new corvette?

The biggest problem Cadillac has is the dealership they charge you 110 an hour for 25 dollar an hour service.
Certainly not an easy price to pay... too bad!
This looks so much better than the ct5 and ct4
I agree! I am a huge fan of the looks of the CT6. Not a single bad line or angle!

MarkWasylyshyn Thank you so so much dad, it makes me so happy that you love to watch them so much 😊
Beautiful design.
This car looks way better then the CT5.
Rudy Melendrez I like the CT5 but I have to admit that the CT6 is by far the best looking :)
@@JW_Reviews looks like a new Honda Accord.

I couldn't agree with you more, I love the looks of this car 😎 Thank you so much for watching the video!
I really appreciate it 😁
I wish they make a pure luxury car again with a soft ride. I know there's a market for that and not just me
I couldn't agree with you more!
Bring back Fleetwood go all out luxury and focus on handling and smoth ride i think people wood love smothing like that
I think the buicks are pretty comfortable
My #1 choice of a luxury sedan. Well done, Cadillac !!
Thank you so much! It would be my choice as well 😄
Agreed. I wish GM brought back a Chevrolet RWD version - either the Caprice or the Impala.
Maybe someday! It would be awesome if GM made an Impala similar to this, I would definitely like it a lot. Thank you for watching the video, Mark!

Beautiful car, nicest Cadillac I see in quite a few years. And a handsome young otter to match.
I'm glad you like the car so much! Thank you for watching the video 😁
Great video with a ton of very useful info.. I just wish you would have shown the night vision feature.
Thank you! I unfortunately didn't show it while driving at night time (which I wish I would have, maybe next time haha) but I do show what the night vision screen looks like while the car is stationary at about the 14:12 mark if you're interested. Thanks for watching the video!
That is definitely a nice ass car and you did a awesome job pointing out a lot of the details. ✌🏾
Thank you so much!! I'm glad that you liked the car and the video 😁
Ah that would be neat for them to do but unfortunately it likely wont :(
What a car so modern and the looks say it all. Love the Chrome wheels and what a review you have done.
Yeah GMC yukon Denali 2020 is the latest GMC car i will be so excited to wait your review on those 2 cars 😊
Pipon amyriel Great! I’ll certainly try to bring both of those to you as soon as I can!
Such a shame they won't be selling this car in the US anymore. Especially when paired with the 3.0 twin turbo or the Blackwing V8.
This is a beautiful Cadillac. I wish Cadillac will bring back the big car to compete with the Mercedes SEL 500, Audi A8, BMW 7 series.
Very nice and detailed video. Please keep the videos coming!!

The price in Japan is about $ 100,000.

I'm very, very glad you enjoyed both of the videos. Thank you for the support and for watching :)
....ooooohhhh man.... its so different to my 99 STS :D GREAT JOB James....thanks for sharing with us;) HAPPY NEW YEAR from Germany.....Roger
Man this whip is cold!!!!
I'm glad you like it! Thanks for watching the video!
Thank you for the great video. I just purchased a 2020 CT6 premium. Did I hear you correctly when you were describing super cruise that you need to have On-Star in order to use it?
Thank you very much for this comprehensive and time-worth video 😄.
Keep up the good work!
You're very welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the support and for watching the video, Humaid 😀
James Wasylyshyn
You are most welcome and keep up the good work 👍🏻😄
Cadillac would be the perfect brand for going all electric.
Never - tradition should guide Cadillac - the thought of electric cars makes me cringe !!
@@gb2828 right
@@gb2828 Give it tradational styling but make it electric. Imagine a 1966 Fleetwood but with modern technology and electric power...that would be amazing.
Just watched the video again great review James and I do like this car! Looks mean in black.
Seve Sellors Thank you very much, Seve! That makes me so happy that you enjoy watching the video 😃 it is a fantastic color for this car, it’s very sinister but also luxurious looking!
The ct5 in black is bad ass as well.
Great car used sell them in the U.K. When I worked for GM.
Standard of the World!
euphrates556 Yes sir! 😎 thank you for watching!

Great job James! Always enjoy your videos.
I'm so glad you like all the videos 😁
Awesome review. Thanks alot. From Iran
Thank you so much! I appreciate the support and I’m very glad that you enjoyed the review 😀
Thank you so much James i hope your channel will be growing great 😊
Pipon amyriel You’re very welcome! I hope so too, thank you 😃
My next car without a doubt.
Very nice! I'd love to own a CT6 one day 😎 Thanks for watching the video, Joel!
I agree,it is a fantastic car!Unfortunately, here in Finland that car would cost at least 100 000$....
I like the new badging sans wreath 👍. Great video!
Thank you so much, Lon! I appreciate the support 😁
Nice to have this guy as a car valet as well...
There you go! I'd love to be one as long as I get to drive an awesome car haha
This the best review on the Cadillac ct6 platinum
12krinson Thank you so much! I’m happy to hear that you really liked the review :) unfortunately it was actually the premium luxury trim and I so wish it was the platinum because then it would have had the Blackwing V8! Oh well, maybe next time ;)
@@JW_Reviews appreciate you taking your time do it maybe next time with the platinum trim
12krinson If I can find one I’ll certainly make a video on it 😃
Thank so much for this review. Fantastic. The only thing I think is a let down is the trunk space. This is a fullsized car. The trunk should be at least 16.6 cubic feet. The trunk should be larger. This car has a lot of features. Most impressive. It is a shame they( GM) only sell this in China now. They redesigned it as well.
When I upgrade from my CT6, this is gonna be it.
I enjoy your content and your production quality.... nice work!
This one is SHARP!
Thank you Kenny! It definitely looks pretty awesome. I think the wheels really set off the dark color of the car! Thank you for commenting and watching the video :)
Outstanding very detailed review. Great job!
One of my dream cars.
Mr. Baghdad One of mine as well! It’s an excellent car. Thank you so much for the comment :)
And it is a pity they’re discontinuing them... my hope is that they’ll bring back another full size sedan someday. Even if it’s electric I’ll be happy they at least have one!
