I loved part 2, but man after all this depressing sadness i just want ellie to have some kind of joy and peace. Thats why i need part 3. Leaving ellies storie open after she lost everything is cruel imo.
Part 2 story was dogshit Neil ruined all the good work other directors did he is nothing but a scumbag who lied and took others credit.

Part 2 she was over already from that circle of revenge. I hope she can find way to get off from that harsh PTSD
I fucking wish man, that would be so wholesome and sweet but Druckmann does not play around with realistic. He makes it painful and real but I appreciate it because not everybody is meant for a happy ending. Look at what he was willing to do to Joel, his star father figure, the main character to the first game. I hate to say it but I think Ellie will die in this 3rd game, either that or my hopeful side thinks that maybe she goes around helping people survive and building community with surrounding areas to defeat the infection. However, I'm not hopeful but I'd like to see her go with peace.
I believe joel made the right decision in part one. It had been 20 years since the outbreak. Where did the doctor claiming he could do this miracle get his training? Abbie looked to be around 16 when you play her as a child helping her father. He looked 30ish. I dont think he possessed the skills he claimed he did and was just going to be killing Ellie in his attempt.
It was still a chance in a desperate situation. Abby's father must been atleast 40, makes no sense otherwise :D
I mean I think he had the training but Marlene literally says Ellie would make a vaccine, not cure. As Marlene points out too Ellie can still get mauled by clickers or killed by humans. All the vaccine would've done would prevent small bites being a problem, infect would still be a problem till they were all killed. I dont think the vaccine wouldve helped.

@@maxrdev703 I completely agree with you! At that point the vaccine would be entirely pointless to create. In the right direction? Maybe, but what is the point of killing hundreds of candidates for 1 cure. How many people would be left after 20 years anyhow? What is the point of a cure if you have to commit a genocide to create it, even when the population is already in the balance? I without a doubt do not believe a cure or vaccine would do anything for the world left over, it is a wild goose chase at this point in the apocalypse. 20 years and nobody thought to try this method out before??? I call bullshit, the world governments would not hesitate to tear apart patient 0 or the first person to be immune to this infection because I doubt that Ellie is the first or last immune. Cordyceps existed in their world before it mutated. There is absolutely no way that a government official somewhere did not try that method before and failed.

Yeah requisites for the last of us part 3. 1.ellie doesn’t die. 2. Ends with Ellie finally happy or at least starting to get her life together .

Listening to the podcasts & them talking about the cutscenes, I have come to the conclusion that Druckman made Part l so damn good by complete accident. Part ll didn’t have the same advantage as Part l & therefore it faulter severely

Still remember the times when first informations regarding Part II began to materialize in media. Fanbase literally went into overdrive, rabidly searching for every last scrap of data that was accessible. It was almost like a madness, in the most positive and heartwarming sense imaginable.
Can't say I see the same enthusiasm this time around.

Well I'll recommend you don't buy a PS5 because PS6 will drop out maybe in 2026 or 2027 and there are some chances that it will not be released in PS5 so yeah it's on you now.

They could pull a Star Wars. Part 3 could take place with Joel and Tommy. Make DLCs for minor character stories like Tess, Bill, and Yara. IDK, just a thought
An ideal Last of Us part 3 story would be like the film the Godfather part 2. A story that goes back and forth between Joel after his daughter dies and the his affiliation with the Fireflies and Ellie and Abby rejoining the Fireflies and having both stories tie in together.
