In this review, I take a detailed look at the brand new AMAZING Transformers Studio Series Leader Class Jetfire! I showcase the figure in significant detailed in both his robot and vehicle mode as well as showcasing the transformation. I also compare the figure to multiple others in the line AS WELL as comparing it to the original 2009 Leader Class Jetfire!

Jetfire is a really underrated character in the movies…He has personality, great design and badass vehicle mode.
Plus he has a lot of screentime (for a movie bot anyways) and has a heroic death, by sacrificing himself to basically save the whole world.
Yeaah ive always thought he was under appreciated! Loved his character in the movie!
He has 7-8 total minutes of screen time
Devyn Smith yeas, he does, that‘s quite a lot for a movie bot, especially for one that got introduced quiet late into the movie and remember sideswipe was in the beginning of the movie and he only has 2 and a half minutes

The original Jetfire was great but this one blows it out of the water in terms of accuracy and articulation. I'm so glad they chose the Blackbird for Jetfire's alt mode. I saw one in real life and i instantly fell in love with it. Such a gorgeous vehicle mode for one of the best Movie characters, and this is a perfect representation of it. Behold the glory of Jetfire indeed.
The ss jetfire figure has no light and sound gimmick and the gun is too massive to op to pick up.
I hope we get a studio series of Jetfire’s father

I have to say I am thankful for the Studio Series figures. Its now a chance for everyone to get old figures that some never got and now they are better
I actually forgot that there was a Dark of the Moon Prime getting released at some point in the future. It's a good thing I watched this review because I have been planning on getting the new voyager Prime, not only because of its compatibility with Jetfire, but also because it looks a lot better than the original release. Since Jetfire comes with an abdomen section, I'll wait for the DOTM figure. Hopefully Hasbro will go all out with the accessories since Prime had a whole bunch of weapons in Dark of the Moon.
The dotm prime also has his jetpack and trailer

The transformation for this guy looks like a lot of fun! The kibble folds away nicely. I still have the original Leader one from ROTF on my shelf. I'll pick this guy up and display them both in separate modes! ^^

This figure looks amazing. This is why Hasbro is great. They may give us some bad figures or cheap and endless repaints, but then they give us figures like this. This is what we wait for! Behold the eternal glory of Jetfire indeed! Awesome review as always, P.vP! I think you are so cool! I only wish this guys eyes were painted, but I could probably do that myself. And the hands could use a hinge, but they are pretty great for me at least. I love Studio Series so much! 😁😀😀😂😄

Maybe it's just how it looks on camera, but i wish the red eyes were more visible, like on the art, or on the old leader class. Further i think it's a perfect toy, can't wait to get mine in :D
I wish that as well, they are slightly covered by the silver pieces which is a shame

Awesome review of SS Jetfire. If this figure gets the KO oversize treatment with his eyes being more visible. Then it’s pretty much an unofficial MPM Jetfire. That’s how perfect the mold and detail of SS Jetfire truly is. Even if a KO does get made, This SS version deserves all the love to show to Hasbro in making more amazing leader class figures like this, Blackout and Grimlock. Can’t wait to see the video showing the combination of him.

Great figure wish the hands can close and should have his blue spark to create a recreation and a longer axe handle and the backdrop should be where he was at the airfield or cemetery or the first scene where jay fire transformed

I love the figure, he is one of my favorite characters of the second movie. I'm so excited, I can get hands on one at the end of the month. The yellow dot on the jet mode has to with the museum I think, I think for identification or something, I could be wrong.

My Jetfire’s left shoulder doesn’t tab in(my fingers are red from trying), but your transformation method of tabbing his arms into his back plates instead of relying on the way the instructions tell you is amazing and works just as well!
You gotta think, in the bayverse, Bumblebee and Hotrod fought in WW2, then there is a small chance, that they may have fought with jetfire, or at least seen him.

I really hope Jetfire gets upscaled by Weijiang or Black Mamba. I want the wings on Jetfire's back to split like they're supposed to. I want articulated hands. Same with the Prime compatible with Jetfire. I want accurate flame details and just better paint overall.

It is a shame they did not put more effort on his altmode so they could hide more of the robot IN it and not hang it all under the jet.
While his robotmode looks awesome and is quite accurate, this is not a Transformer to me.
His jetmode does only (almost) hide the the robot when you watch him from the top down but from any other angle his parts are showing witch is a shame.
They could have fixed those issues with using A bigger jet that has more space for the robot, giving us a much cleaner Jet mode and also one that would have been more in scale.
I do hope a 3P company picks this up and gives us a Jetfire that is worthy.

I honestly thought they did quite a good job at hiding it personally. The blackbird is a very sleek jet, (I believe it was the fastest on the planet at one point) so hiding the robot mode is always going to be a slight problem
@@PrimeVsPrimeyou are right (it actually still is the fastest that we know of) there is a guy at TFW2005 in the forums that did hide a Jetfire perfectley in the jetmode with a junker leader and a modelkit.. once you have seen that you might consider.

Good video, although it would have been nice to have seen a comparison with ROTF Jetfire in alt mode.
I would have done one buy my Jetfire is from 10 years ago so plastic is becoming brittle and didn’t want to break it

It’s been leaked on a recent listing. DOTM Prime with jetwing
the yellow dot is on the real Blackbird at the Air and Space museum, however it is not so big and has red lettering above and below it

@@PrimeVsPrime no problem i live next to the Air and Space museum annex at Dulles Airport in Virginia and the SR71 Blackbird is my 2nd favorate plane located there, the 1st one is the Space Shuttle also the Concorde (or Silverbolt of the Airielbots) is located there.
I love this figure very much, but honestly I feel his head is way to big, other than that absolutely wonderful.
For rubber haters, he does have a lot of rubber but still but still buy this even if it’s expensive

Man when I got my jetfire almost everything in the back when in jet mode did not plug in
My Walmart just stocked him actually. I guess they had him in the back but never put him out because DotM Megs was shelf warming. Bought him (sadly has a bent engine tip but it’s cool) so I can combine with DotM Prime.

Troppie I think the issue is DotM Megs wasn’t selling out fast so they didn’t put him out. Now they are dumping the ones they have on top of the Megatron’s
They’re not even stocking Scavenger or Overload
Corey W. I only saw dotm megs once but on amazon he cheap as hell lol. So i wouldn’t count on looking for
him at stores even though there are lots of him.
I wish they kept his head sculpt black it looked way better in my opinion.
