She had Alan pinned immediatly, her words were "I know he's the one who ordered it. It wasn't him himself, he got an idiot to do it, and thats how they'll catch him." My uncle was obsessed with VHS cameras back then. Ill have to ask him if he recorded her breaking down how she figured it out. I remember playing dominoes with her and her girls some years back and she was being modest about her intellegence so i was like "Heck no! I remember you solving a murder based off information from taped shitty reality TV!" Her friends were begging her to talk about it and she just ignored them, later that night she said "I dont like talking about it, realizing it really bothered me. I knew he was out there, i knew i was right, and it caused a lot of sleepless nights for me. Those children did not deserve that, and its the most rage ive held against another human in my life." (She was Budhist, and wouldnt hurt a fly.) I remwmber she'd get so worked up that shed stop what she was doing, lock herself in her room, and chant/pray until she was calm again.

Being very familiar with this case, i know many thought the husband was suspicious when he immediately got a lawyer before talking to police at all. The police involved in the case did. But if you read the books on the case (Ann Rule's Every Breath You Take is one) you find out about the years of abuse, control, manipulation and just outright bullshit Sheila (and then her husband Jaime with her) had put up with at the hands of Allen. Hed been getting his way for years , often using money to buy his way out of problems. Jaime knew that and im sure he believed Allen's plan was to get him pinned for this murder. If he hadn't gotten an attorney before talking to police, there's a good chance hed have been under suspicion and it would have interfered with his custody of his kids and caused many other issues. And if youre not aware, anything that is court ordered (like loss of custody due to being under murder investigation) has to also be undone by the courts- they don't just hand your kids back the day youre cleared. It can take weeks or months. And if custody was given to the murdered spouse's family and they still believe you were involved, they can fight you regaining custody for years, and keep your kids the whole time. And that's just one aspect of the problems he could have faced. Getting a lawyer was the best thing he could do for himself, his children and even for Sheila.

What a terrible crime! I’ve never heard of this case, but I do remember the “quad mom”. So sad. I feel so bad for those kids. 😢

It doesn't matter if you're a stand-up person or if you are high up in society or have the best job ever you are still capable of murder a matter of fact these people with loads of money etc can be the worst how do you think they got super rich in the first place, not from being nice. They are greedy. Disgusting mentally disturbed people.

Wow! I used to live on Markridge road in Sarasota! Crazy… I live in Manatee County now which is directly next to and 15 mins away from Sarasota County! I have never watched a video where it hits soooo close to home! Literally 😳

When you commit a murder, (and I am not suggesting anyone does), don't involve lots of other people, because you will get caught. Thats how stupid a lot of these criminals are.
