@@kristin4840finding this dog her forever home allows this woman to continue fostering. She might not be able to do that if she adopts. Fostering is allowing yourself to let them go to keep doing it.

I do emergency fostering. I could have foster failed EVERY SINGLE DOG. My current dog has been with me for just 1.5 months and I will cry my heart out in 2 days when he leaves to be with forever home. Waking up without that body and wet nose makes me teared up. The emotional turmoil is extremely hard to handle. I tried so hard to tell myself that there is another dog to save in order to make it easier to let go. If I have a dog for 2 years, the dog is staying. The only consolation is that one more dog is off the streets and not suffering.
You can't give her away now. That would really screw her mind up. Let her stay, she doesn't need to chase rabbits, she is home and safe and has a life she enjoys. What does it matter if she stays? It happens. She's a foster failure after 3 years. Love her and protect her forever. That is all she wants and needs.
When you said you were on your own since age 16, my heart just melted for you. No one should. Have to go through that. Wish I was your mom.
And you are the best foster parent any dog could ask for thank you!
Great job rehabilitating Mia. Here's hoping a nice ranch owner with space and other dogs sees this and adds her to the pack! Fostering is financially draining and we need more fosters!
Fostering only works if the foster keeps those dogs/cats rotating. Likewise, some fosters need a lot of attention and that's hard to do if the foster has a lot of pets in the house and limited funds.
She's put in the time and effort and I'm sure there is a long line of dogs waiting to be fostered.

I have hope for animal lovers ❤️.but for the rest of humanity, nope. Only animals and those who love, care, and respect them. You can be an animal lover and not have one. Some are allergic, at Uni in a dorm or financially strapped.

I hate to imagine what some of these animals have been through to mess them up so badly. The sickest puppies in this world are usually humans. Hats off to all the good people like this who try to undo the damage
I agree with this lady if I had a dog that was so special I would be really really picky on where that dog went or I'll just keep her. Maybe that's what this lady should do I think that they formed this really strong bond and that dog is just so special.❤

Your idea about a rural life for her sounds just right ti me - she's got those cattle dog/Australian shepherd ( or something close) genes and those dogs need jobs and some space. But whether or not that comes to be, your amazing care shines through in her happiness right where she is now.❤
