    I hope Henry's former family sees this video and realizes that they walked away from so much love and goodness in this senior dog. Henry is now living his best life with a family that knows the joy of having him as part of their lives, and he'll never have a scared or lonely day again. ♥

      @patirvin-bz9pg ? what are you even talking about?? calling people 'defective' because they simply (most likely) couldnt afford treatment for a dog thats 16 years old and will possibly not live very long is 'defective' as you call it.

    • @debby8428
      @debby8428 Месяц назад +7

      @@shilohwiseman his former family could have made a "hospice" situation for him. In other words keep him pain free but no extraordinary treatment. I have 2 senior dogs- 13 and 14. I have spoken to their vet and it was decided we would "hospice" them. They have been with me since they were 10 weeks. I keep them comfortable and pain free. I shower tons of attention on them. I will be with them when they pass. That is the right way to do it.

    My dog is 16.5 years old and I told her she had to live till she was 21. That's because I gave her as a 4-month old puppy to my mom. Mom cared for till she was 7. Now we've had her for more than 9 years and I told her that's not nearly enough time, so pretty please double that for us? She's had health scares this year, we even called a home euthanasia vet. Thank God for this vet - she cares more about dogs than making a buck, and she's an end of life specialist. After being in the phone with us over the course of two days, several hours invested, she finally asked me to ask Sasha if it was her time. Sasha said nope, I'm sticking with you by getting up & making a very large bowel movement - talk about the happiest mess I've ever cleaned up! Senior dogs have so much love & life to give if they're healthy and happy. We're lucky our little one is still with us. Will she make it to 21? Time will tell, but she's sleeping next to me right now & I couldn't be happier 🐾❤️🐾😂

    I could never think of giving up my senior bunny, I love her more every day. She's worth the endless cleaning the poo out of her fur, the cuddles, the silliness, the grumpiness. Our animals are for life, they give us their everything. What a beautiful dog this is ❤🎉.

    ❤ You are a beautiful loving family and gave this senior pup everything. I'm literally at a loss for words. How beautiful this story is. I hope this was the best life with you.

    Oh my. Henry's story had me boo-hooing. Our home has seven rescue pups, between the ages of 8 and 14. Two of our girls crossed Rainbow Bridge this year, both were seniors. Dogs like Henry deserve the best life we can give them, and they give back tenfold in their joyous love ❤🐾

      I get that but the love that you give that senior dog will be amazing for that dog! Send them out knowing what love is, right? 😊 I will say/warn you, as we are going through the last couple of years of our senior dog, the costs are never ending. New prescription only kibble for kidney health, a monthly arthritis injection, iron supplements, seizures, bladder leakage caused by getting fixed at too young an age, allergies. She was so healthy her first 12 1/2 years. My dad, who has been through this with many dogs, said it’s what happens to dogs as they age, just like us humans. Sorry for the long comment!

      @@tracypolselli1464 I am going through the exact thing you just mentioned. I love my girls and I am scared to lose them (14 and 13 years old). But when the time comes they will be in my arms listening to my voice. They have given me so much. They deserve that.
