Pulls now cost 200 for 1 pull and 900 for 5 pulls, and they are giving out far less arena tokens per arena battle win (I got 6's and 10's only so far), so the emphasis is more on coming in top 5, but getting into the top 5 will be a lot harder now because whales will put up even harder to kill teams. I also noticed for the Stellar Roadmaps, I was getting no less than 20 from Act 1 stage 3, now it's 12 for Act 1 Stage 3. Scopely did not even have the decency to announce these changes.
Totally agree, my experience as well and so just another nail for the game's coffin. Finally one thing I was looking forward and it lasted only a week. Also to realistically finish in the top 5 you must be in a way low league, the teams in Locke's stream are so weak, he must be doing a silver or a gold one. Try this in platinum or diamond... I'm doing 2M+ scores in domination beating all the teams giving the most points and still not even in the top 50 as it's a roulette what enemies are drawn for you and what's the max you can score.
As someone that quit for a long time and then came back, this is the best wheel I can remember. I didn’t have any of these. The only arenas I can win are the drafts unfortunately.

Diamond min is 16, with occasional 32, and the rare 40. Haven't seen any other amount. No chance to get tokens from tier rewards, enough whales to dominate that. Interesting all arenas this week are Domination, since Scopes said they'd always be Endurance from now on. 🤷♂ Also, the attack count went back to 5 (from 10), maybe to lessen how much you can farm? Or more likely this arena change was made to older code, that's happened before where older behaviors re-emerge.
Comes in first with a score 654,000, I get a score of 1.9 million and I ended up in 30th lol. Though I cannot complain really, even with never coming in higher than 30th I still ended up with 47 pulls so far. Must be nice to have easy teams. In my region in diamond every team has multiple reflect toons which are unbeatable on draft arenas unless you get lucky.
Been farming as I really wanted a Mackenzie. Got 3 copies so far after 20 pulls. Gonna keep chipping away. What would you say were the best say 5 toons in the wheel Lock? Thanks for your content Lock. Appreciate you.
