- Not everybody who drives a car cares about the exterior -- but we ALL care, to some extent, about a clean INTERIOR. In that vein, this video is for you:) A basic tutorial, perfect for beginners, on how to detail the interior of your vehicle. What's more, we did it with just one product! Big thanks to @emilytheaudinerd on this one!!!

The girl is quite the character and wise beyond her years!
Very true
Been watching Yvan for years....every time I watch a video, I learn something new
Thank you
I did all the exterior detailing of my cars yesterday evening. Today is interior and so this video is perfect timing
I usually do same thing. Interior one day and exterior next day
Excellent!
Great to hear!
Great video! Couple of awesome people!
Thank you.
OMG Yvan, I learned so much with this video, this is real Interior Detailing. Love the not looking at the window cleaning. Thanks !
Thanks
A short demonstrating the rinseless wash towel and compressed air method would be awesome
Yes, unfortunately in that shop there was no compressor
Love your products, keep up the great content!
Thank you! Will do!
Oh man. I have so many microfiber towels... but that doesn't stop me from wanting to try out that interior microfiber towel. I'm ready for them to come back in stock just to have another something new to try out.
We are trying hard to get them back.
This is the best interior cleaning video I have ever seen. It covered so many types of car body materials. Thanks 🇨🇦👍👍
Glad you liked it!
I love her shirt! So perfect. Great video too.
Thank you!! Yes she is very much into wrenching on and modifying her own vehicles.
Thanks, teacher 🙏
You are welcome
Awesome tip drying the floor mat with the brush!
Glad it was helpful!
Great tip for window cleaning, thanks for teaching me a new trick 👍❤️
You are so welcome!
You are so welcome!
Sunday is Funday! 😊
Indeed!
Good day all! 👋🇨🇦
You too!
happy holidays 🎅🎅🎅
Thank you
Awesome
Thank you.
Very relaxing video!
I havent yet opened the bottle, but I wonder is it needed to add a conditioner for the leather seats after using interior clean ?
No need
relaxing
Thank you
Can you use the clean & protect before you do an interior ceramic application? Just bought the interior package on the DIY website and trying to figure out sequence on a new car. Thanks!
Yes DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect can be used prior do DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating
Well learned something new in cleaning glass. Going to try that no looking method. I get streaking every once in a while. Too much product, and did not wait long enough to wipe off. I’m sure this method works for any brand glass cleaner.
Correct it’s a universal technique
I always thought Ivan was joking about not looking when cleaning windows, but 42:20 is all I need to see. Can you confirm that IC&P is safe on all nav screens? My mazda seems to have this film/coating on the screen that doesn't play well with any solutions....
Thank you, it’s worked well on every screen we have tested.,
Do you need to use panel prep to put interior ceramic after you’ve cleaned with interior clean/protect?
No
Can all this be cleaned with rinseless 256:1?
Does rinseless maybe have an edge for cleaning power? Is safe on all surfaces? Thx in advance for the answer :)
Yes they are interchangeable. The only advantage goes to DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect because of the UV protection.
I accidentally used a degreaser/ all purpose cleaner on my dashboard on my sunday car . I noticed it looked like it dryed out the plastic . I used my go to vrp to protect it after and the shine came back. Do you think the plastic will be permanently dried out after the vrp fades off ? Also can i use your product to strip all the products off dashboard and start over with your product ?
Unfortunately the degreaser may have done permanent damage. Wash it in a few weeks to see if the vrp rehydrated it
Hi Ivan any suggestion for cloth seats?
Spray DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect on a wool polishing pad, and lightly polish the seat.
Did my interior with rinseless wash, then used interior clean and protect.
Good
Good
I would like to see a video about Ivan's racing history.
Very simple, raced SCCA solo in the late 80’s, raced Vintage Dirt Modifieds in the early 2000’s .
Most of my involvement with racing has been in a race official uniform. Mostly tech inspector for different series and tracks, but also series race director, flag man, pit steward, track race director, and in race communications.
I’ve also sponsored many teams and series as funds allowed.
@@diydetailofficial that's awesome Ivan, such a great history around the automotive world. You sir are a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Thank you
@@diydetailofficial you're welcome
So ive been watching a ton of videos from other detailers. And they all attack you and say that youre wrong about a DA cutting faster than a rotary
I think you guys should do a video comparing cutting with a DA to cutting with a rotary. Im shocked you havent already
But to make it fair, for the rotary you should use something like the rupes cut and finish wool pad, with there coarse compound.
I’ve done a video on the Rag Company channel many years ago. Yes we are planning such a video. To be fair and actually compare the cut of the machines themselves, and not the products, the same pad and polish are used on both machines.
this gives dad teaching his daughter vibes lol
She’s almost young enough to be my granddaughter.
@@diydetailofficial I feel like your detailer stage name should be Grandpa Rinseless 😂
Was the windows cleaned using the interior clean and protect?
You can
Couldn't see the bottle and don't believe you ever mentioned the product. Is that what was used vs crystal clear. You mentioned the product used was safe for window tint. Are both safe?@@diydetailofficial
Where can you get the interior cleaning towel?
It will be back shortly
If you get sticky buttons because you used APC how can you undo or fix this?
Replace the buttons
Is there anywhere in Aus that I can buy those microfiber towels?
Soon they should be available at Car Care Co
I see your videos and like a lot the products.
When try to purchase, the cart says not shipping to PR.
Many companies doesn’t know my land. Puerto Rico is an USA possession and our postal system is the USPS. Same as yours. I purchase a lot of car products from internet in companies like Car Supplis Warehouse and Detail images, no problem with them.
So please make the arrangements with your shipping people to send products to PR
Thanks and happy holidays
We only ship to the 48 continental states. We have distributors for PR, Alaska and Hawaii.

I like Emily’s T-shirt. Where can I find it?
I got one on Amazon, though not as nice as hers.
Also, Blipshift has a lot of nice shirts. Their availability can be tricky.
She might have them on her channel.
When interior towel coming back in stock?
Unfortunately we don’t know.
Anyone dilute clean and protect to reduce the shine afterwards? What ratio?
It doesn’t leave any shine behind. It doesn’t have any visual effect other than clean. The protection aspect of DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect is antistatic and UV protection.
Where I can get the that microfiber
They will be back in stock soon
@@diydetailofficial thanks, please let me know
You always forget the sun visor😉
We didn’t, we do a lot off camera.
@@diydetailofficial Tip of the day always remember to look up when doing an interior detail. Sun visors, grab handles, sun roof, interior lights and headliner.
Agreed
Ready
Thank you
I need to see that stuff work on a much dirtier interior….
Once you try it, like thousands of others you will see just how great it is.
