Jose Antonio's Story

Jose Antonio was two years old when he came to Faith In Practice only weighing 9 pounds.
When we met him, he was suffering from extreme malnutrition, which is unfortunately too common in Guatemala.
We were able to get him the medical attention he so desperately needed and get him on a feeding program. For a while, it looked like Jose Antonio was doing better but unfortunately, his little body just couldn't fight any longer.
Through stories like his, God continues to show us how to love better. Our time with each patient is also an opportunity for them to teach us how to live life and live it well despite overwhelming hardships.
Jose Antonio was placed in our lives for a reason and a season and will continue changing lives long after he’s gone.
