I saw someone else react to this recently and they were very underwhelmed. Saying things like “Maybe that wasn’t his best material” and “I won’t write him off just yet, I’ll give him another chance”. I was baffled! This was the first stand up I ever saw Rhod Gilbert do and I was literally crying with laughter, I’ve loved him ever since. So glad you guys liked it too, fab reactions, keep up the good work! 😊

Great reaction as always, so pleased you watched this hilarious sketch.
The other great ones from rhod are " buying a sandwich on a train" and " i bought a baked potato".
I had a nightmare expy a long time ago when travelling from uk to san Francisco with North west airlines. I got as far as detroit and due to a delay in the uk when before take off a passenger became ill.
I was supposed to get a connection from the hub centre at detroit and ended up staying a night at a hotel. My luggage was not with then so had no change of underwear or personal care products.
The next day i got to san Francisco for a two week stay and my suitcase arrived by courier 10 days later. I had to buy all new clothes etc some from charity shops. At least i had my suitcase in time for me to bring it back.😮

In 1999, I was going to Calgary Alberta Canada, with part of my family. We had a short stop in Heathrow airport, that took a bit longer, because my brother had a laser pointer on his key chain, and they're not allowed on plains. But CPH Airport didn't stop it, Heathrow did and made him and my dad sign so many papers. We made it on to our Air Canada flight in time, just in time. The security guys seemed to prepare themselves for a mindless long debate about why we couldn't have the laser pointer with us, I think we let them down by giving it up without a fuzz.

Crab Air, Crab Fats, the RAF formed 1st April 1918, a joke thats gone on for far too long. The reason they , the RAF are called Crabs is because of the colour of their uniform. It was the same colour as an ointment used by the troops to kill/prevent Crab lice in the trenches. The reason they used that colour cloth is another interesting story.

That was brilliant! As a pilot where do I start..... I flew for a low cost carrier out of Hong Kong and was always told do not check luggage because we only flew over nights mostly, enough for a carry on. Anyway I get a rare long layover in Bali so I check my surfboard. During the pre flight inspection/walk around I literally noticed first hand with my own eyes that my board was going on the plane. Arrive in Bali, no surfboard. Having done the right thing and checked it in there I am at the desk in my First Officer uniform for the very same airline asking where the board is on the plane I just landed and I get asked "What does it look like?". I called the airline ops to check the plane on return to HK and nothing. Disappeared on the very same plane I apparently. Indonesian customs officers...
Also I've had the old "exploded suitcase" happen once in Chang Mai, heard the horror stories and saw it on the carousel and refused to believe it was mine. Everything robbed except socks and undies. On that, I HATE people that have to stand as close as possible. Stand back, bag comes out and off you go. I've had to engage in combat many times to just get to the thing.

My worst experience with luggage was when I went to Canada..
Waiting by the carousel and my suitcase never appeared. I Went to the desk only to be shown it had been damaged beyond repair (no wheels left etc). The lady was so nice and told me to go to this place and I'd be given a replacement..
But before I could get there I was stuck in customs for a few hours because was my second time in quick succession visiting the country and didn't have that much cash on me. They phoned my partner who lived there to check to see everything was legit but she was asleep when they called so that took forever.. I thought I was going to be sent back to the UK at one point..
Because it took so long I thought I wouldn't be able to get my replacement luggage.. Luckily the woman who sent me to this place was actually there herself now working a second shift and gave me a replacement suitcase that was worth a lot more than my original one because they didn't have a basic one of that size..
But it was all worth it in the end because a great time as always in a great country 😁

My first time travelling alone to the Philippines via Singapore has a very rapid switch over (from Singapore Airlines to Silk Airlines) at Singapore where you ran from end-to-end of the airport to catch your connecting flight, due to a delay in the UK... I made it - my luggage did not. I didn't know this of course until I arrived in the Philippines, and I was told to return the next day.
What I also didn't know is that the Cebu airport at that time was a part-time airport, and closed after 12:00 noon. So upon arriving to claim my luggage the airport was empty... Luckily my driver was very helpful and went to find someone, who surpringly was happy to locate and release my luggage. An interesting first day in the Philippines.

Coming back to UK having had meetings in the USA the plane lost my luggage. 3 days later i got a knock on the door when I opened it, there was a guy from the airport with my luggage. Apparently my luggage had been on a round the world trip, stopping at Dubai, Japan and America before it got back to me.

Possibly one of his funniest stories and yet so simple. I think Jodi liked that one. It looked like you missed one part though. "Bryan Air" - in the UK, and I think the company may be based in Ireland, there is a very famous Airline called RyanAir, very cheap, known for charging ridiculously cheap fares, but then they charge you for everything as extras and I mean EVERYTHING. £9.99 for a flight to Ireland is not actually as daft as it sounds. We have a few of these cheap Airlines. I once flew from Exeter in the South West to Edinburgh with one of these airlines for business (I think the company I flew with has now gone bust) but, I kid you not, the plane they flew us on was a Twin TurboProp Aeroplane, not even a Jet. I had a window seat on the left. I'm not sure if they were just trying to save fuel for the trip back, but when we came in to land, I looked out of the window and they actually turned off the left engine. We landed on just one engine - HA HA just a little disconcerting

Airlines are past masters at losing luggage. I've had my luggage lost... _and the plane hadn't even taken off!_ It was a clear, brisk day where I was but the destination (about 1 1/2 hours away) was suffering a severe snow storm. So the flight got cancelled, we were de-planed - and my luggage didn't show up. And it never did. Fortunately, I was only going for a weekend and I got some insurance but what a hassle the whole process turned out to be.

Arriving back in the UK we were singled out for a baggage search. He did all the usual questions, where have you travelled from, did you pack the luggage yourself..? All very official and intimidating. Nice one Nick! You actually got the pronunciation right! Yes, "R" and "Rh" are quite close, but on the other video I wasn't pedantically correcting you.
No-one would normally be so picky, but I only said it to the smarmy commenters who laughed at you for saying it may be pronouced the same as "Rhode" - a perflectly fine guess when you have "Rhode Island", as they snearly told you it was "Rod".
My point, if you're obnoxiously going to "correct" someone, you better make sure your "correction" is accurate. Theirs wasn't.
You guys are so great, I don't know why you get all the haters.
    Cheers.
P.s. This is NOT directed to Nick or Jodi, but the other commenters: If anyone wants to "correct" me on this (it's already happened!) just look up the "difference between the Welsh letters R and Rh" before making yourselves look foolish.

He is a very funny guy.
The worst horror stories I've heard relate to Manila Airport in the Philipiines luggage being stolen by baggage handlers.
Security screening staff planting a .22 round in a departing passengers bag then demanding a bribe not to call the police and have them arrested.
Most recently a couple of months ago a departing chinese passanger was told "empty your pockets put contents on the tray so it can be scanned" he did so then was distracted by a other security agent while the scanner operator stole cash from his wallet.
Fortunately another nember of the group he was travelking with filmed it on his cellphone. When they challenged staff they denied it until shown the footage. They agreed to return the money if the footage was deleted. The exchange took place and the film deleted however other members of the group also filmed ot and a copy sent to Airport management and the Philippine National Police involved. Arrests were made and the Bureau of Tourism announced prosecutions and tightening of procedures would follow.

If you want a story of irony regarding lost luggage I put my luggage in a left luggage store and they lost it! I was working away from home and had put my suitcase in the lwft luggage store because I wanted to go and do something before catching my train home.
I came back with time to spare to collect my suitcase and catch my train. Unfortunately the man with the keys had gone to lunch. So now I had a dilemma I could wait for the man and miss my train and pay £150 for a new train ticket, or I could leave my suitcase in the left luggage store and come back and collect it at a later date.
I was due back in the same City within 2-weeks and there wasn't anything of great value in the suitcase so I decided I leavw it there and would come back and collect it on my return.
Unfortunately by the time I came back they had lost my suitcase. I never did get it back.

Aargh, wrong version again, there’s a much better version out there. Who is recommending these that that don’t pick the best version for them to watch? 🤦🏻

Here’s a little fact for you. Yih don’t have to laugh or fake enjoyment from rob. He’s really not that funny. I don’t know how he made it as a comedian. Maybe he appeals to the Welsh. But he’s not funny. People think he is but he’s not. After many years he does say something comical, but he’s not a funny guy. Don’t feel bad if you feel like you have to force a laugh for him

I love North Americans not understanding a word a Welsh man says. They are saying “I don’t get it” but I will laugh for you pateron viewers
