There are a lot of variables, but for us it comes down to the fact we are on the road most of the time. Our Passport is super comfortable for daily driving and road trips. We also like the active awd with torque vectoring (great for on road safety in poor conditions). The passport has more bench legroom than a 4runner and very comparable cargo space.

No.1, is my 2000 Isuzu Rodeo same as the Passport ? Same engine, and No2 is my 2010 Pilot still under req.for the timing belt change ?, it is at 139k.Thanks, good show.
So far I love them! I wanted an aggressive tire that had better road manners than a mud terrain. I also like that they aren’t heavy stiff E rated tires. They aren’t very noisy now, but I won’t be surprised if they get noisy as they wear.
@ I have considered that. My biggest issue with it is that that structure specifically is what protects the wheel wells from tire intrusion in the event of a collision. It’s unfortunate that it was so oddly shaped, and I am glad Honda has fixed it somewhat in the newer vehicles. I am really torn between 32’s (31.6) with probably having to cut, and being stuck with 30.5” which may likely rub anyway.

People paying money to hurt acceleration, handling, braking, mpg, etc is crazy. The cherry on top is it looks terrible- that’s subjective of course, but the other drawbacks are not.

Again the kids are bouncing around in the backseat without seatbelts as you drive over obstacles… 🤦♂️ What could possibly go wrong? Then you leave them in there with engine running while it sits half up on a giant rock while you walk away to do video commentary with your wife?
I also take them camping in freezing weather, hiking around cliff edges, and swimming in the ocean. The risk in this video is very low. It is more dangerous to drive on the interstate. We are safety conscious.
Yeah man. This guy was driving 100 miles per hour on the freeway and going over all kids of hazards rock crawling while the vehicle almost tipped over with the kids in the backseat without a seatbelt. My goodness the nerve of some people.
curious - why did you choose a unibody car instead of a body on frame style vehicle for these adventures? trying to make my own decision....

Your flex test shown was with wheels straight, not turning. Did it fully clear with front wheels turned to each side?
Aren't you concerned about loss of structural integrity? As you noted DZ did some welding.
NoLo Designs welded his. JohnDZ and his mechanic did not. He has over 180k without any issues.
Looking at these tires for my pilot, what do you think so far? Not much info about them yet in the suv load ranges.

Nice!. Why are the comments so bitchy about this... I'm guessing you could do the same to a Ridgeline and you may not have to do any cutting for 31's?

You could try, but I don’t think it would work. You would end up denting the interior footwell.

Looks like it's on stilts...similar to cheap Fiats with skinny suspension components sticking out. Stock looks better imo.
