    Super cool! I never got an explanation about my Dyno results 🤷 I have a 2019 f150 with a 650 HP kit and long travel suspension. 💪

    The roush tune doesn't remove the speed limiter?

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  7 месяцев назад

      No Roush tunes never remove that because it is there from the factory due to tire and driveshaft speed spec limits.

    I went with whipple on my 2021 Roush F150. 800hp warrantied by Ford, and it's a 3 liter unit, so efficiency is better and not nearly as much heat soak

    What is the rpm limit on the 21/22 roush sc tune? I have a 2020 Roush sc F150 and it won't rev past 6200 rpm. It is interesting that the grey truck could rev to 6800..

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  Год назад +1

      I have not seen one that wont go past 6200 unless you are talking in a higher gear and then it is likely your speed limiter hitting not rev limiter. But you should go past 6200 in lower gears.

      I ran a Roush on my 2013 F150 and loved it. Whipple is great also. On a stock truck I think anybody would be happy with either. Both make great power and torque.

    A vid on differences of the 21/22's vs prior. Old ones better than new ones or???

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  2 года назад

      I feel if you are talking 18+ very comparable. The 10 speed auto rips. Took a bit to get used to but now I love it.

    What gear was this run in?

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  2 года назад

      We dyno these in 4th so we can go over 6,000 rpm without hitting the factory speed limiter which is around 105 mph. If you tried a higher gear your RPM is pretty limited and your pull might only go to less than 6,000 rpm when the engine pulls much higher in normal driving 1st through 4th.

      Chassis dynos are real wheel horsepower. All manufacturers advertise flywheel horsepower. They are not the same. Rear wheel is after all your drivetrain loss through transmission, driveshaft, rear end, and wheels and tires. Flywheel is at the engine with the engine out of the vehicle on an engine dyno
