Hi Gary, Love the video and your setup. The only problem is that you have whetted my appetite to get out into the country but in doing so you have cost me a small fortune ya bugger! 😂😂 I bought a bigger van and have started to buy the kit I need like gas and electric cookers, kettles, toasters, portapotti, folding chairs and table, large and medium electric cool boxes, disco bunk beds, battery and electric lights etc, looking to buy a gorilla gazebo next. Just wait until I bump into you sir!! Seriously though, thanks for all your cb and camping videos my friend, you make it so easy looking and achievable. Don't have the money for a campervan so my mwb Merc Traveliner will have to do. Please keep the videos coming bud as they are a great distraction from all the crap getting flung at us now! Take care Gary. Cheers, Sky. 🇮🇲🇮🇲
Really pleased it’s going well with the car camping Gary it’s really coming together 👍 16 nights so far brilliant! and saved a few pennies I’m sure. I thought you was setting up in a random car park at the beginning lol
Mate great video. Love ya set up. Have a Hyundai i20, smaller than your wheels but would love to get out and sleep in the car and do something similar. ... subscribed, keep up the good work fella 👍
I reckon 6ft max with the seat fully forward. Berlingo is great and nicer to drive than my old Doblo, but I reckon the Doblo had more space due to it's more boxy rear design.
RTTs are Ok for an overnight I guess, but it's basically a bunk bed and rather a cumbersome thing to have on the roof. Clamshell the best I reckon, but might as well pitch a tent next to the vehicle and save a heap of cash. Each to their own though. Cheers.
Hi I also have a berlingo I use as a camper I mainly stealth camp, give me a sub and see what I do. These vehicles are so versatile ans we all have different set ups
It's a pretty good motor - I can just pull all the stuff out of the back in a few minutes and it then becomes a vehicle I can transport furniture and take stuff to the tip in. Cheers.
As is often said, "all folks be different". Some like posh hotels, sitting on a beach in hot weather or perhaps enjoy large social gatherings but, to me, those activities would be torture. For me, walking the hills of Wales, often in bad weather, and then coming back to my own little space and hunkering down for the night is heaven.

Worth every penny if it gets us away from what's going on in this World! All the best!
Great little set up, I have a Peugeot partner I removed the rear seats for more room. I love my little adventures. Stay safe happy travels.
Thanks - it's working out well! Seats out in mine too but nowhere to store them, so currently stacked-up in the corner of the living room! Cheers.
A brilliant little set up Gary. Looking good.
Cheers - working on the camping/hiking video now. Should be out early next week.

Going very well indeed and will be getting out as often as possible!
Looks like a really well organised set up 👍 enjoy the good times 😊
Probably up around 40 nights away in it since last Autumn and it's doing the job! Cheers.

Thanks matey! Give it a go with the i20, you might be able to make it work! All the best.
Hi Well done very well thought out, thanks for your video.Steve.
Thanks Steve - the setup is working well. Cheers.
Ich musste an mary popping denken. XD. Und so manches ist aus der Kategorie „Dinge die die Welt nicht braucht“😅
I'm liking the Berlingo more and more, out of interest how tall a person do you think could comfortably sleep in the back with the seat moved forward?
I reckon 6ft max with the seat fully forward. Berlingo is great and nicer to drive than my old Doblo, but I reckon the Doblo had more space due to it's more boxy rear design.
Gary is one of the best the cousin you never had
Cheers Matey - thanks for the comment!
That's why I gonna invest in a rooftop tent 😀

Sorry but it looks like torture....
