Well... the real lesson learned is that I should have denied fundamentalism and reveal my tactic a turn earlier. I spent a lot of time planning this game but it's just near impossible to get everything right over so many turns. :(
Losing an age I wonder to Ravages of Time is definitely not great, but I am not that much afraid of it, that it would lead me to always taking an age a wonder. If Ravages comes out very early, it definitely is very painful, but often it will take a bit of time until someone will draw the event and the event deck is flipped, often it will be age III by then. It also depends a bit on what age I wonder you have. Losing Universitas in age III is often actually not that bad, while losing a wonder like Great Wall or St. Petes can be very disastrous
Yes, this game didn´t go nicely for Flackk and HealingAura. However the game from this video and the ones before finished very closely after each other, so I don´t think that the tournament motivation plays a part.
There are only 5 wonders per age in 4p games? somehow I thought it was 6 =S Seems rough if one doen't come out, you get nothing or what's chosen for you.
I love the signature Weidenbaum "Hello and welcome" at the opening, and with years of recording experience it gets better and better :D
Silk Road seems to have a side effect on Weidenbaum: He'll take literally every single Reserves that he sees :D
Complete domination
I think thats the most insane non-age-III-James-Watt that I've seen so far
Ruthless game
Lesson learned: Do not threaten the Baum with only 115 strength. (it was actually 115 cap, he destroyed his alchemy with curie which cost 1 strength)

when you chose alchemy on the third turn, therefore deciding not to have age A wonder, you were not afraid of losing age 1 wonder due to the event

@@weidenbaumtta2889 I fully agree with you but I always try to take the wonder of Era A. It happened to me in very few games not to take it.
It looks the guys except SQ lost their tournament motivation, because their game wasn't as strong as before.

@@weidenbaumtta2889 makes sense, thanks for clarification!

All selected wonders come out, except in the Age A, (where they are not guaranteed and (a bit depend on number of taken cards in the first turn))
