I often have my backpack with me (a fantastic purchase for $5 from a second-hand store!) and I take a book along with me. I remember how in Maya Angelou's "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" the author mentioned a lady she knew when growing up and the lady always carried a book with her. It's been a long time since I read the collection of letter "Anne Sexton - A Self-Portrait in Letters" but my recollection is that Ms. Sexton once told her daughter in a letter that a book is always your best friend and to take one with you.

I use "Exceed Pocket Ruled Journal, Black, 96 Sheets, 78 GSM" from Walmart ($5.47) in the cargo pocket or breast pocket. It appears about the same size that you shown. No bleeding or ghosting even with my wettest pens. They have A5 is well.
Glasses cleaner towelettes irritate my eyes, it even says on the package “may cause eye irritation” I would be very careful with those or just avoid and use water to clean your glasses.
This is one I thoroughly enjoyed. Your bag did not have the usual flashlights, firestarter kits, cordage, fatwood, folding saw, first aid materials, etc. that I am accustomed to seeing when one mentions EDC. Your contents certainly match your life.
Well, I'm a hospital chaplain, so, for me it mostly needs to be pockets. But, I totally get this presentation. Thank you!

Hello HJ, at my age the volume of my EDC is quite smaller and the contents are also slightly different, although there are some similarities such as some fountain pens and a notebook for example. Have a nice week. Greetings from Belgium.
For a knife, I have been carrying a Victorinox Tinker for 35 years, it is the stopgap between a multitool and a single blade and also does not look so aggressively "tacticool."
Nice video. I always carry those Zeiss wipes in my bag for cleaning my glasses and sanitizing my phone.

I need to get myself a loop because I don't see well, either, and I struggle to read the nib size of my pens. I love the bag; it's so stylish. You have great taste. My favorite is the nail clipper. When I still worked at my final job, all I carried in my messenger bag was a novel to read on the train, to which I rode on my bike. I would add a donut at the far train station.
