New minimalist setup for my everyday carry Traveler’s Company Passport size notebook. Bullet Journaling is a great method to keep your EDC notebook organized.
That front pocket will never not be genius to me! I used to not like pockets in inserts. Since once you’re done w/ the insert, the pocket goes away w/ it! 🤣 However, recently I’ve been needing to store specific papers & scraps w/ inserts. So now an insert pocket comes in clutch! Why I LOVE LOVE LOVE this system sm, it’s custom & DIYable. 🤩🥰🌟💫
I love the notion of tracking purchases as needs versus wants! It's so simple, but I see how it can make a big difference. I'm in the process of changing up my planning system for the mid-year shift, and I'm going to give this a try. Thanks, Jack!
I found your channel, subscribed and am spending the afternoon binge watching your videos! You have SO many great tips/tricks I want to steal! First, the first page pocket - genius! Second - the spending tracker - my savior! Love the pen/ink section as all my lists are in 10 different places! Thank you so much! Can’t wait for more content. God bless you!
I rly like how you have a simpler set up! I’m one of those artsy girlies & decorate my planner/bujo. I deco for myself, since I’ve tried plenty of simpler setups & none ever worked. Up until I tried mixing in scrapbooking.🤩 Nonetheless, I’m very open minded & love seeing what others different from me do. It also gives me loads of Inspo on the functionality of my setup. Since it can be hard to find a planner that is both pretty & functional. I like to keep the bones simple, & embellishments maximal.🥳🤩😎✨
lol. You set up your passport exactly the way I have mine! I even used to have the Kraft folder in but took it out. It was good for loose stuff but just added bulk. I keep my credit card and license in the zippered pocket.
I am glad I came across this video. The distant future log isn’t something I considered before today. And the pockets are something I also will be trying in my next set up.
Thank you for watching my video. The distant future log came about when my wife let her passport expire. I’ve got my drivers license, passport, ham radio license and concealed carry license logged in mine.
Great content and interesting ideas, I’m about to start my journey in journaling. Subscribed, gonna go through your other videos, thanks for your videos!

@@SigogglinJack I've been following your channel from the beginning & actually find myself looking forward to your videos. I also have 1 passport and 1 standard. I don't decorate, either. So, quite a few similarities lol. Thanks for the useful & entertaining videos!
At first I thought it was going to but the back cover of the notebook is stiff enough that I don’t even notice it unless I’m really bearing down. Thanks for watching!
Where did the little fabric insert come from? I'm fascinated by how you created the pockets. I would have never thought of folding the page over so it would be reinforced. But then, Im horrible at crafting. I like the tabletop color in this video. Is it a cover? It creates a real nice look. My Daddy had a pipe stand like that, although not nearly as many pipes.
Thanks Teresa. The pouch is made by Moterm. I ordered it from Amazon. The table top cover is a vinyl gun cleaning mat. I found the pipe stand in an antique shop many years ago. Thanks so very much for watching.
I love the passport TN in theory, but for me it’s too large to fit in my pocket (very bulky) but if it has to be in a bag it may as well be the full size….
Hey thanks. This is the Traveler’s Company passport size and the bigger one is the standard size. The notebooks are bungeed in by an elastic cord. It works pretty good. I’ve got a playlist with videos showing the my setup. Thanks for watching Joey
Yeah, that's an abomination of a format, which kinda tries to mimic a paper boarding pass size. Vertically it is an A5, horizontally it is a nonsense :)
I sure have. I’ve tried a couple. I just didn’t gel with it. Great concept and I can see how someone who needs to archive or share notes might like it. It just wasn’t my thing. Thanks for watching
I’m not a huge fan of the plastic inserts. I used to love them, but their novelty has worn off on me. 😅 Their zipper bulky & sharp. I’ve cut myself & indented my cover multiple times. I also find they don’t last as long. 2 YTers I’ve seen own one for 8+ years find it yellows & falls apart over time. Ig the plastic gets brittle & UV gets to it.🫤 Fabric inserts are best, imo. Since they last longer & are more repairable. I make my own since Ik how to sew. I love your setup! 🤩

For sure 👍
Love the idea of the first and last page as pockets. Genius!
Thank you very much!!
Your setup has influenced my pockets quite a lot since discovering your channel.
Thanks for following along. I appreciate the support!

Thanks very much! Yes it’s been a big help for me to be more mindful about my spending. Thanks for watching!
I like your crowded table. Perfect organized mess where everything has its place :-)
Thanks so much! 😊

I wish I were more artistic. I do occasionally glue a cigar band in😅
I was not aware of such things as a bullet journal this looks very useful to me as I’m very forgetful thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Awesome. Great minds think alike! Thanks for watching
Looks like it went through a spring cleaning. Nice. I like the zippered pouch. Looks cool.
Thanks buddy!
You've inspired me to get back into my pocket TN...really enjoying the smaller footprint and have a new pocket TN on its way!
Awesome. Thanks so very much for watching.

Yeah.. I wish I was this organized! Looks great though! 😂
Thanks very much!
Awesome Notebook Setup! I think the large one is an A5…really enjoy your channel
Thanks Randy. Really appreciate your channel too. Great stuff!

This is incredibly cool.
Thanks!
Looking good.😮
Thanks!
YAYAYAYAY YOU POSTED!! 🤩😻✨
Took forever with this one. Struggled with internet issues this week. That’s what I get for living in the boondocks. Thanks for watching!

I like that set up
Thanks Randy!
This may sound weird, but I feel like you would be a great person to hang out with and have a beer. Ha.
Thanks so much!
I like the kraft folder, but i use it like you use the pockets you make in the notebook. Great video
Thanks brother!
Great video.... Thanks...
Thanks brother!
cool video thank you!
Thanks for watching!
The standard TN is the same length as A5 but not as wide. A5 is 148mm x 210mm, standard TN is 110mm x 210mm.
Thanks. I really like the standard size. I’m using it as a cigar and whiskey journal. Thanks very much for watching!

@tanya25m thank you 🙏. I very much appreciate your follow along! I think the passport is my favorite
@@SigogglinJackit's a very enjoyable journey, so thank you 😊 Keep up the good work! I can't pick a favorite - I love them both!
Great video, such a neat set up. I wonder what you do with the booklets once you finish them. File, throw them away?
I generally toss them. Destroy the evidence 😆 but I have kept a few of different kinds just as examples for videos. Thanks very much for watching.
I use the standard size with one notebook for dailies and a second for everything else.
They’re really great notebook. Thanks for watching!
Like it 🙂
Thanks Steve!
does the knot from the elastic band bother you when write on that side of the journal?

Great video! What’s the cover you use and how do you keep the actual notebook from falling out?

The standard TN is roughly an A5 slim
Thanks Sarah. It’s a nice size. Really enjoying it. Thanks for watching!
It’s an A5 Slim.
Thanks and thanks for watching.
Yeah, that's an abomination of a format, which kinda tries to mimic a paper boarding pass size. Vertically it is an A5, horizontally it is a nonsense :)
I think I’m liking an A5 better. It’s just a bit too narrow. Thanks for watching. It does fit in my sling bag though. Thanks for watching!
Where did you get the small stencil?
I found it on Amazon. It’s the Pacific Arc Pocket Master. I really like it.. thanks for watching Keith.
Ever try a rocketbook ? Reusable & scannable? YMMV

A little chapstick rubbed on those zipper teeth will smooth it up some.
Good idea 👍 thanks
@@SigogglinJack sure thing.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the fabric one works out for me. It looks classier than the plastic one. Thanks
