I just got one a couple days ago. I almost didn't buy it because they changed the name. I thought it was a different jacket. I wanted a barlett for years. Im glad i did some research and found a site saying "the utility jacket, formerly known as the barlett". I saved $100 on the purchase too! 😁 👍

From experience don't get anything out of eBay I got scammed on the Lamy pen. I will stick with Kaweco of Amazon.

Use rubber cement to glue labels in you notebooks. You put a thin layer in the book and a thin layer on the band and wait a few minutes, then attach!

I never set up pages in advance and create spreads only when I see a need them. Pre-formatted planners of any kind just don't work for me, even when I create them myself.

1:20 that's exactly why I bought a very neat and tiny leather pocket wallet from Saddleback Leather (unfortunately, they don't make that model anymore). And I keep my Costco and a Library card in the notebook

Love your notebooks. I do what you do with cigar bands with beer labels! Just havent found where to stick them on yet.

I use my daily notepad as my wallet and love it. I used to have to carry a badge, in turn I've become very careful about not forgetting my wallet lol and this way it is one less thing to carry. Granted I custom made my own notebook cover / wallet with some old leather I had. It's not very pretty 😅 I've avoided using paperclips up till now (occupational thing) but seeing this video and I'm not working currently I may start. Up till now I've been using small pieces of ribbon which of course end up falling out Thank you for the video!!! Cheers, beers and whiskey 🤠🥃

How do you carry it? Front pocket? Cargo pocket? Back pocket? I have just started carrying mine Nd am having trouble finding a comfortable way to carry it.

I think i need to try the pen tel Pencil lol, The reason I don’t use mine as a wallet too is ill forget the debit card all the time :)

I recently put the single burner torch in my old Chevy truck zippo I bought back in the 90s. My biggest complaint about zippo’s is the fuel leak. Not a problem now with the new insert. Thanks for the video.

I've just purchased the Bullet Journal book by Ryder Carroll on my kindle too. I've decided to start a project in learning more about this and implementing it into my daily life. Have to say thanks for your excellent videos. They have motivated me into getting into this more after months of pondering 👍

I've read Letters From A Stoic and was inspired to do so by the sbrebrown RUclips channel. Stephen is a long time fountain pen enthusiast, but also teaches Philosophy. In addition to his fountain pen reviews, he has very nice reflections on being a Stoic. For me personally, Stoicism seems like a way to keep onself sane, in this crazy, demanding world. 🌎

Seneca was writing letters to his friend, Lucilius. If one is just starting to read the writings of the Stoics, I believe these letters are probably some of the most easily digestible. Highly recommend, for sure.

The nice rhing about taking Parker refills is that it'll also take the Schmidt easyflow refills that are quite nice.

I have two Bastion bolt action pens in aluminum. They are great pens. Like you, I would like to try their fountain pen.

Looks like a nice pen. What I’m looking for is a duel action pen/pencil in a heavy duty case like that one. I’ve only seen the 4 color pen (red/black/green/blue) with a plastic case.

I had never thought about it but I definitely prefer analog to digital. The closest thing to a digital watch I own is the G-Shock GA2100 which is an Ani-Digi display. It's hard to pin down a favorite in my watch collection but I think it would be the Hamilton Khaki King if I had to choose. It's nice enough and low key enough to wear in a business setting but it's also still a field watch so works well with any outdoor use and it's pretty tough so I'm not particularly concerned about wearing it anywhere.

I ordered one a couple days ago .i have some SAKs .im gonna try to carry it .i like the magnifier and the pliers. Its mostly the blade that i use though. I don't know if i will like it but it is definitely a super cool little gadget.

Yu-yake translates roughly to “evening glow,” referring to the sunset. I think. 😅 Sunburst is pretty close! Classy looking pen, I think! I like the ink combination.
