When you're young, you live in the moment with no more thought beyond what gratifies you now. As you get older, an unconscionable amount of time is spent thinking about what is going to break down next; car, appliances, home repairs, etc. I like how you ended your video; with thoughts of gratitude for your blessings and recognition of the people who've lost everything.

Thank you for your video. I want you to know that you inspired me to read Massimo’s book and I am following along with the exercises and the guided journaling. As you mentioned I often find it hard to reflect on the theme for each week … but I do try and make the time. I hope to make it to the end of the 52 weeks and to be able to reflect on how it has helped me change.

Seeing things from the point of the vastness of time and space does help. I’ll definitely put that into practice. Great stuff as always!

Really enjoyed the video. We lost my mother in law last week and it was the first holiday without her, but we were able to enjoy each others company today and had a traditional dinner like she would have wanted. It is a matter of perspective and how you deal with the grief. We can carry on and remember/honor her by having the same enthusiasm for family time and continue to care for each other. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving day.
