As a viewer I like to pause when the grid appears and play myself, before finishing the video. It would have been helpful to know 50+ saves was career instead of season.
Literally dude…I do the same exact thing and the same thing happened to me. I couldn’t figure out royals or rangers +50 saves to save my life. Now knowing it’s career instead of season, I would’ve had the grid done in about 3 minutes 😂
Shoutout to Dan Quisenberry, one of the great closers of the 80s and played for the Royals. He got over 200 in Kansas City with a submarine delivery. He was never a strikeout guy but still managed to be one of the best closers ever at his best, and no one remembers him now. I only thought of him because he would qualify for the 50+ save category for the Royals.
Homer Bailey came to mind for me like it did for BBD but sadly the best strikeout year he had was in 2013 with 199 SO, like Wade Davis and his 49 saves
40+ HR: KCR: Jorge Soler, TEX: Josh Hamilton, CIN: Johnny Bench. 200+ K: KCR: Zack Greinke, TEX: Nolan Ryan, CIN: Tom Seaver. 50+ SV: KCR: Greg Holland, TEX: Neftali Feliz, CIN: Randy Myers. U HAVE TO BE MORE CLEAR ON SV STAT FOR THIS 1 CAUSE ITS VERY CONFUSING
This is always tough to watch when its your team because you scream all the guys that no one but your fanbase can remember in this sort of game. Reds 40+ HR and I'm screaming "GEORGE FOSTER!"
The KC Kelvim someone mentioned is Kelvim Herrera; he mostly pitched the 7th or 8th inning with the Davis/Holland reliever group. KC 50+ saves: Jeff Montgomery ( maybe? ) Cincy 40+ HR: Duvall ( maybe? ) Tex 40+ HR: Jeff Burroughs ( really random pick ) Cincy 200+ K: Cueto ( maybe? ) The KC 40+ HR list is really short. When Soler or Perez had their big year it passed the franchise record of Balboni which was like 36 or 38.
It would be interesting to see one where it's 3 teams and then a player who had multiple seasons of a certain stat. For example Brewer with three 30 HR seasons and then you have Braun as an answer or maybe Braves pitcher with four 200 K seasons and you got Smoltz.
1:16 (easy because it's my 3 favorite teams) Salvador Perez, Josh Hamilton Eugenio Suarez Zack Greinke, Nolan Ryan, Johnny Cueto Jeff Montgomery, John Wetteland, Jeff Brantley
Royals: Perez Greinke and Holland Rangers: Hamilton Darvish and Feliz Red: Dunn Cueto and Francisco Cordero Less than a minute Like the comment before. The 50 saves threw me off.
I really hope the saves are career saves because the Rangers have never had a closer with 50 saves. Assuming we're going with 50+ career saves, here's how I'd fill out the brackets Salvador Perez Alex Rodriguez Johnny Bench Dennis Leonard Nolan Ryan Tom Seaver Dan Quisenberry Neftali Feliz Aroldis Chapman Jay Buhner Duke Snider Gorman Thomas Randy Johnson Don Sutton Corbin Burnes Norm Charlton Todd Worrell Francisco Cordero
The last guy actually got a Reds 200+ K guy while he was trying to guess Rangers closers. Except he said “Not Volquez, but Neftalí Feliz”. Wonder if they would’ve given him Volquez if he hadn’t said “not.”
As a viewer I like to pause when the grid appears and play myself, before finishing the video. It would have been helpful to know 50+ saves was career instead of season.
Dude that ruined it for me lol
Same, I hope they can find a way to specify which stats are single season and which are career, cause that totally messed me up lol
Literally dude…I do the same exact thing and the same thing happened to me. I couldn’t figure out royals or rangers +50 saves to save my life. Now knowing it’s career instead of season, I would’ve had the grid done in about 3 minutes 😂
LITERALLY SAME
Dude I was wondering because I do the same and then just had to give up and look in the comments

SPOILERS
I cant believe there was only one Nolan Ryan callout, or BBD getting nervous with Griffey right there at the end
Wow I can't believe you fell for that BBD trick Dalton.
Wondering how Adam Dunn wasn't IMMEDIATELY said for Reds 40+ HRs. After all he did it 4 times in a row...
Faxxx
Came here to say this
Dude, they couldn't think of NOLAN RYAN.
seriously i feel like that's the easiest one
It shows how young they are to not pick Dunn.
Adrian Beltré didn’t hit 40 in Texas, he hit 40 in LA with the dodgers
You sir are correct, twice this has happened in these
Ronny always picks the same ones as me lmao. Wade Davis having 49 was a brutal blow for my grid
Everyone forgets Holland was the closer for those teams
Feely with the absolute meltdown in Tic-Tac-Toe strategy.
Maybe I'm old but I'm screaming at the phone "Adam Dunn - 40 HR Reds..." dude did it 4 times in a row
I was thinking the exact same thing. He probably also had a couple 200 K seasons in that run 😂
I was yelling Frank Robinson lol
Spoilers:
Dalton playing Tic-Tac-Toe and BBD playing chess 😂
He seriously fumbled the bag
Dudes a dork with those glasses. Total dweeb boy. I mean, who does that guy think he is? But, man…. He knows his stuff! Impressive!
Griffey Jr. was instantly what popped into my head for Reds with 40 homer seasons … surprisingly he only did it once in his first year with the club
Same, but then I doubted myself because he was always injured with them.
@@nickhalfmann8397 yeah sort of a Pujols with the Angels situation lol
Dude... Nolan Ryan did not only have a 200K season for Texas, He had a THREE HUNDRED K season for Texas. And he was 42 years old!
BBD is a walking baseball library. Consistently doing great in all trivia shows on this channel.
Surprised no one went with A-Rod for Texas 40+ HR, or even for Seattle in the finals.
or Griffey for Seattle
Beltre never hit 40 in a season for the Rangers
Yeah I had him on my grid and then when I double checked after his best is like 38 with the rangers
For the last section I thought of Rollie Fingers before Josh Hader for 50+ saves for the Brewers and I am astounded at myself for this.
ALL-TIME FLEECING by BBD in the final round. What a golden god.
Homer Bailey came to mind for me like it did for BBD but sadly the best strikeout year he had was in 2013 with 199 SO, like Wade Davis and his 49 saves
Dalton has worse tic tac toe location than Rick Ankiel with the yips
Should've clarified up front that these were total stats accrued while on the team rather than single season stats, otherwise another fun episode!
Jarrod Saltalamacchia is the GOAT closer imo.
He’s a catcher :/
@@jhenrypp7:00
Dalton just played bad tic tac toe here.
BBD with a 1000 IQ play
The saves being the only one that was all time rather than one season was a little goofy, but certainly makes it easier!
Once it became an all time stat why did no one guess Dan Quisenberry?
40+ HR: KCR: Jorge Soler, TEX: Josh Hamilton, CIN: Johnny Bench. 200+ K: KCR: Zack Greinke, TEX: Nolan Ryan, CIN: Tom Seaver. 50+ SV: KCR: Greg Holland, TEX: Neftali Feliz, CIN: Randy Myers. U HAVE TO BE MORE CLEAR ON SV STAT FOR THIS 1 CAUSE ITS VERY CONFUSING
40 + Hrs: Soler, Gonzalez, George Foster
200 + Ks: David Cone, Nolan Ryan, Jose Rijo
50 + Saves: Quissenberry, Wetteland, John Franco
One row for one of your next videos should be to name a career lifer for that team - someone who was with that team for their entire career
Ronny got some entrance music. Much deserved.
This is always tough to watch when its your team because you scream all the guys that no one but your fanbase can remember in this sort of game. Reds 40+ HR and I'm screaming "GEORGE FOSTER!"
really disappointed with the lack of Nolan Ryan's lol
40 HRs for Texas is just automatic
Gallo
A-Rod
Palmeiro
Hamilton
Teixeira
Gonzalez
The Mexican Jimmy. 😂
Amazing that Aroldis Chapman has now played for all 3 teams represented here
Jomboy Media good stuff...and Jolly Olive! Yea!!
So hilarious that all you guys have cj Wilson so quick to mind. Dude had one good year here
Nice to see Danny Graves gettin some love
Dunn and Griffey were the first ones to pop in my head
The KC Kelvim someone mentioned is Kelvim Herrera; he mostly pitched the 7th or 8th inning with the Davis/Holland reliever group.
KC 50+ saves: Jeff Montgomery ( maybe? )
Cincy 40+ HR: Duvall ( maybe? )
Tex 40+ HR: Jeff Burroughs ( really random pick )
Cincy 200+ K: Cueto ( maybe? )
The KC 40+ HR list is really short. When Soler or Perez had their big year it passed the franchise record of Balboni which was like 36 or 38.

50 saves with the royals was one of those that i knew as soon as i saw it that i would never get it in a million years
Jorge Soler, Juan Gonzalez, Adam Dunn
Zack Greinke, Nolan Ryan, Johnny Cueto
Greg Holland, John Wetteland, Aroldis Chapman
1:16 (easy because it's my 3 favorite teams)
Salvador Perez, Josh Hamilton Eugenio Suarez
Zack Greinke, Nolan Ryan, Johnny Cueto
Jeff Montgomery, John Wetteland, Jeff Brantley
BBD with the Strategy!
Perez-Hamilton-Griffey
Greinke-Darvish-Cueto
Holland-Feliz-Chapman
gallo....
40+ HR: SEA: Ken Griffey Jr., LAD: Duke Snider, MIL: Christian Yelich. 200+ K: SEA: Felix Hernandez, LAD: Sandy Koufax, MIL: Yovani Gallardo. 50+ SV: SEA: Edwin Diaz, LAD: Eric Gagne, MIL: Josh Hader
Moyer never had 200+ K on any team
Royals: Perez Greinke and Holland
Rangers: Hamilton Darvish and Feliz
Red: Dunn Cueto and Francisco Cordero
Less than a minute
Like the comment before. The 50 saves threw me off.
5:00 WHAT KINDA KNOCK OFF HAT IS THAT MANNNNNNNN?????? Look at that C its nowhere NEAR the rest of the word CHAMPIONS … WHAT IN THE WORLD???????? 🤣
Woulda had that shit in under 20 secs if I knew it was 50 CAREER saves
How did no one think of Adam Dunn? Are we that old now that people who played in the 2000s are considered ancient lmao
I cant figure out why Reds 40+ HRs was such a struggle....
Adam Dunn...king of the 3 true outcome....was popping off 40 homers every year in the 2000s
I really hope the saves are career saves because the Rangers have never had a closer with 50 saves. Assuming we're going with 50+ career saves, here's how I'd fill out the brackets
Salvador Perez Alex Rodriguez Johnny Bench
Dennis Leonard Nolan Ryan Tom Seaver
Dan Quisenberry Neftali Feliz Aroldis Chapman
Jay Buhner Duke Snider Gorman Thomas
Randy Johnson Don Sutton Corbin Burnes
Norm Charlton Todd Worrell Francisco Cordero
How did it take so long for someone to say Griffy for Cincy
How A-Rod wasnt said for the Rangers kills me.
Love this series. Hate the stat episodes. Waaay prefer the multi team ones.
Wetteland for the Rangers 50 saves. Bad omission by Jolly.
Basically any Rangers pitching stat guess Nolan Ryan to win
Surprised no one said Yu Darvish for Rangers 200 Ks, I guess everyone still had CJ Wilson in the back of their heads from refguess😂
Great vid
This one felt particularly easy to me 😂
Man you guys need to pick up a history book. This quiz was EASY….
out here yelling Adam Dunn
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Joey Gallo for the Rangers.
First thing that popped into my mind the second I saw Cincinnati was Adam Dunn
Dan Quisenberry… Adam Dunn… Brett Saberhagen…
No more hatless jolly olive
The most saves Graves had in a year for Cincinnati was 41
I'm surprised no one said arod for Texas 40+ hr. Dude played in Texas 3 years and hit 52, 57 and 47. (Yes I know about the doping but still)
The Adam Dunn disrespect was real here
My boi doesn't remember Adam Dunn, I would of said Josh Hamilton for Texas 40+ homers.
Rangers 40+ HRs is EASYYYY. A rod popped off
Saves for Royals: Dan Quisenberry: 238
I realize these guys are young, but c'mon: Dan Quisenberry--238 saves for the Royals.
Nobody got Coco Cordero for 50 saves, would've worked for Reds or Rangers
It was a quick grid but I got stuck on rangers closer 😩
BBD, Mariners do have an all-time pitcher, but it isn’t Randy😭
Either probably Jamie Moyer or King Felix
WHERE ARE THE ADAM DUNN'S?!?!
Jeff Montgomery!
I'm clearly super old because my answers are like George Foster, Dan Quisenberry and Tom Seaver.
I was doing so well until I saw 50 saves lol.
Wade Davis had 47 saves with the royals
George Foster had a 50 HR season with Reds believe
Soria and Adam Dunn were two easy ones guys
Just the title, u gotta be kidding me right? I thought of 4 guys the SECOND I read the title. Did u think that's difficult?
How TF do you not automatically go to Nolan Express!??
Perez, Hamilton, ?
Greinke, Darvish, ?
?, Feliz, Chapman
do a few per video
Did Lance Lynn have 200 ks with Texas? Jeff Montgomery had over 50 saves for KC.
Adrian beltre?
Haven't watched it yet
Surprised Adam Dunn was never mentioned for the Reds
The last guy actually got a Reds 200+ K guy while he was trying to guess Rangers closers. Except he said “Not Volquez, but Neftalí Feliz”. Wonder if they would’ve given him Volquez if he hadn’t said “not.”
Juan González.
Did Adam Dunn stop existing yesterday orrrr
Wait I’m confused, does it work if the player got the accolade while on a different team because I don’t think Beltre ever hit 40 HRs with Texas
No royal ever got 50 saves??? WTH
Quisenberry ffs
CJ wilson has 52 saves for the Rangers
No love for my cousin Bill Swift?
Royals 200+ K I immediately thought of Kevin Appier
Chapman never had a 50 anytime in his career neither did Holland
