Thanks, this worked on 18 February 2024, When my hard drive gave up, I started with a new windows 7 Premium installation, I already had the Disc Plus original code numbers and worked my way through the video instructions, Only problem at the windows 10 installation stage was it didn't let keep anything, so I unticked the box, this was the only way the windows 10 would run and finish, But it didn't matter as I didn't have anything anyway, Thank you Very much, Great video instruction !!, Appreciated !!, Cheers

Upgraded on 12/14/23. All your steps worked. The Win 10 ISO Creation Tool worked. My activation key didn't carry over so I will be purchasing a new license, using the code MTT25. Just waiting on the key to be delivered.
UPDATE: Got the digital key and added to computer. There was a problem Activating Windows because it said that I do not have a valid digital license or product key. Tried the Troubleshooting Activation and it keep going for 10 mins so I cancelled the process and restarted the computer. During the restart, there were Windows Updates that hadn't been completed, so it started the process to continuing applying the Updates. After reboot, the Windows Activation key got applied and my Windows 10 Pro is officially Activated. Thanks for the detailed help! I am a subscriber too!

As of 5/25 this link for the download still works. Had to redo cause my son messed his pc up and had to reinstall. Hadnt gotten to the install yet. but the DL did work! I will be putting this on a back up CD and never getting rid of again. TYVM!!!
As of next day this did NOT work. It keeps asking for a windows 10 key which i do not have. Just 7. And when i put that in it says its not a valid key.

NOT WORKING 24/07/01
Was able to use windows media installer. Everything appears to work and install including updates. When windows installs and reboots for the first time an error appears. LinkID=528892. Will try and install using ISO.
I have followed all the way up to installing Win 10. It load and start counting from 0% and sucessfully went to 100%. However, when the next screen showing it may restart few times and 30 sec later, it pops up a message saying "Fail to install Window 10"😭. Did anyone facing the same issue but managed to upgrade to win10 eventually? Thanks heaps

Hey! Thanks for this! I dowloaded it on the 12/1/2024. I had issues with the first reboot but after some troubleshooting it worked.
However, i downloaded the 32 bit instead of 64 bit. How would I reinstall windows for the 64 bit? Do i delete all the old exe then get the 64 bits? Or just use the media creation tool?
Hey, it's a pleasure! So look, if you had a Windows 7 32bit installed, you can only upgrade to Windows 10 32bit. If you want 64 bit then you have to format and do a clean install of Windows 10 64bit. There is no other way to go from 32bit to 64bit. Hope this helps.

I don't know why it happens but I think you will need to do a clean install of Win10, the upgrade won't work.

I haven't seen that before, did it reverse the upgrade? If so, try and use a program like CCleaner to clean the registry on Windows 7 and then try upgrading again.
upon running the setup.exe as admin, I had a pop up saying "Failed to launch the setup application." what should I do with it? I also tried doing the sfc /scannow but still having the same result

You can purchase a cheap Windows 10 license with the link in the description and then activate Windows 10. Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has now stopped converting the Windows 7 & 8 licenses to Windows 10 licenses like I mentioned in the video, but for me it was still working when I recorded the video.
02/03/2024 Did this guide from windows 7 home worked perfect, was having the date/time error code before but the bypass worked fine also used the English international version and no issues

Never heard of that issue before, you might have a hardware issue. You can try and use system restore to undo the changes.

I have a question about the activation process.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate for years now, and I want to upgrade to Windows 10.
The Windows 7 is an original copy, but suddenly, the license was gone and now Windows treats it as a pirated copy (black desktop screen and all)
I bought a lot of Windows 7 activation keys to reactivate it, but none of them worked, so I'm stuck with this "pirated windows" state.
I plan to download the Windows 10 Media Cration Tool/ISO, but it will work on a pirated Windows 7? I do have a Windows 10 activation key, though.
Is a Windows 10 activation key enough, or do I NEED to have an activated Windows 7 copy before the upgrade?

Hi there, so as far as I know, the Windows 7 has to be activated, or else you can't upgrade to 10. If you say that you have a Windows 10 activation key, I would just do a clean install of Windows 10 and then activate it with the legal key that you have.

There's SO much stuff from decades over that's almost impossible to just do a manual transfer. (and also, I'd lose my programs)
Are you sure there isn't any way to do it? I tried activating Windows 7 with over 8 different keys, tried the promp command, but nothing worked.

I followed the steps but got bad image error "sources/spwizeng.dll is either not design to run on Windows contain an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator " please help

I updated all the Win7 updates, performed all the steps on this page, changed my browser to BB10, downloaded, unzipped, and ran setup. Windows starts the upgrade, gathers updates, switches to a blue screen "installing windows 10", gets to 38%, then kicks back to Win7 and displays a message box "Windows 10 installation has failed" (OK) button only. No error code or reason. Windows 7 is activated, has an OEM windows key. Antivirus is uninstalled, drive has 286GB free space, computer meets all win10 requirements. Been trying to upgrade to win10 for more than a week now, maybe 25 times. Trying different things each time.
Any suggestions are welcome,

Hey man, I wish I could help and I have also encountered similar issues before. Unfortunately, in all those cases I had to do a clean install of Windows 10, it was impossible for me to perform the upgrade from 7 to 10.

@@memstechtips The speaker logo on the widget doesn't have a "X" mark, but i cant hear any sounds on my pc. I tried to updae the software and after that it says my pc are successfully installed the new driver and i restart it but it doesn't work, i tried in different method in yt but none of them help the issue. i checked the jack on my pc one by one but it doesn't work too.

As long as you have the option to keep all of your files and apps selected during the upgrade, it will be kept and should also work perfectly fine on Windows 10. Lemme know how it goes!
