Saw this truck last week in Holland. A very well designed vehicle. You won't find anything like this in the States...
Wish you all the best on your travels, C+R!
I would also give it an option of 6x6 and rear turning wheel for getting around tight corners..
Good video, thanks for sharing!
they did not build one part of that truck or the pod placed on the back of it but i would love to see how that was actually made. I like the old lady holding it while they pick the box i feel she played a vital role in the success of this vehicle, i have been trying to get my old lady to help me in the garage but she gets nervous around suspended loads over a ton
1 question ad why didn't they lengthen the wheel base more more and stick the cab behind the front wheels and put a nose over motor make it easier for maintenance..
I would also make it a static height 6'8"-7'5"
If you are going to mount it on the back by Christ take the rear tray off 1st..
In my opinion,
Using ISO blocks in the build, on all (8) eight corner's, brings more opportunities to use the Truck for other duties and a modular standard, would increase sales.
Example, I could order a container, built to my specs, and when completed, can be shipped anywhere in the world and mount up to anything using standard dimensions for the ISO blocks.
And why are they doubling up on platforms? One platform in the container, and another fixed to the truck?
I would do literally anything for one of these....though it will never happen, I am love!!!!
Which panels you advice ?
how much?,
How much does something like this cost as a basic finished shell, anyone know...I'm looking into doing this in the near future. None of the companies i've looked at give a standard shell price for a particular truck unless i fill out loads of forms. I'd rather go with a company who shows their prices on a website with different standard shells for certain types of 4x4 vehicles...Upfront is always best. I realize there's so many different variations however, it wouldn't hurt to list prices, sizes and the vehicles that have previously been fitted out by these companies so you have a ruff idea of pricing!
More accurate title: How to put a box on a truck.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha so true
B
The German versions of these trucks are a lot better designed and more reliable
