That’s what the Catholic Church has taught her. You go to church and confess to the priest and he forgives you. Easy right? Just leave God out of it entirely and this is what happens.

I would have to say though (I'm always looking for what I can learn from other's situations), as a Protestant, I can see many of us falling into these types of patterns as well. Not nearly as egregious lol but it's an easy thing for the human heart to do.
"As long as I'm not THIS bad" or "As long as I keep THIS much Jesus in my life" and we create these excuses for following the broad road instead of the narrow road (referring to Matthew 7:13-14).
I think the area where I'm guilty is not getting enough sleep. It seems silly, but I am well aware of when I need to get to bed to function well. Well aware of how not getting sleep hurts my body, impacts my ability to live out my calling. But it's just a "bad habit."
Am I out here doing only fans? Heck no lol but I do have areas of my life that I still need to surrender over to God that if I'm honest, in the back of my mind seem too small to care about. But being a disciple encompasses our whole lives.
I watched the whole podcast all 4 hours lol ruslan looked so done after an hour. But props to his boldness and fighting the good fight. This is spiritual warfare you could cut the tension in the room with a knife when he brought up Jesus.

The beautiful thing is that even if (seemingly) no one on the panel truly considered what y’all said, somebody listening at home was all ears. Somebody who would not have heard anything about Jesus otherwise but was still in need of a solution. Never know whose heart you’re planting seeds in.
Which is why I also think it’s cool how patient y’all were with the blonde lady. Someone at home probably took note of your patience against her defensiveness and it made your message that much more effective.

Father God, my strength is gone. After suffering a heart attack two years ago and battling lupus I feel weak. Please give me strength. I will always keep faith and trust in you. Even as I constantly struggle to provide groceries for my children. Walking with faith is all we can do as christian’s. Like most single mothers things are hard on me.Both of my sons are autistic, it’s a lot on me. I’m constantly struggling to pay rent. I’m overwhelmed and now that I’m home schooling my sons I’m having trouble getting school supplies. Heavenly and merciful Father, I come before your glorious throne today, in humble adoration please help me overcome my struggles and my constant fears. Amen!
I don't know a lot to help your situation but I do know that you can apply for government assistance to be able to afford groceries. I'm on that assistance myself. I will say a prayer for you and your situation

Oh wow. 😔 I'm halfway through the 4.5 hour episode and holy moly, some of it was quite cringey and painful to watch. Both you and Lila represented Jesus so well. I felt like a proud parent at times. This verse comes to mind...1 Peter 3:15-“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect...“ and that poor blonde 🥺 She didn't know which way was up or which way was down. And you can tell that at the core of who she is, she is hurting. The bible allows you to judge
Bible says as a Christian, you are supposed to "Judge righteously " a few different times.
There is no such thing as judging righteously if it is not an order to judge directly from the lord. My own thoughts, opinions, and actions are not what makes me righteous it’s being in the walk with the Jesus Christ, leaning on him, and depending on him and having a deep understanding of who Christ is in me and how I am in the body of Christ. Her sin is not worst than anything I’ve done it’s just different. So people of Christ, you should always hesitate before you speak to condemn someone who lacks the knowledge of God compared to you or others.
And remember, the only one who makes us righteous is the Lord Jesus. Intercede for those who don’t know by praying when your thoughts and opinions are strong for them. If you have time to think and explain a wrong that doesn’t affect you or your life, you have time to pray for them. Have mercy and grace as the lord has for us and continue to draw souls closer to God instead of creating spaces that reject him more.
Check your heart in the midst of these actions. Is it for self righteousness and pride or is it to help the Lord win another soul? Either way he’s omnipresent and knows even you decide not to self reflect.
Where there is sin, there is greater grace.

To "Judge" and to be "The Judge" are also definitionally different. Judge condemns, but Christians are kind of the jury, judging what is good and bad.
