I didn't really believe you, but I had just finished making a bone broth and used the marrow from the crock pot and tried it. It was good. I liked it, but I think that now having been carnivore for a week, my tastes have shifted, I think if I had tried it earlier, I might have been disappointed. So, I was wrong, thanks for sharing. Now, off to your ice cream video!
The first time you get a bad egg you'll understand why you should always crack them into a separate container. I would hate for you to waste of all of that great marrow from a bad egg.
Oh my goodness! I know what you mean ..I had a bad egg once and it was quite gross. I was so confused 😐 I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time.
Would have been great if you could have added a weight to the marrow, so I know the ratio … And could you freeze them for preservation? Great video, thank you very much for the breakfast idea! ❤️
They look really tasty and judging by how Daniel was after eating yours, they must have been delicious! I am not great with egg whites though, so could egg yolks and bone marrow be sufficient ?
can you eat this with fruit?🤩& I was wondering what can one substitute if you do not see the bone marrow to make it different from ordinary fried egg? Thanks!
You can totally add fruit if you want! You can mix egg and a light cheese like a mozzarella, or just egg yolk, or egg and liver, or egg and ground beef (little bit).
Has anyone tried to make this with beef tallow instead of marrow? I'm asking because tallow can be whipped, so maybe the pancakes would turn out fluffier.
I'm seeing my bitcher tomorrow 😍 get myself some nice big marrow bones 🦴 nothing better than seeing someone enjoy their food! I've been searching for some good carnivore recipes as I have recently just going carnivore from Keto. By the way, it's not so much about 'diet', its about eating the natural human diet the way we designed to eat prior to agriculture. You've got to remember for millions of years our diet was meat, large, fatty, meaty animals. (If we didn't eat meat we'd also still be hanging from the trees with a much smaller brain) Without those animals wich humans hunted into extinction we would not be here today talking about diets etc. because we humans are the only (sometimes stupid) species which is confused about what we're supposed to eat. no animal in its natural habitat has any doubt about what it needs to eat according to its species. Human beings - the intelligent ones - are the only ones who debate and split hairs over what food we're meant to be eating. We've forgotten to hunt and gather, supermarkets and drive-throughs have made us lazy; and there are no 'essential carbohydrates' that the human body needs to survive, we need proteins and fats, etc. That's why we thrive on a meat-based diet. Yes, I understand the ethical issues of eating meat from feedlot animals aren't ideal and I often would feel the sadness of such animals, that is cruel that that animal isn't raised well, fed well or cared for and respected because they do nourish us. So I suggest go hunt and forage. It's in our DNA 👍
Thanks so much for taking the time to write this. You took the words right out of my mouth! I think the word diet labels something as short term, with a focus on achieving a specific goal like weight loss and once that goal is reached the individual usually goes back to eating the foods that got them in trouble in the first place. Eating ethically raised animal foods that are richest in bioavailable nutrients has truly changed our lives for the better. There is a deeper connection with the food that we eat and the health that we feel, and this is something that did not exist for us before. It is so easy for people to ignore and/or dismiss evidence advocating for animal based diets and instead to only see it from an ethical standpoint. There's SO much new evidence from credible studies that flip upside down the nutritional advice we've been given for the last 40+ years, yet people are still regurgitating the same old information that has been disproven. Sometimes people have to hit rock bottom, health wise, to be willing to shift their perspective and that's okay because everyone shifts and grows at their own pace.
I love your channel! Good ideas to bring taste in the carnivore diet! Please continue!
Thank you so much, I appreciate that more than you know! Will do😊

What does it taste like? Does it compare to anything?
It tastes like a crepe
I’m going to make these and then have it as a crepe with smoked salmon 👍🥰😊
Oh wow that sounds delicious! Making us crave smoked salmon.
Just found your channel. Love your calmness. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing! Love it!! Will give this a try. Definitely the best alternative i’ve seen to good ol’ sugar /flour packed pancakes!

love this as well - i usually eat marrow raw and dont love it. this looks awesome with extra butter! Better than Aunt Jemima :)
You won’t even taste the marrow :)
I’m carnivore but when I have carbs I know I shouldn’t have carbs. I can’t sleep. Is this normal?
That looks delicious, pancakes aren’t bad either
Our favourite pancakes♥️
I think I’ll try mine with meat & cheese inside a roll up! Or sour cream. Or bacon. Or whatever meat is left over. For lunch. For appetizers. 😃😃😃😃
The options are endless!!!
Would be good with bacon grease
You probably could use these as “bread” as well
Nicely done! I like your calm demeanor. Where are you?
Thanks, that’s so kind! Greetings from Canada!
If you're using Green pastures you must Benin southern Ontario. I'm glad to see a Canadian Carnivore channel. Greetings from Guelph.
@@Jrodmcn Greetings fellow Canadian :)

They may not work so well with bone marrow. Bone marrow heated kind of just renders down.
I like your pan, what brand is it? Thank you for this video. I need to find some bone marrow.
The brand is called The Rock! You’re very welcome - I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Try to ask your local farmers for bone marrow :)
Adoro sua receita, vou fazer aqui no meu canal, me autoriza? Eu amei.
obrigado! sim, claro!
i know exactly what you mean about the 'sweet'. i had a rare steak the other day and the blood tasted sweet. the instinctual appetite kicking in
Instinctual appetite, I like that.

I haven’t tried.. let me know if you do and how it turns out!
What do you mean whipped tallow? How? Thanks
@@becksbitofblue I melt beef tallow and whip it up like cream (together with Nana mint oil) to use it as a moisturiser on my skin.
perhaps a few blueberries could be dropped into each cooking pancake for a little more sweetness
That’s a fantastic idea!
Cubana?
Romania!
😍😘😗😙😚

So an omelette?
No, not at all. Doesn’t taste like an omelette.
@@ancestralhealing Yeah I was joking, they sure look like omelets though, for the taste, I'm just gonna have to take this guys word for it
Geez.. The 2 preceeding ads and the one embedded in video were plant based products..
"" RUclips. I DON'T EAT PLANTS"" !!!!!!!!! .
Food porn! lol I make these using 4 yolks and 1 egg with bone marrow and they are amazing!
