  • Inspection or access openings and their covers are needed in aircraft for maintenance and repair in hard to reach locations. While simple in design, deciding on creating a nice appearance as well as functional operation requires some thought. In this video, we discuss and demonstrate some basic skills required for installing these access openings in an experimental aircraft. Another great video John! I'll be adding an access panel to the turtledeck of my Ultracub to access the fuel tank and I reached out to Mike at MyKitPlane.com as soon as I saw this vid.
