- We're celebrating the release of Greensky Bluegrass' latest album by doing a special release of our own. Over the summer, we hung out with the group near Telluride, CO and had the chance to film them for a Sitch Session with help from our friends at Mason Jar Music.
The result is one of the most badass performance videos you've ever seen -- and yes, you can hold us to that.

This is by far the best song I've listened to by these guys. The silent film reference brings on some very fun black and white imagery of villains, run away trains and damsels in distress.

just worked security for them by Portland and they were only doing a mic check before the crowd came in but because us metal head security guards like there soundcheck so much they played 4 songs just because we couldn't stop from dancing lol I am now a convert

what's the diference between bluegrass and country?
Bluegrass is typically composed of string bands like you see here and generally play this kind of music to a lesser degree. Its more about than the instruments than the lyrics. That's why these guys all breaks and jam in their songs. Country is basically flip-flopped and currently only about singing about drinking, trucks, cheating, and sometimes churches., with a few exceptions of course.
