So sad to see the state of these places, so much left, so many memories and fascinating things. Thats saddle soap on hearth, keeps saddles supple and shiny. My nan had a treadle sewing machine like that, i loved playing with the big peddle. Amazing place, thank you

What a cool place with all those beautiful pieces of vintage furniture. Love old sewing machines like that one. I had one as a show piece. Love the mirror on the vanity at 18:19, it’s gorgeous and love the vanity itself along with the 2 wardrobes, absolutely beautiful!! What a house!! Really enjoyed this, thanks Alec!!😊

Thanks for another great explore, Alec. You were correct, it was awesome.
It’s been a nice place in its day. As well as the fine buildings, the fitted drapes and pelmets with the upmarket tv (in its day mind!) and leather lounges make me think that it was a reasonably well-to-do family.
I had to chuckle when you said about the stove door on a previous explore as I’d just thought of it as soon as I saw it, and then you’d said about it!! Some great old furniture. The blue and white crockery looked nice. Very traditional farmhouse! Lovely Singer sewing machine too. Liked the dolls’ beds. Some wee lass has enjoyed them in the past. I
Sad that some people need to trash things even to graffiti in the dust, especially when you’re so respectful.
I like the way you’ve interposed your photos in the video. Thanks again.

Great explore, beautiful old sewing machine and cabinets. The China was gorgeous, the fireplaces were both very pretty, a shame the one was broken at the bottom. That paper was in great shape to be dated 1934. Pretty fancy television for back in the day. Such a shame all the leather cushions were gone. There is the cupboard under the stairs 😁. Doll bed, the antique furniture is very nice, a shame it is left to rot, I find it strange that all this furniture is left, but there are no beds. Loved it 💞

I would have liked to see inside the farm buildings. Was it a dairy farm? It looks old enough to have a bothy so there might be evidence of the farm workers. The binder you found in the cart shed belongs in a museum, It was the forerunner to the combine harvester and was revolutionary in its day.

The cake tins are for making fancy little choux pastry delicacies, which would usually be filled with whipped cream & have chocolate on top. We all had to learn to make them in the girl guides. I think it was part of what we had to do for the Hostess badge. We also did meringues too.

Frame 23:50 Looks like a young Princess Margaret photograph. I guess, the family, or person living there, had some dealings with the Royals at Windsor. Maybe he was in charge of their prize horses, care and horse back training for Princesses Margaret and Elizabeth. 🤔🔎

Amazing that people still assume that the guy may have worked there. So old fashion. Maybe the madame of the house was the one who worked for the family, maybe as a house maid or teacher, baby nurse for Princess Margaret? Maybe she sacrifice her best years and couldn't have own kids afterwards and that's why she still a doll and doll bed and doll clothes worth to be worn by a doll of the princess? Or maybe, not maybe, I'm pretty sure, our fantasy are just galopping away and they were just fans of the royal family.
Edit: the yellow rose at 25:08 could be a royal present too, back than it has the meaning if friendship, happy memories, sunshine, a present you sent to someone to show you still care and love. This rose even made it to a royal porcelain decor .

Amazing that the windows are largely intact. At 16:24 someone has put a tiny 'soldier' decal on the upper right window - likely this was a child's bedroom. The tiny bed was probably a 'doll bed'...

Some of the furniture like those bedroom sets are amazing, such quality and couldn#t be got today apart from Antique shops.I hope vandals don't get in and trash them ,though the damp must be causing damage too

I think that since I last saw this place some of the furnishings have gone missing including a blue rocking dolls cradle with an old doll in it.

Omg finally!!! Love these little cottage farms --- ohhhhooo maybe there'll be stairs or rafters for you to hang from lol.
Edited to add - love the Scottish farm houses better with the huge thick walls and deep windows better -- and there was no swinging from the house lol but still loved this - thank you

Love this place... those dishes are lovely and that hutch they are in. The singer sewing machine still looks beauriful. So sad to see it wither away. 😞😟😢 a car how awesome. And it looks in hood shape too, not .....wow.
