Hey guys if you enjoyed this explore and first look inside this beautiful family manor. Hit the thumbs up and share the video out, really helps the channel out
Excellent find Adam and Dale. I recommend your channel to friends. Keep it up travelling around and finding these places in Trinket.
What’s the other persons channel called ??
You guys should tell the historical society. Some of that amazing stuff can be preserved and placed In a museum In a museum.
You guys should get ahold of the historical society some of that stuff can be preserved and placed in a museum
@@LOVEISNOTAGAME1 Tony two times?? Imma get the papers get the papers.
I don't know the legalities of explorating abandoned places. However, when you find such beautiful antique treasures such as marble topped wash basins and beautiful antique furniture, pictures, artifacts, etc. that should be saved for preservation and future generations admiration. I'm wondering is there not a way for you to work with local historians to help save them?
I totally agree with u
These antiques are priceless
I thought the same as well
Wonder if they had permission to even explore their.
Excellent idea!!!
I agree with other comments here. This stuff is museum worthy and NEEDS to be saved for future generations to enjoy. To let it go to waste would be unethical.
Pfaff sewing machine - established in 1862, Germany. Pfaff still produces a wonderful sewing, embroidery & quilting machines today.
Hope the historical society can preserve many of those wonderful art pieces & pieces of furniture from that amazing home.
Please do notify someone who can help. Thanks for sharing!
My Pfaff is over 80 yrs old and still going strong. I recently gave an even older Pfaff in excellent condition to a friend who needed a machine to make things for her business. She promised to take good care of it.
Did you notice the hand embroidery on the backs of some chairs? Embroidery is an art, and it takes a lot of time and work to do. Please show us close-ups of embroidery when you see it! Thanks!
When I saw those embroidered chair backs it took me back about 60 years to my Grandparents old cottage ... I felt quite tearful
My grandmother started teaching me embrodery when I was seven. It took me years to become really good at it. She showed me the stiches that were also used to mend clothes. In my 20's during the 1970's I earned extra money for my family doing enbroidery on denim, especially jackets and the flare part of jeans as it was very popular then.
It is definitely a lost art.
@@sammyjo8109 ( (7
@@lindasevenoaks5522 I had rewind on my cellphone to see them, yes . My mother taught me how to embroider sidecloths, never put them on chairs I know exactly how you felt seeing them and I kept learning after that until I was able to trade some of my work for somethings. People don't realize how much time it takes to make even something like a chair cover. This whole video is heartbreaking just to all the china etc accumulating dust.
I would have thought that when someone dies that a government agency would search out any relatives, no matter how distant. To have nobody who would care about the family who lived here, for the place itself, the property is so sad. Everything that must have meant so much to the owners just left to rot. Can’t understand it. You do great explores. Thank you very much for making me truly LOL at some of your comments! As others have said, you respect for the places you explore is much appreciated.
When someone dies and not relatives can be found the government does step in and passes to heir hunter companies to trace distant people usually grandparents off spring if no one traced it goes to the government I think Duchy of Lancaster or Treasury - there is a BBC program called Heir Hunters which describes this.
The government can't just take property, thats why its still there
I know The only one in the family left
heir hunter should chase the family. If no family can be found sooner and later government will take the property.
@Archie Meredith I hope you told that family member to get over there straight away and get the important things out!!!! Better than vandals finding it!
I love the amount of respect you have while touring these amazing relics. Nicely done!
I couldn’t do this because I’d just feel the need to take all the abandoned photos and re-home them at my house 😭 I’m so obsessed with these videos but it makes me so sad to see a whole life abandoned and they’re more or less forgotten about! Like who cleans this up eventually? I feel sad that this is probably where this family are forgotten about!
I am obsessed to
Left until falling down no one claims etc then bull dozers move in ground sold for housing. Someone who owned the property will then appear to claim money for ground sale. As no property tax to pay as no property standing....
@melaniedaly4321 me too
Adam once again you never disappointed us here this evening.Just MAGNIFICENT!!!!
Thank you.
Question guys…. Doing these history visits… has anyone from the families EVER seen your shows and reached out to you? Just curious. Thank you for the peeks inside others history. Stay well!!
Job well done adam
Raj from south africa
Sprits do exits
Scary though ..
Shame no one replied….seems that a lot of us have the same question!
@@dogwalker338 I was just told that one family saw their family home on RUclips, found the group that took the pictures and then sued them. They were trying to blame the group for the damage done to the home by looters but the group had proof that it was damaged before they got there. They no longer investigate abandoned places.
@@emeraldmayfair How sad. If they were soooo concerned, why haven't they done anything with the possessions at the very least. I think they thought they saw easy money. Had nothing to do with whether or not it was trashed.
@@1432bso sad but unfortunately it's the world we live in. 😕
Wow so much to be cared for and no one left to do this- truly Beautiful-what a shame!!!!!! Remarkable about how much respect you showed and how it hadn't been vandalized or desecrated with graffiti-The English really show respect -this at one time probably could have been worthy of being showcased on "Escape to the Country"-What could be done with what's left-there's probably people who would appreciate and cherish items that are here. The U.K. IS TRULY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Cheers from Canada!!!!!!
Very nostalgic. Beautifull property with all its original features. Was once upon a time someone’s life their home, very sad. Hope someone saves it. Thankyou for the video.
I loved hearing the history god bless the loving son ...
The antiques alone in that house are worth a fortune
That's what I thought but to some people it's just old tatt.
Such as ❓
The singer sewing machine will be worth a lot but give it to a museum 😢
The reason for the fire place in the bathroom was because this would have been a bedroom and not a bathroom they would have had bathed in tinned baths and you would have bathed in the kitchen.
This wash basin and jug is what you would have washed in
I agree with you Adam, they are bastards to dump people's stuff out all over the place. So shameful.
Glass ornament is actually called Epergne vase it’s a multitude of small vases which would have been placed with fresh flowers daily!
I’m glad you explained what the vase was. I really want something like that. So thank you 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
You call it a Clothes Dryer. In the States we call it a Wringer. When attached to machine it is a Wringer Washer.
The sewing machine is a Pfaff. The P is silent, so pronounced Faff.
Thank you for showing us so many interesting places!
Wish someone would save the wonderful furniture. This was a very interesting find. Did enjoy it Adam
It was a nice one wasn't it glad you enjoyed
My exact thoughts
yep id restore house back to 100% time correct if it was my
It is all moldy and out of date. It is beyond saving.
@@StanSwan exactly not worth the trouble or money
The spoons collection was from tea-caddies with loose tea leaves, before tea-bags. The animal carcases were smoked and hung up to dry. I was brought up on an old croft house in the west highlands of Scotland in the 1950's. We eventually had electric, one bulb in the kitchen ceiling, powered from a generator in an old hen-house.. The clothes dryer you spoke of was called a mangle, used to put sheets and blankets through in the spring, for an annual clean! This house is just full of memories which have surfaced seeing all this. Thankyou so much for visiting this old home and videoing the contents.
Such a shame its slowly falling apart. I hope someone saves the beautiful wardrobes and other nice old furniture. Thanks for showing us this home.
I found all the gorgeous wallpaper very interesting. And is coming back into fashion. What a lovely time capsule
Beautiful yet again ! Wish these houses could be saved..
I recently came across your channel whilst being off work with covid , absolutely fascinating and very well done, but most of all your respect for the belongings. Well done and I look forward to more.
This has blown me away. This one was truly unique. Beautiful. Thank you so much Adam 💙👍🏽⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love that no matter what era a piece of "Delftware", It's all identifiable as "Delftware" What a great place!! "Native Grammy" sent me.. glad she did!
Awesome place, what a shocking waste of antiques, jugs , basins and matching soap dishes and gorgeous wooden furniture, , great site , thanks , enjoyed this one guys !! 🤗
OMG!! I would love to get into that house, pick up more display cases, wash up, dry, and put those 'pieces' in the safe place where they won't be destroyed by vandals! I would love just to be able to go through like Adam and see with my own eyes the beautiful places like this!
The "crutch "that you saw in the beginning was in actual fact a seat,in the form of a stick with a spike at the bottom, on the top opened up to form a seat, known as a shooting stick. The leather bag on the table behind the binoculars (Opera glasses) was in fact a schoolboys satchel, for carrying his books,I had one when l was at school.
Yeah the school satchels seemed to die out early 70s
B
this is one home that realy deserves to be saved
The fireplaces, pianos, beds and wardrobes were beautiful! There was so much hand carved work in them that was amazing. It was sad that the son left them to rot in the house. Though if he hadn't we wouldn't have gotten to enjoy them. But then the other side of that two edged sword is that they will be left here to rot and that makes me so sad. Too bad that looters went through and messed up some of the place. 😠
Thank you Adam. I appreciate your videos. Tell Dale "Hello" for me.
Wow as a private caretaker lots of clients end up using the dining room cuz they can't get up the stairs anymore when they are elderly. I think you hit it on the nail, they grew old passed on then the son did and now it's a time capsule, the cycle of life, I felt a particular sadness when you showed the banjo, think of the father playing traditional tunes. Mom playing the piano, in happier days. That place is amazing
Way to go Adam and Dale. This is absolutely a gem. Such beautiful old furniture snd weird grap hanging on the walls. So sad that no family members did not come and clear the house. So sad!!
It’s a shame to see this just rotting away. 😢 Thank you for sharing ♥️
The drenching gun was used on the livestock, sheep I think, it kills any internal parasites . Maybe that meat is, or was, mutton. I noticed all the brass candlesticks in one room, I have an identical pair of one set right beside me.
Just discovered your channel, Adam and it’s fantastic! I’m a professional author and write paranormal thrillers, and your videos are a fantastic help for inspiring locations, three of which will be appearing in my next book. And I’ll be putting a thank you to you and a link to your channel on the acknowledgment page 👍👍👍👍
That is lovely, what a honour ❤
Beautiful explore! So tough the place was ransacked by previous people. Thanks for sharing this! ❤
Same here thanks to him for sharing this amazing video,hi Lynn how are you doing with your family I hope you’re safe from the virus?
I can't stop thinking about the piano stool. I would love that! 😍
What an absolute gem, well done for finding this. Love your videos, always look forward to you uploads. Would love to be able to have a look around this one. Such a shame it's been left with no one to take it on. ❤
This is a classic Lisa explore. No stoned left unturned. Great job.
So beautiful, I hope it is saved before vandals find it and destroy these memories 😢❤️💙
Oh wow this one broke my heart. That place has a few deceased family members haunting the place for sure!!
yea..and I hope they stay there..after what they done to them poor animals..I hope they never rest in peace!
Well done Guy's glad you had company Adam, as it worrys me when your alone...
Fabulous explore 👍
What a fantastic find. Well done. The clothes dryer is a mangle. Great to watch as always. Take care guy's. Thanks.
Its so sorrowful when we see places decay...unloved...but you know, nothing in THIS WORLD lasts forever..especially when not taken care of...here we have history going to waste..good thing we get ppl like you to take pics and videos..thanks so much......💘 Rosey
Light blue paint - particularly in kitchens was said to ward off flies. Am in my 60's now but our kitchen was blue - I remember being told that as a cild; not sure the truth in that or folklaw. But a great find, wish you'd spend a few seconds more on wall paper or books/records to show the amazing lost designs of a by gone age or a glimpse into the personality of the previous occupants. And as I and others have said just love your opening theme tune...
Hmm...I'm in the process of painting our farmhouse. Been trying to decide on a color for the kitchen. Flies are awful out here bc our kitchen is facing the pigs pasture. Maybe the kitchen should be blue!🤔
Wow, that was absolutely stunning. Thank you.
Wow!, this house was amazing, I really enjoyed watching this one. I’ve only just recently discovered your Chanel from following Dale on TikTok and I’m absolutely addicted to your explores... brilliant! 😄
Glad your enjoying them !
What a lovely place.Love all the furniture and Planos.I wish you would take samples of all the different wallpapers. People would love them, use them for scrap booking.,picture borders, and to have a pattern to make more. The wash basins are so nice.a shame the vandals found it.take care guys 👍😍❤️🇺🇸
I bought an 18thc cottage and when I was stripping off some tatty 60s wood cladding I found about six layers of wallpaper. The first one was hand-painted! I have carefully stored them in a seal-tight plastic container and put them in the attic for posterity.
Old Spice, wow that reminds me of my own Father, he use to swim in it I am sure lol use to tell him he smelled like he had broken into a chemist with the amount of Old Spice he use to put on haha... lovely memories thank you.
I like that spoon collection ! So beautiful house.
I ♥️ that nothing appears to have been touched in over 70+ years except condensation weeping away the wall muzzles that still sing from the absent chords of a sofa-potato banjo! - perhaps a real telling of how/why people then and now still hang onto physical objects as voice instruments - abandoned places and belongings retain memories far more than humans (dead/alive) can ever muster.
Another smashing video Adam 😊 can’t beat your humour or expressions 👍 so many trinkets and decorations reminded me of my nans house. Dale with the banjo on your fb stories earlier had me dead 😂😂 can’t wait for the next one 🤪
You guys are so respectful of the house and its former occupants.
You are the best Adam with giving your fans great videos on fantastic finds. Stay safe 👍
Thanks, glad you like them
A beautiful home, full of memories lost in time.
What an amazing explore. Thanks for the journey. You took us on a wonderful explore…. Love your commentary.
Wow! What an amazing place, absolutely loved this one. Once again well done.
I can see you love what you're doing, and you respect other peoples things, you present it very good, thank you Ive enjoyed the tour back in time....God bless....🇿🇦
The wooden box with the glass bottles was a ladies toiletries box!
Just stumbled upon your page tonight and have to tell you… I’m hooked!! This is so awesome. And love that you do history on the places! Amazing page and content, please keep it up!!
Lots of music sheets
The over mantle mirror is beautiful.
I can just see all the activities & people living & working , & the history this house contains, its mind blowing to think off the story’s it. Hood tell if walls could speak , & they can , there would no doubt be residual energy roaming the halls at night
Adam when you was shocked with those piece of meat yes that’s right it’s dried old meat! it would have been cured pork!
I thought so too. Did appear to be a sort of jerky.
@@williebeamish5879 Very similar Willie.😀👍
Looked like skin to me. Draped around like that gave it a strange vibe. Like serial killer vibe
Ed Gein
Wouldn’t hanging meat like that cause flies and rodents? And why wouldn’t they just dedicate a room to drying meat? It’s odd seeing it tacked against doors. Is that normal?
I'm only at 10 minutes in and I'm so impressed with the respect shown. I can't believe the house hasn't been touched in all the years. It's a goldmine of memories for someone. The spoons probably have countries on the handles. Mom used to collect them.
LOL @ I hope it's not past explorers when looking at those things hanging.
So very sad to leave your family home and never return. It is a real shame seeing how some people come in and trash the place so badly. Thanks so much for sharing your video with us .❤️🩹
Great video! I live in the U.S. and in 2014, I was in an airport giftshop in the Amsterdam, Netherlands and bought a porcelain windmill very similar to the ones shown at minute 3:42.
Adam, the 'crutch' in the corner was a 'shooting stick'. Those ornaments, pictures, furniture was someone's life, lifetime of memories.
This is right up my street!
This is a real explore😀
literally or figuratively? if you mean literally, then let's get together and fix up the place or, at least, preserve all the items that should be kept as historic artifacts of a time gone by...
Oh what a shame someone's home been left to rack and ruin looks like the house has been passed down the family I lovecyhe way you respect the property so cheers Adam I love watching love fran xxxx
I have a new favorite. In Adam's words the place was "stunning".
All the gorgeous wood with all the elegant carvings all Left behind such a shame. And I do not think I've ever seen a fireplace in a bathroom before that was pretty cool. But I must admit finding the bones made me pause. Makes one wonder. Then you made the comment if whatever that was hanging up on door and wall had a foul odor. That maybe it was a past explorer. It does make you wonder about the past owners. ♥️ From Ga.
Maybe some hunter or vagabond killed some animals and hung them in there to dry out and preserva. And used the place to sleep and then moved on or something happened to him.
Are those animal bones?
That once loved and cherished home needs to be loved and cared for again.
Люблю смотреть передачи ваши😀!!! Мне кажеться ты сам рыцарь из прошлого пришел в наше время ♠️♠️♠️♥️
The thought that the house may collapse one day and destroy all the amazing things in there is distressing!
There is so much history in this home. It's rather sad to see such a beautiful place abandoned.

I hope that someone will get to have the great artwork before the house falls to refuse
I Love your explorations of these places they are timeless,Thank you for sharing and your time. Please enjoy yourself to the fullest because life is to short,Most of all be careful out here while doing so. I can’t wait for the next journey with you guys Much Love🦋
as always, great videos adam..stay safe you guys.. cannot wait on your next explore!
I appreciate how much care you took going through this home. It’s good you are archiving the home because at some point it will be lost completely to irreversible decay. At least we can see through your videos and appreciate what once was so precious to the owners.
I'll bet that the upstairs bathroom, with the bright yellow-flowered wallpaper, used to be a bedroom, and was later converted, once plumbing and electricity were available. I noticed the small fireplace, and how they had managed to squeeze in a small tub. That's the reason that I think it was a later conversion from when the house was first built.
I think you're absolutely right on that one. Cosy having an open fire in the bathroom if they used it!
Someone save it, and being it back to life.
Adam and Dale, thank you for showing us round such a breathtaking house. Did you see that key on the mantlepiece to wind that clock up? I'd have had to wind that clock up, i bet it still works. Seeing that bedroom floor gone through made my heart sink. I'm a 60's child but we lived with my nan til i was 10 and she had all this old stuff, took me back to those days, i love the old wooden furniture, the craftmanship and the wood and styles were quality.. thank you lads x
What a fascinating place I envy you to be able to explore it

Haha yeah, great one this isn't it. Amazing place so glad I got to see it
It's hard to believe that some antique dealer didn't pay the estate a pittance and collect enough items to fill an antique shop or create quite an antique auction. What looks like meat hanging around the house is exactly that. My mother, born in the U.S. in 1920, had a British grandfather who would take pieces of meat and hang it in the attic next to the chimney until it was dry and moldy. Then he would wash it with vinegar and use it in stews and the like or as beef jerky. BTW, Ritzler is an adopted name. My birth name was Stafford and my mother''s was Cooper. My ancestry goes straight back through the UK to the earliest days of the sovereign countries of England, Wales and Scotland. This house is a treasure and should be shared with history buffs and museums. The house could even be restored and turned into a Bed and Breakfast hotel. Thank you for sharing this house with us.
What a stunning home, too bad it has no one to bring it back to life :(
Wow!! Another brilliant video. I am going to move from the USA and come your way! There are so many abandoned homes there. A little scrubbing and love and the home awakes.
