Just a heads up when you do transfer from Go to Home you get a mystery gift in Home which is a Melmetal that can Gigantamax
@@perfecttalkz4259 so Gigantamax is like a new form Pokemon in Sword and Shield can take during certain battle or during raid battles, they grow giant and stronger, while just about any pokemon can Dynamax making them big, certain ones can Gigantamax which means they get big and also take on a new form like Pikachu gets fat like its 1990s version but with a long tail, Charizard has flame wings and new markings, things like that

This really helps thank you I just transferred some duplicates that I couldn’t remove from Pokémon go since I made them buddy’s so now that I have Pokémon home it works and I can put some of my Pokémon in Pokémon home to my switch. Hey I just figured it out and got my special Meltan!! ALSO, I read on the Pogo site that sometime soon shiny Meltan will be available soon with a new special event so hold onto your special boxes I just got mine and have to be patient. Maybe that event will coincide with the 28th special research

I would suggest opening meltan box during the spotlight hour on 17th November coz during that time you will have 2x catch candy and if you catch each and every meltan with pinap berry you'll have 360 candies and you can easily evolve one by using few rare candies.😃😃

So I read the update the PokemonGoLive website had back in September (September 29th to be exact) on this, and it said "When this integration goes live, limited-time events will be happening in Pokemon Go, featuring particular Pokemon. You will be able to activate the Mystery Box after you send a Pokemon to Pokemon Home from Pokemon Go, and if you open the Mystery Box during the celebration event, you'll have a chance of encountering a Shiny Meltan!"
So it looks like we will be getting another chance for Shiny Meltan, but they also didn't specify when the celebration event is happening. I know Animation Week is currently happening, so hopefully we'll get more news soon! :)
Hopefully, the Mystery Box I have prior to this update, will still work for the shiny Meltan event later on

Also I know you said you can't trade pokemon BACK to go from home but is that JUST pokemon you sent to home from go? Or is it not possible to send a pokemon from home (from a main series game) to pogo?

I really doubt it... but for competitive purpose, you can get the new ability patch item to unlock it.
You can easily get Cinderace or Rillaboom VGC ready with it, caps and a mint.

I got a level 62 dratini from a wonder trade on there I wasn't planning to send any pokemon to shield I just did it for the meltan but after I got the dratini now I'm planning to send and fully evolve it

They have a free alternative so it’s not difficult ur making it harder than it really is
Madness Arcade it is still more difficult than it has to be, you can’t even put the Pokémon you transfer over to HOME in Sw/Sh unless you’ve already gotten that Pokémon in game before.

So I tried putting a Genesect from GO to Gen 8 and it said the following: “The selected Pokémon brought over from Pokémon GO has not been obtained in this save file. The Pokémon cannot be withdrawn. What does that mean and what do I have to do to transfer it over?

yeee freaking great. I can get a bunch of legendaries and shinies in just for the dex so I can leave my beautiful shinies and sprites in their own games. Love it. EDIT: not liking the week cooldown and price though. I wasn't going to use it as supplemental storage or anything but is this really necessary? is it purely a cash grab or is it some kind of concern about the influx of shinies and/or legendaries, or some sort of server traffic thing? I get that Niantic doesn't see any of the Home subscription, so I don't mind their usual free-but-monetized thing...but that's a bit steep and the alternative is quite a long time. oh well, it's cool I guess. ain't urgent or anything.
to be fair, when ultra sun/ultra moon released some pokemon with a shiny chance of 1:4096, people said that it "ruined" the shiny economy for those pokemon, so it would probably be too OP to be able to instantly transfer all the shiny pokemon from pokemon go, which has a base rate of 1:500

Strider Barnes it is infinite. People can use bots to easily find the Frame the shiny is on and set the switch time back if it gets too close to midnight. Plus even if it passes midnight if the game is completely closed the den won’t go away. It being an intended feature has nothing to do with it being infinite as well lol

Honestly a nice feature to the game. Sucks to need to be able to be lvl 40(although it makes it balanced)

I'm level 16. I only ever played Go for Meltan and Melmetal anyway. I have no interest in grinding for ages to get to level 40. They better lower the level requirement otherwise I and many others will literally never get that G-max Melmetal.

There’s a mystery gift melmetal you can get in home for transferring in Pokémon. Hopefully you didn’t already say that and I missed it
so just as a reminder if you have the lets go games and an large amount of patients you can freely transfer any gen 1 pokemon to home through lets go without spending transport energy

after 3 days you can get a new one, it was a week at the start of letsgo, but it has shortened a while back

Meltan shiny did get a mention back in the end of 2019 early 2020
There was more recent mention about shiny meltan related to home release. This feature was supposed to come earlier. Now we just wait until they give us dates (or when reddit posts confirmation).

I'm so excited! I had prepared myself for the disappointment when they would make mythicals transfer-locked. But they didn't! I can finally get shiny Deoxys and Genesect in MSG! The long time/huge cost between important transfers doesn't bother me that much. At least the option is there now and I completely understand the reason behind the system (Gamefreak doesn't want huge flood of Go shinies and legendaries to main series games and Niantic doesn't want people to dump their whole collection to Home at once and quit GO). Sure, it can be really slow, if you have hundreds of shinies you wanted to transfer. But let's be real. Why do you want to transfer them? It's not like shinies, especially Go shinies have much trade value anyway anymore. And if you want to use them in your team or add them to your collection, you only need one. Sure, I also thought I could transfer ~40 shiny seedot and then wonder trade them forward and maybe make at least someone happy, but that's not a huge loss.
Only thing that sucks is you have to have the Legendary pokemon already registered in your Pokedex on Sword or Shield or u cant transfer it in. When i try to transfer my Lugia from pokemon home to Sword it says "The selected Pokemon brought over from Pokemon GO has not been obtained in this save file. The Pokemon cannot be withdrawn."
Wasted all my energy Transferring over a bunch of Legendaries and I cant Transfer any of them until I catch them in game?! How does that make sense, or is it because I dont own the dlc's? I am hoping that is the reason why, cuz it looks like Trainer Tips Nick had no problem transferring his Lugia...
Their reasons for not wanting so many GO shinies in Sw/Sh are just an excuse for wanting to get money out of the players. There are already so many shinies in Sw/Sh that no one would notice the new ones.
@@Aaron-hv4hr no, that's really not the case. Funny enough, but if they wanted more money, it would be a lot cheaper to recharge. 1000 coins is so expensive no one is going to buy it. Almost 10 dollars for each additional transfer? No. If it was 100 or even 200 coins I could see someone doing it now and then or even buying some coins to do a bunch of transfer in one go. But I can't believe no one is impatient enough to pay that much.
Dialny yes, that is the case. And there’s definitely people who will pay for it, it’s just a matter of how many of them there are and if Niantic will realize their cash grab isn’t a good idea.

Kinda off topic @trnrtipsnick but I don’t know any other way to make a suggestion to niantic. I just found out September 26th every year is national lumberjack day, and I was thinking it’d be cool if there was lumberjack attire in game such as a red/black flannel, a beanie, and some nice looking jeans with the pokeball and pikachu key chains like the “pikachu fan shorts”. I was also thinking they should add an option for facial hair. Just a thought. I hope you see this. I love your videos!!! Thanks

thats a good idea. how would you do it? just add portals to pokemon go and have them give out payouts of stardust or something for holding them? maybe even pokecoins like gyms?
