You can make an alt account and im pretty sure the dlc goes on the alt account if you had it before you bought the dlc and then you just use pokemon home and give your self the other forms

@@trippyslayer5665 you have to make a new Nintendo account and when you try to play your game instead of pressing your normal account press new user, once you create a new user head into your user settings and link your new Nintendo account to the user
Just so everyone knows, you need to be the campion to catch Calyrex, at least 7 badges for the regis, and catch the title legendary to hunt the Unova trio

I thought you needed all 8 badges for the Regis because you need 8 to catch 61+ Lvl pokemon
@@jinga9862 that might be true, i didn’t look into the exact but in order to do everything you need Zacian or Zamazenta so completing the post game first is recommended

The Regis are actually uncatchable until you have all 8 badges, seeing as they use the Wild Area trait of "not letting their guard down" and are level 70. Reference: I just tried this method. I even traded over my starter team to another save file, leveled them up to 80 and traded them back.

@@maxrbmc it feels really weird. I've spent the whole day doing that other save. Just now i went back to my main file. Seeing the pokedex complete, all my party and my boxes felt.. weird for some reason. I felt like i was 'back home' if you will but i felt like i was also in a foreign country. I think my mind just got adjusted to the other save and semi-freaking out heh.
Update: Just leant that the account ive been doing this on isnt linked to a Nintendo account. It wont let me use the same one so i dunno if i should make a new one or.... Im confused and scared that all those hours went to waste

@@kurisumin no. I beat the game and done everything in the video. Peony does NOT give you a masterball. You can in theory if you do not enter the crown tundra until your champion but if you enter it before becoming champion, you cannot get the second Masterball

Important to note is that you have to catch the other 3 regis in that game first, before you can get the choice-one though. tried with my regis from the other profile and the door wouldn't open, so had to do it all twice.

@@necro9541 The thing is that the game checks for the doors being opened and the regis being caught... since it already checks for the notes to all be finished
You get a free suicune and a massive ton of free legendaries with the dynamax adventures, you can farm money with the den glitch in order to buy dusk balls.
Hilarious that you don't address literally not being able to catch those Regis & horses right away in a new file; not 'til you get Champion status in the new file.
I mean the only thing you need for the regis is just to catch the original trio, but i guess for the horses and calyrex you need champion status.
@@5oryz2324 Even for the Regis, you'll need to clear most of the gyms to be a high enough trainer level.
You can catch any level pokemon starting after gym 8 though

I attempted to do this, got all the way to the top, and then it told me I wasn't strong enough. When I become the champion I can fight him...

Yeah Blaines didnt do enough research clearly or even try this himself properly. You basically have to complete the whole game
I managed to bring over strong pokemon and beat Peony, but once I got to a Regi it didn't let me catch it, with the wording of the Wild Area (something like "It won't let down its guard!")

I think this is important and needs to be said: if you place calyrex rider form (what I’m calling it) into one of your boxes and then go to Pokemon home you will notice that it has a padlock symbol on it, and when you try to place him in a different box it will say “this Pokemon cannot be transferred using Pokemon home” but do not fret as all you need to do is use the reins of unity found in your key items to de-fuse calyrex and glastrier/spectrier into the 2 separate Pokemon and then you are allowed to transfer them into whatever box you please.

You also need to beat Leon to be able to battle (and catch) Calyrex the second time. If you haven't, when you interact with him at the cathedral you get told that you need to be "as strong as the champion".
alternate option: Just get a legendary which you don't like and use GTS is pokemon home.
Tried the day the Crown Tundra came out and it said constantly:
"The specified pokemon doesn't exist"
Never tried GTS, you saying if I drop Entei for example, someone in this world would give me one of the new Regis? the new Regis seem more rare to trade I would have though for shinys or something

I haven’t finished crown tundra and I already have a glastrier and calyrex from DUMB GTS trades. One for a slurpuff, the other for a shiny darumaka 😭

I don’t know how he was able to catch them with such a low level team considering the fact that you need all 8 badges to be able to catch the Regis at level 70 and I assume calyrex as well. So if you want to do this, just catch a legendary in the dynamax adventure and beat all 8 gyms with it. It took me about 6 hours with turbo on.
Or do what I did, start a new save, pick a starter, transfer that starter to HOME, from home transfer to your other main save, level it up to 100 with candies, put it back in HOME, put it in your other game, voila, play through the game with a LV100 starter

I managed to do this as well to get both Spectrier and Regieleki though if anything I had completely forgotten that DLC is shared across all profiles as long as it is on the same Switch.

Well you can use trading in Pokemon home to get one
There's another way too but it takes a while to do you need to get one of the horses and one of the electrical or dragon Regis then place all your favourite pokemon with the registration and horse in pokemon home then reset your game data then when you have set the game up again move the pokemon from pokemon home to sword or sheild then you can take the regis than you don't have then you'll have both Regis and horse
P.s it works when summoning regigigas

@@calumreadle4385 As long as the original account that purchased the DLC is on it's primary switch and there are less than 8 users on the same system, all purchased games and DLC will be usable, you can also use the main account on any other switch as long as you're connected to WiFi as well

I went ahead and started another account and right after I got the bike I ended up going to the Crown tundra to do a couple of the max raid adventures. When returning to the main portion of the game to go through the story, I noticed that I was able to use the pokemon that I had caught in the raids from Crown tundra. I didn't know if you new about this or if you had even heard of it happening before, but I thought It was pretty interesting and wanted to let you know. I definitely got through things a lot faster with a level 70 Thunderous against a level 35 pokemon.
I thought this was going to be one of those “can’t do it but say you can videos” and I’ll admit when I’m wrong
The story was super easy lol after I got crown tundra I completed it in like an hour and a half the real challenge was the regies and birds

Awesome that it’s possible to get both Horses and Regis in the same file. It sucks though that you pretty much have to complete the whole game all over again just to catch them.

I've literally juz got a shiny magmar in LGPE when started watching this vid ahahaha
I just got a shiny Magmar in the max raid adventures while watching this video that is insane.
Easier way: Get pokemon from your main game level them up with candy or by fainting pokemon and getting xp. Then put those pokemon in pokemon home, then make a new file and put the pokemon that's in pokemon home into your new save file. then completely obliterate everything till you get the pokemon you want to make everything way faster.

Just import a series of teams that would fit in with your number of badges: Level 18 for zero, Level 28 for one, Level 38 for two, Level 48 for three, Level 58 for four, Level 68 for five, Level 78 for six, Level 88 for seven and then up to Level 100 once you've got eight! And now, with _Legends Arceus_ being part of Home now, it's all too easy to catch a team of Level 60 or higher and then leveling the heck out of them by spamming fights with the Alphas, seeing as they drop Rare Candy!

The low level part can be made easier by doin a Max Tour and grabbing a legendary or something from there since they’re all like 70-80 and guaranteed catches pretty much
You basically have to complete the whole game. He doesn’t disclose that in order to capture the second horse, you have to be the champion. This video is misleading
Also you can't even trade the horse to pokemon home
@@mrmonkeyalt9114 You can put the horse in pokemon home. It just can't be attached to Calyrex when you do it. (Source: Did that two days ago to get Glastrier in my main file)

Then select the reins in your key items and select Calyrex and it will separate them. Sorry if you already knew that, but I had to look it up to figure out so I figured I'd mention it

The old ones, no. The new ones are shiny locked except the 2 new Regis
The birds are locked, calyrex and the horses are locked, but everything else isnt. You can even get the new regi -shinies :)

Yes you can, Just go to settings and scroll down to Users then press add user
Yea but you cannot unlink the user profile so if you dont mind have 2 user profiles on your Switch forever you are fine.

Nah
This is the method I use to get event Pokémon from the different languages available; just make new accounts and play the game in different languages.
You are right!! This can help you doing the masuda method without trading and paying for nintendo switch online! (You just have to make sure that u can understand other language tho)

I have little trouble with Spanish and German in this game. Italian is ok. The only difficulties will be France and all the not-our-alphabet languages.

Why did your Regidrago and Spectrier have different Original Trainers if you caught them both on the same file? Neither of them matched the trainer name you had in game either.

Unfortunately this has been fixed. You can only use one nintendo account per profile on Pokemon Home. So you have separate boxes per profile so it is impossible to trade between profiles

No. I thought this too but you can switch what switch users save file you are using to transfer into Pokémon home. Sign into your main one. Select “Pokémon” and than it will give you the option to change which user save data to use when transferring

For some reason Serebii is saying it's possible to get both on one save file
It's saying that if you unfuse Calyrex then you get the other horse
I don't know if it's referring to the horse it was fused with or if it's referring to the other horse legendary(like maybe you can get the carrot seeds again)

I think all switch accounts link to 1 pokemon home
One game file. You need two user accounts for the switch which does not require any additional set up or money and allows you to combine the Pokemon you get from both user accounts.

@@tanavel6098 wouldn’t consider that a stupid q at all. So you don’t actually need one if you log into Home using your original account and then switching to the new account while in home by clicking user
