    UPDATE Due to watching this video have now purchased and set up my Maonocaster Lite. Slight difference in use, it's being used to take live phone calls while broadcasting/streaming a live 2hr weekly rock show. Three key points to mention. One, watch this superb video twice. Two, @4.00 mins it clearly states, for mobile phone use a splitter, and MIC into PORT and Headphone into Music Input (Mix Minus Set Up). Three, use the supplied USB cable to PC, it will instantly pick up Output and Mic Input as "Maono" but go into settings and increase volume of Mic Input, now your listener can clearly hear you, and the music. This "hands on" video demonstration works perfectly !!! Many thanks.

    Now I just need to try the same thing but with iPad in other POD to get footage as I don’t know how to record a video of being on the call.

    Great video. I'm just not sure which cable to get for the iPhone. I'm not sure if they all offer trrs for both mic and speaker use. As both are required for this to work. Did you just buy a basic cable and it worked, or is a special lightning cable? Your husband is funny. "tonight". lol.

    • @jenuds

      Most of the lightning adapter you can buy elsewhere are only as headphone adapter which you can hear but it will not work for Recording or Streaming. In fact the adapter I bought from amazon did not work for Recording. The adapter I bought from Apple Store works.

    Thanks Jenud, I really like your videos. I'm trying to build a live stream with live calls using the Maonocaster AU-AM100. I have a TRRS splitter that goes from the cell phone to the Maonocaster phone input as well as to my headphone. In the beginning of each call I need to mute the caller from the audience. My problem is that the caller volume stays pretty quiet no matter how I try to adjust the volume on the Maonocaster. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?

      Just had a look. Appears even though you can hear the voice changer your end, it appears to be received by the other caller in normal voice.
      The way to fix this I assume is to use phone on loudspeaker and external speaker so it’s then heard.
      Eg, if I called you with voice changer, you wouldn’t hear the selected voice???

      But when I wanted the caller to interact with other people who were live on my stream they would not hear each other
      But I can hear both of them
      And the caller can’t hear me with voice effects like (uncle) etc.. he can hear my normal voice

    • @jenuds
      @jenuds  Год назад

      In this video set up, Host is the only one can interact with the caller. As I showed in this video, the caller should be able to hear you and you can change your voice with the voice changer effects. Also as you can see in this video, I am playing the audio from the streaming and as you noticed we can hear the callers audio which means your viewers including should be able to hear your caller as well. If you want your caller interact with other people who are live with, you will need application for that.

      If your iPad has no headphone jack and you want to use it for streaming, then you need a light lightning adapter. Please note adapter has to have calling feature or capable of calling as well coz some lightning are only for headphone adapter which means you can only hear everything but won’t record.

      I’m not sure if I’m getting your question correctly, just let me know if not. The audio or voice from the caller goes to the live stream (in this video- you Tube live stream). Your viewers hear the caller as well. After I live stream, I saved and sync the audio video so you hear it right away the actual audio output from the You tube streaming.
