That's a very nice set! I'd recommend keeping everything from it, including the box. I've never been a Pennsy fan, but that K4 honestly looks so damn good. Real shame that their Spectrum line is no more. I'd also recommend that you don't run a DC locomotive on a DCC transformer. That electric squealing isn't a good thing, trust me...
I have my inner loop setup now and it's analog. I'll definitely keep all my boxes. The spectrum line of Bachmann steam locomotives are a different beast from their diesel locomotives. Their modern K4 and class J are a modern run of the spectrum with DCC/ sound.
Spectrum technically still exists. Bachmann recently re-released the K4 with TCS WOW Sound decoders installed and it says Spectrum on the box. Spectrum is only being applied to certain models at this point, but it isn't completely dead.
@@MatthewsModelTrains "The spectrum line of Bachmann steam locomotives are a different beast from their diesel locomotives". Bachmann diesels are nothing special compared to the other companies that make the same models but better unless you get an insanely good deal on a Bachmann diesel. Bachmann shines with their steam since they, Broadway Limited, Athearn, and now ScaleTrains re-releasing the ex-MTH N&W J are the only ones who do HO steam anymore.
Very Nice. 👍🏼
Thank you! :)
Very nice Trainset. I always wanted a K 4 steam engine. Thanks for showing this , enjoy.
Thank you! The locomotive is running really nice. I'll definitely make another video of it.
Awesome video and set! I'd recommend upgrading the lighting in the cars to LEDs! Scott's rails did a video recently on this
I'm definitely going to check it out.

@@OriginalBongoliath I was looking at the new K4s. Very tempting. TCS WOW Sound is amazing. Two of my Locomotives have it.
The K4 locomotives are pretty good engines love the look of them. The 4-6-2 Pacific class are my favorite of non articulated class
They definitely are very nice 🙂
@@MatthewsModelTrains I do have a 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive buy not a K4 I wish I had one but I don't. At some point I will.
@@Tankproduction2022 There must be some deals on them. Bachmann has a new run of them with DCC/ Wow sound. Wow sound is epic.
VERY NICE THANKS FOR SHARING.😊😊👍👍🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
Your very welcome :)
Beautiful steam engine
Thank you! 😊
What is this train set?
The Keystone Pennsylvania by Spectrum. It's HO scale. The Bachmann Spectrum series has other sets too.
@@MatthewsModelTrains wow
Were can I find that set?
It's a older set. I found it on eBay. I have never seen it before.
Interesting
@@SkylineRailfan Right now there is a Bachmann Spectrum set with the 4-8-4 class J in HO scale. Looks really nice. On eBay.
You will Be Hunting For More.
I found more. I bought a Spectrum Class J set. Be awhile before it gets to me though.
