Have canada goose ever made Pbi Ambassador chilliwack coats in the colour BLACK? There is one being sold on ebay and dont know if it's fake or authentic. Look forward to your reply
Fits me well. Don’t worry about the fitting bc the people working inside the Canada Goose store will recommend you the size if you just ask. It’s been a year since you commented, have you bought a jacket yet? Edit: grammar
I'm around 6 foot 1 170 pounds. I tried on a medium but its a little snug in the chest area. Do you think a large would fit better or would it be too big?
Im 170.5cm , 64kg, my chest and waist fit the S size according to CG sizing chart and my waist fits the XS, which size should i go for? I dont want the jacket to look too loose on me, im 17 so my body is still changing
Why would you buy the XS, if that is your smallest measurement? These Bomber Jackets are made for the cold, not to fit you like a sport coat. It's going to look the way it looks, like a winter jacket. The waist size is pretty irrelevant, as the coat is not tailored. You should order the size that fits your largest measurement, you will be layering clothes under the jacket if you are going somewhere cold, and the extra room will make the jacket fit less snugly. You also mentioned you are still growing. Almost $1,000 for a jacket is a lot if in a year or two you have outgrown it. If your chest measurement says you fit the Small, then order the Small. Just my 2 cents.
Did you get one yet? It’s been 2 years since your comment. Also, I’m getting mines in 2 weeks from now. How’s the size? What’s your height and weight? Thanks in advance
If it has a yellow goose on the inside and on the pockets is it fake or just a older version also how do you close the zip all the way up because after it gets one button from the top it becomes harder to pull up but until that point its fine.
Hey Robbie, great review you have a new subscriber. I am 5 7 , very broad shoulder, muscular build and 170lbs, should I do a medium or small in the Chilliwack? Happy Holidays.
+A-M thanks for watching! Hmm for serious cold weather it would have to be the chilliwack. But that might change this year with the new coats I’m gonna test out
Canada Goose Reviews I’m very interested in why you prefer a bomber jacket for the coldest weather? I thought you’d have picked the expedition or citadel due to greater body coverage. What about the hips, crotch, thighs areas as far as severe wind? Thanks!
Lifestyle mostly. I like in the city and it’s not unbearably cold in Wisconsin so I tend to really like the bomber for ease of movement and comfort while sitting. If I lived in a colder climate or spent a lot of time outside working, I’d get a warmer coat for sure. Hope that helps!
there’s a new version of the Chilliwack Bomber jacket. It has some new details now . Can you do a refreshed version of your overview? Would be so cool because I think about buying this coat!! And excuse my language, I’m German haha.
I would also like to know what other changes they made in 2018 (except the badge on the left and the removable fur) any pros of the new one or anything worth knowing? is there a difference in fitting or something? I would be glad if you could DM me on Instagram @viktorjanzen97 :)
You can't go wrong with a Canada Goose Parka or Bomber jacket. My family have a cabin in the north of Ontario, no road in in the winter, and we either have to Snow Shoe in, or take an Argo, that's an eight wheeled Amphibious Vehicle with tracks you install for the winter. At any rate, it can get to -40 degrees in the winter, and you are miles from the nearest "outpost", and that is usually vacant in the winter. We cannot afford to get cold or wet, or get caught in a Snow Squall, and Canada Goose is the only company I trust to keep me and my family warm, dry, and alive. I wouldn't use anything that left me in any doubt about it's performance. Sure they are expensive, but what is your safety and survival worth to you? Some bitch about the Coyote Fur Ruff around the hood, but real fur creates wind turbulence, which inhibits frost and ice from forming on your eyelashes and eyebrows, and your beard if you have one, and real fur is pretty waterproof, somewhat like Beaver Fur. You can't say that about fake fur, which is not only NOT GREEN, because fake fur is made from Fossil Fuels, it gets very wet, and it doesn't decompose...ever. The Coyote Fur comes from Ethical Trappers, and the amount of Coyotes trapped is strictly controlled by the Canadian and US Governments. I believe the new Blue PBI Chilliwack Bomber (I am buying one) has a removable fur ruff. I don't like this new feature, as I think if it is removable, it is not sewn on, and that means (to me) that there will be gaps where the fur attaches to the hood. I hope I am wrong about this. We have three Expedition Parkas, and three Chilliwack Bombers. I am someone who is ALWAYS cold, according to my family, and I have NEVER been cold or anywhere near cold wearing any Canada Goose Jacket or Coat. I am buying the Blue one because I like the color...so there. I guess I am shallow...haha. NO. I am smart, because now if one jacket is unavailable, I will still have another. I LOVE this company, and I LOVE their products, I think you will too.
